Staff was good. This time was on time

I booked WOW-air, only to save some money. But, overall it was not cheap. Later on, I discovered nothing included in the tickets, no food, they also asked fees for handbags and luggage as well although I'm traveling from London to states and not inside Europe. Overall, the price was equal to British Airways. Will never pick it

NOTHING.

Cheap flight sounds great...except it’s not actually cheap. Once you add on charges for baggage, seats, water on board, etc., it’s about the price of a standard ticket on a quality airline. (Plus they didn’t actually reserve the seats I paid $20 for, even though I have the receipt). Amenities on board are atrocious. No Wifi, no in flight entertainment (except an iPad you can pay $25 for that features 10 movies from 1992), no USB ports...you even have to pay for water!!! My flight was delayed twice in one week causing me to miss my connecting flights both to my destination and back home by 5 minutes. Because they are not a member of an airline alliance, my only options were to wait until the next day and stay in a shared hotel room or rebook on another airline for $600 which they couldn’t guarantee I would be reimbursed for. The general apathy shown by the staff and lack of communication is abhorrent. The least they could do is apologize and help direct me to somewhere I could find more information. They were positively clueless! Spend a little extra and book on a respectable airline that values their customers...and maybe you won’t be out $1200 (in addition to the cost of the “cheap” tickets) like I am!!

WOW air is one of the most affordable airlines out there. It will get you from point A to point B. But that is about it. If you don't care about comfort, customer service, or delays, then this is the airline for you.

1. The lack of legroom. It should be illegal to pack those seats so close together. I could not sit straight the entire flight because my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me so hard. 2. With the above said, you have the option to pay for larger seats (exit row, etc). So we did that for our return flight home- only to arrive and NOT receive the seats with extra leg room. The airline attendants were not courteous at all regarding this and said because it was a full plane, there was nothing they could do about it other than suggest we email WOW or call their 800 number (and wait a half hour to reach somebody) 3. The flight delays. Read other people's reviews. We sat on the tarmac almost an hour and a half- because a customer was a no-show, they had to find that persons checked luggage and take it off the plane. This is a very poor business decision. First off this costs the airline company tons of money because now you have to reroute passengers who miss their connecting flight- costing new tickets, possible hotels, etc. Second- it is not the airline company's responsibility to move your stuff if you can't make your own flight. Get your stuff shipped back later- at your own cost as this is not the airlines fault you couldn't make your own flight. 4. Limited aneminities. For a 6 hour flight you would think food could be purchased even if you have to pay for it. Nope. We will not fly WOW again. It is not a WOW experience let me tell you.

Can't beat WOW prices! It's no frills (not roomy, upcharges for seat selection, bags, and snacks), but staff is pleasant, plane is clean, communication about delays and meal service is exceptional.

Seats were a bit cramped, and six + hours is a long flight with only snack service. Complimentary water should be an offering.

I thought it odd that the longer flight I had from ORD to KEF was on a smaller less comfortable plane than my shorter trip to DUB. And my luggage decided it wanted to spend more time in KEF than I did, which was a bit of a hassle.

Flight was 2 hours late, causing a missed flight. Baggage took 90 minutes to arrive. The airline provided no info on connections as hundreds of passengers stood around for an hour and then chaos reigned as all rushed to get rebooked in only two lines. Nobody got rebooked until the next day and had to stay overnight in hotels with a voucher that provided only minimal food after a 15 minute walk to a fast food restaurant. the following day we were rebooked to Copenhagen rather than Berlin, with no guarantee of a connecting flight. I was forced to buy another ticket on another carrier in order to make my own wedding.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
