One of the biggest issues was caused by Kayak. Kayaks website did not mention the fact that a credit card was required when renting a car from budget. Needless to say I was unable to rent the vehicle.Reviewed Sep 5 2024

I liked how easy it was to pick up my vehicle and drop it off, including my ability to extend my rental period. However, the vehicle came with tinted windows that were darker than legally allowed in the state of Florida, and so I was operating a vehicle that I could have been ticketed for driving. Also, the vehicle was not fully cleaned inside, and I was able to determine that this vehicle had been in an accident previously, because the hood did not properly line up with the fenders, and I could tell the hood and front end had been repainted.Reviewed Aug 16 2024

An issue with the rental seal around windshield showed up when I drove the vehicle above 50 mph. The seal would come loose. I reported the issue upon drop off and am now being charged the fee to fix a maintenance issue for a dry rot seal.Reviewed Aug 13 2024

Only 1 rep working so the wait was a bit long. Rep was friendly. I rented a Tesla and had a regular charger at the rental house but had to purchase an adapter to charge the Tesla. They should be included. Otherwise all was well.Reviewed Aug 9 2024

The line was over an hour and a half long to pick up my car. They know ahead of time how many reservations they have and were ill prepared. The first agent I worked with was rude, condescending, and tried more than once to rush me into entering my credit card and accept things I clearly told him I didn’t want like paying in advance for tolls and gas. I then waited an additional half hour for a manager who checked me out. The manager was fine to work with.Reviewed May 1 2024

Pickup wasn’t great. The service was super slow, the agent had no sense of urgency with a line of people waiting to pick up cars. The car itself was filthy when we got in. When I arrived at the Budget counter and learned there was a two hour wait to speak to anyone I walked next door to a competitor and rented car without a reservation in 10 minutes.
