Upon arrival, Thrifty Car Rental did not have a car available! We were left without any choice but to rent a vehicle from Budget Car Rental at 3x the price. Will never use Thrifty or Kayak again!!Reviewed Apr 15 2023

I had to wait almost 1 hour for my vehicle, offered a lower class vehicle for the same rate, cost to insure the vehicle is very high and I had to search for the manager because the employee would not call him. The good news is that the manager comp me for some of the rental fees.Reviewed Apr 8 2023

I arrived to pick up my rental (reaerved weeks before at SNA airport for 10:00am), and no one was at the rental booth. There was a sogn saying to go to Dollar. I went to Dollar and was told there were no cars, and there would be none for 3 hours. I asked what I could do and was told to go to Avis. I did and had to pay twice as much as negotiated with Thrifty. Horrible!!!Reviewed Jan 25 2023

We were told it was going to be a 3 hour wait for our car when we showed up at our reservation time. We didn’t get a car and had to go to another company. I will be disputing the charge if I don’t hear back soon.Reviewed Jan 2 2023

We got in very late - almost closing time. They had very few cars left and offered an upgrade to a convertible. They gave us a Ford Mustang. It was a fun car to drive, but not much room for four people and luggage. It was hard to get into and out of. Thank you for the upgrade, but I wouldn't pick a Mustang again if it was offered. Thrifty treated us well - will use again.Reviewed Jun 17 2022
