They didn't have the car I reserved and I was charged more at the counter to get the same size car. If a car rental company doesn't have the reserved car, an upgrade should be provided for free. The agent at the desk told me he was unable to do this standard industry practice.Reviewed May 22 2023

The cars we were given were in terrible condition- We left the lot in one car that had parts falling off of the interior and rattling sounds in the dashboard. We came right back (customer service was friendly). They traded this car in for another - old beat up car that was in poor condition.Reviewed Apr 13 2023

The rental car smelled like cigarette scented air freshener. This car was heavily smoked in. I had a constant headache when driving. The rear driver side turn bulb was blown. I bought a new one at auto parts store . Car was old with many miles on it. I will not use Fox again.Reviewed Mar 1 2023

I was supposed to pick up my car at Tampa airport on Wednesday, 2/22. My plane landed at 11:30pm and when I got to the rental kiosk I’ve been told that they were out of cars! Even though I reserved and paid for the rental in advance l. Since there was no other forms of transportation available I had to take Uber to my destination and come back to the airport in the morning to pick up my car, which included an extra $80 on costs for me. When I asked if I could get reimbursed for the Uber, I’ve been told that I can’t with no other explanation given. Horrible experience! I’d appreciate if anything can be done about the extra cost. Since we tried to find the best value in our rental, we were surprised to have to have an extra $12.99 daily for tolls, or else be penalized $90 if we ever went on any toll road.Reviewed Jan 18 2023
