Dirty car inside, like totally dirty and mark no damages, but there was damages and it was hard to c them at night what was the pick up. I was lucky to find the damages on a rental parking lot and make the photos, otherwise they would ask me to pay for them. The request of 2 credit cards as guaranteed was shock, they said we need two of your credit cards as it a luxury car. Lucky me I have 2

Supplier choice

The supplier choice is apparently an EV even though I didn’t select the EV option. They require you to bring the car back charged. For a one day rental to the airport, that is not realistic. I was also charged for gas, which I had stopped near the airport and filled up. I eventually got a credit but the whole thing was a hassle and didn’t leave me feeling good about renting from Budget in the future.

Full-size SUV

Pick up process was ridiculous. I'm not exaggerating--standing outside (not in any type of building or cover) for 56 minutes while they tried to figure out rentals for myself and 7 other customers. Ended up just giving me a size up, was not cleaned well, didn't have record of what fuel level was at, and staff spoke all of 3 words to me. I saw the poor reviews at this location and figured, how bad can it be? Yes I got my vehicle and it worked fine, but the entire pick up and drop off experience was horrible and I do not plan to rent from this brand at this airport again.

When I rented the car Alan the manager said the car had a full tank of gas, once I drove off and was 3 miles away I realized the car was only three quarters full. So I returned it full because it was stated that way but it was not.

Cons:

We received an email two days before pick up telling us to pick up at the WRONG location. We were directed to a Ford dealer (4th and US 1 Vero Beach.) They told us that Hertz left 2years ago! We had to drive to Vero Airport...a waste of a valuable hour... before had to drive to Palm Beach airport. Terrible! Hertz desk blamed this on the reseller. Someone is to blame and should fix it!

Being in southern Florida where the temps were 82-85 degrees, having a car with a/c would’ve been ideal. I was better off getting a compact for half the cost if I knew it would have a/c

If Enterprise actually had the vehicle or any vehicle that matter for rent. I spent $60 on Ubers to find out after getting to Enterprise...all out of cars...this happened with more than one booking. Plus the cost of all the other UBERS needed because Enterprise is taking reservations for cars they don't have.

The staff did an okay job.

I arranged for the car a couple weeks early. I got confirmation as to where and when to pick the vehicle up. A day before, I received best wishes from kayak. Went 20 miles out of my way to pick the vehicle up. It was supposed to be a Cadillac SUV or similar vehicle. When I got to Enterprise it was closed because of the covid-19 problem. A note on the door indicated I shouldn't drive back for 20 miles to a different Enterprise operation. When I got there they didn't know who I was or what vehicle I wanted. They eventually transferred the lease to their business I was able to rent me a vehicle. Instead of the Cadillac SUV I was offered a choice between a Hemi Challenger and a convertible Mustang. Both are nice cars, but neither where what I wanted for the long trip I have planned. After about a two-hour delay, I did get rent the Challenger and went on my trip. All in all it was not a good experience and I will avoid Enterprise in the future.
