Pros:Nice employees @counter, thx.
Pros:I like that the staff took care of the issue but it was twice as much as we planned for.
Cons:The fact that I plugged in the type of car we needed and the site scammed me into thinking I got a great deal on it when in fact it was for a much smaller car and not at all usable.
Cons:Car was not vacuumed. Smelly and full of foot prints and dirt
Cons:I canceedl my rental 3 days in advance but was never able to get in touch with anyone from Kayak or from Thrifty to discuss their cancellation policy. I called multiple agencies who told me I had the wrong department and then they transferred me to a different department only to be told that I had contacted the wrong department. They said someone would call me. No one has reached out. I will never use Thrifty again, and I probably won’t use Kayak again either. Terrible experience. I wasted so much time on my honeymoon.
Cons:Picking up and dropping off was very easy, fast the associates were pleasant and helpful
Pros:Nothing. Only had one clerk when I came and I didn’t know if she worked for Budget or Thrifty. I was the only person there.
Cons:Told clerk that I had a son in a wheel chair. No offers for an upgrade which I was willing to pay if the price was right. The car was too small for my son and the wheelchair barely fit. I called their office number and no one answerd. I called like ten times. Probably only had that one clerk working. Never ever going rent from this place again. The return was just as bad. Had to wait For the guy who wasn’t even dressed in a Budget shirt
Cons:I apparently booked a mystery vehicle, which turned out to be a mini van. The initial agent I spoke to was short and less than helpful - failed to tell me about checking the car over first and filling out the damage slip. After realizing the van was just too big, I went back in and saw a different more helpful agent who got me into a sedan for +$10/day.
Pros:Competitively priced midsize, pretty standard renting experience.
Cons:Booked something with room for 5 bags per Kayak, got a Mazda 3 which is way too snug for three full size bags and the kids' knees were all up in my seat back.
Pros:Pick up and drop off were both fast and easy, and the staff was excellent
Cons:Help getting the luggage to the car
Pros:Attendant is helpful.
Cons:The car we rented has a lot of dings and scratches. But it works as it is.
