I rented a manager special for $179. That wasn’t exactly cheap for three days. The manager special came and it was a minivan for me one person. The car was absolutely filthy on the outside. I had to have it washed and clean before I could attend my Luncheon in Asheville. No one was there to assist in finding the car at the Asheville airport. What a mess it is there! You go from one end of the car rental trailer outdoors to the other to get the rental and then finding the car , do t arrive in the dark. no one is there to assist you.. You just aimlessly wonder around the parking lot asking other customers how they found their car. If you don’t Purchase all of the extras, the people at the counter aren’t very nice. You feel shuttled in and shuttled out like cattle. I was asked to sign a paper that there was no outside damage or blemishes to the car without even seeing the car/Minivan. I would never rent from Thrifty again.Reviewed Feb 28 2025

The car was not cleaned when we picked it up. The back seat was full of dog hair and there was mud on the floor. We did not realize it until we had passengers sit in the back seat several days later. When I told the agent at drop off that the car wasn’t cleaned I was told I may be charged for cleaning the car since I didn’t take pictures of the problem before we left the airport.Reviewed Nov 11 2023
