Associate in Wichita was very helpful and personable. Car could have been a little cleaner especially the windows and mirrors. We had to change the location of the return but the gentleman on the phone made it so easy and the associate at Mesa Gateway airport was terrific.

Great car, great price. Easy drop off, remember to have a pen if you're doing after hours drop off to fill out your return slip because there isn't anything there to write with

Policies are antiquated. Total rip off. You have to prepay then they pretend you still owe so much more money.

Their online check-in system is badly broken; took about 20 tries before it worked, including some attempts that took 10+ minutes of wait (which failed). The vehicles reeked of cigarette smoke (if was nauseating) but I was not warned at all that the vehicle was a smoking vehicle. Again and I again I find my experience with Hertz just frustrating overall. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I called ahead to see if I could get a partial refund if I brought it back a day early. They were unable to tell me whether or not they could. I took a chance and brought it back early and the desk person was able to give me a refund. Otherwise, I would have just kept it for the extra day. This is something that needs to be spelled out clearly for all renters as it would have saved me some frustration. However, I was thankful that I got a credit, and the desk personnel both at pick up and drop off were professional and friendly and the car itself was very satisfactory.

We drive a luxury car but do not like to travel and put a lot of miles on it. So we rent. The facility was immaculate, very clean and well kept. The staff at pick up and drop off were amazing, efficient and helpful! The car we didn’t care for it wasn’t cleaned very well. There were crumbs in the passenger seat seams that could have been easily vacuumed out. There were 3 old stickers that blocked the view on the windshield that someone has peeled off. My husband used some remover so we could see better without obstructing our view. There were SKU stickers on the drivers door that when you changed lanes for a minute you thought it was another vehicle. The car only had 15,000 miles on it but ran dogish: no pick up, kept shutting off at a stop and could not be stopped with a button like my own car. Overall, it was a good experience, we just didn’t like the car.
