Facility smelled like onions 🌰. When I asked what the smell was I was told it was some earlier customer's luggage. No attempts were made to remedy the odor

Staff was very friendly and professional letting me know about back seat being scratched up and minor damage that was already on the car prior too my trip.I didnt get the SMALL VEHICLE THAT I WOULD HAVE LIKED INSTEAD I HAD TO USE A NISSAN ALTIMA THAT WAS "OK" ON GAS BUT NOT AT ALL WHAT I HAD RESERVED

I spoke to budget numerous time before my pickup day. On my day of pick up i talked to them 3 times. I called the morning of pickup to make sure everything was good to go, asked what all I needed to bring and was told a credit/debit card, drivers license, and both had to match the name on the reservation. On the way to pickup the car budget called us twice, once asking what time we were coming and a second time saying the standard suv we were supposed to be getting had an unexpected oil change and so the only thing they could offer us was a minivan or a smaller suv. We settled for the minivan and drove almost 2 hours to pickup. Upon getting there he asked for a credit/debit card to swipe and then said they couldn't rent us a car because of our credit score. So of all the times I talked to this place nothing was mentioned about a credit check. So we got no vehicle and

Car had a tire with a slow leak. All tires had been over inflated and the leak was not repaired. Had to stop four times to add air and tire stop leak product.

Poor customer serviceI reserved online and called ahead multiple times to confirm my reservation before taking a 20 minute can ride. All of my calls went unanswered so I figured they were busy. When I arrived 2 people were at the desk training with no customers. I was told they did not have a car for me. I get things get overbooked sometimes but there is no excuse for not answering the phone. Even if stepping away from the desk there should be an answering machine or service to avoid situations like this.

No complaintsI rented a cheap car so I didn't expect much anyway but the cost was actually lower than what I rented it for. Plus, they gave me leeway with returning the car since I picked up late.

Way better than pick upEasy return. Straightened out the credit card issue. Re-did paperwork so I wasn't charged for fill up after I had declined it to start with and filled gas myself.Was explained that Dulles staff have been misinforming people about the fill up option...Dulles told me I would be charged for it even tho I declined it, but it would b credited to me upon return...Weyers Cave staff were unable to take the charge off once it's on, so had to re-do the reservation to avoid the charge.
