Torrance SUV Rentals

Cons: Not all hertz are shady but this specific location in Torrance is a BAD IDEA. The guy is a con artist but luckily not s very good one. I'm sure this location will be shut down in a year or so, it's already on it's way from the looks of it.

Cons: Pickup wasnt easy I was late only 2hrs because of traffic jam so they said they rented to some on else which was lie and then they try to give me full size car so I agreed and paid more. The person was in charge didnt even walk tthrough and handed me keys as soon as I opened the car door it smelled like pot , I was very upset. I was driving in freeeway the left side of tire started making noise, I called they send me to nearest airport and that took my another 2 hours so I had a very bad day. I asked for area manager phone and they were hasitate to give me made me more upset. I will never ever rent hetz rental car.

Cons: When reserving a car online, it said the Hertz location was open until 6pm. I got there at 5:30, and no one was there. The hotel check in told me they close at 5pm. It needs to be changed online. So I went to a competitor and rented a car there.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: No modern car that lacks USB ports should be rented out. When people are traveling, this is a basic need. Similarly, no cars (especially hatchbacks and SUVs) should be rented out without a trunk cover. Travelers have luggage they need to hide from plain view. This car sort of had a cover (it was more like the spare tire cover) that I was able to rig up as a trunk cover, but it wasn't ideal.

Cons: The only issue I had was that I reserved the car for noon because I needed to pick it up on my lunch hour and the location was closed from noon until 1 for lunch which was not noted on the website when I made the reservation. So I had to wait an hour and was late getting back to work.

Cons: I arrived on a Sunday, just after opening to pick up my car there was a line. Only 1 employee was working, and I kept hearing the employee tell everyone that the cars had not been cleaned yet, and it would be an additional 15-20 min. I was in a hurry and took mine without a cleaning. It wasn't too bad on the inside, so it worked out. No other complaints.

Cons: I drove about 20 minutes to pick up my rental, only to be told that my reservations online were invalid, and that all vehicles were booked. The staff was nice and offered an appology, but this was an inconvenience that could have been avoided.

Cons: I reserved a car rental on Kayak.com. But, when I went to Enterprise in Torrance, CA..to pick up the car I was told that I could not rent a car without a credit card. I gave my debit bank card with 2 forms of ID, but was told that I had to have a major credit card or an electric bill with my debt card and with that, I had to rent a car in the city in which I lived. Also, I was told that I would have to call an Enterprise Car Rental place in the area in which I lived to see if they could switch my reservations. I explained to the clerk at the front desk that I worked in the Torrance area down the street and reserved a rental there for convenience. But, that was not good enough. So, I had to go elsewhere at the last minute. I went across the street to Avis Car Rental, they were much more friendlier, professional, and accommodating. So, in my opinion..I give two Thumbs down to Enterprise. Don't Accommodate!!

Cons: Great experience nothing bad to say. Quick, great price, convenient and easy

Cons: My complaint is that they charged an extra $2. It’s the principle not the $2. My online reservation said total $37.99 plus tax and in the end I was charged 39.99 plus tax. If they get an extra $2 for every customer, that’s a lot! And why should I book it online if the price is not honored?

Cons: The pick up truck was dirty

Cons: Long wait to pick up vehicle, with no attempt to organize check in process for the 30+ people crowded into the small waiting room. Staff were unapologetic and not terribly professional

Cons: Low staffed location, took very long to get vehicle. Did not get my compact car which I wanted "to easily navigate LA streets. Was put in a pick up truck which had stains on driver seat and front / rear carpets. Drop off was horrendous. No one present in car return. Was told by multiple staff that someone was outside at podium to receive returns and there wasn't. Was forced to be rude to staff members in order to have someone do my car return. Will not rent from this location again.

Cons: Had to wait ~20-25min to get my car.

Cons: Would have been nice to have a built in GPS, I didn't realize that wasn't standard

Cons: I didn't like anything about it because I didn't get to go on my vacation because I didn't get a car at Avis because they were sold out even though I had a reservation. Avis sucks

Cons: The rental car office was closed at the time I was scheduled to pick the car up. I reserved a minivan, but they only had a full van.

Cons: It took FOREVER. Could Budget be less efficient? I was behind a Romanian with a Maryland driver's license and Budget couldn't cope. Then my agent slow walked my forms. Then I got ferried to another facility where I waited while the car was cleaned. This was during my lunch break from work.

Cons: You rented me a car from a location that is closed!!! I was 2 hours late to help my grandmother in a wheelchair. Wtf.

Cons: Location did not have cars when arrived. Waited two extra hours. Had to book directly thru enterprise. Missed flight connection. Uber and taxi fees to and from this location twice to try and pickup.

Cons: I got to the budget drop off in Torrance at 1:30 in the afternoon and there wasn't anybody around. I waited 20 mins. And the guy showed up. Maybe they need more than one person working there.

Cons: reservation cancelled the morning of pick up...told I could go to the airport...I'm totalled pissed off and do not recomend this service
