Previous experience with Jet Blue was very positive."
Pros: "The crew was excellent - they did their best in a bad situation and should be commended for that - they let us get out of the plane after learning after we boarding that we would have to wait 2 hours to take off - they let us get out to go to the bathroom and get something to eat and bring back to the plane - it was very cold in the aircraft and there were not enough blankets to go around - additional blankets should be available - the chips that were served once we took off are not sufficient for passengers that were at the airport 2 hours earlier, experienced a 4 hour delay and still face a 3 hour flight- meal arrangements should be offered when passengers are facing such long delays - the free WIFI was a plus and the seats are comfortable"

I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

The Staff were very counties and helpful and did their best."

And even though I was 2 minutes shy of that time, Frontier crew still did not allow me to check in. RIDICULOUS!!! No other airline has this bogus requirement. In addition, Frontier doesn't give an option for rebooking for another day, which may require an additional fee (as other airlines do). The only remedy for missing a flight is moving to Frontier's next scheduled flight (that is, the next day for a trip from Atlanta because Frontier only has one flight leaving Atlanta per day). Of course, this didn't work for me because I needed to be in New York on the day of my scheduled flight. $200 DOLLARS GONE!! In conclusion, I will never book another trip with Frontier. Also, I will never use another source to acquire a ticket because that source may not provide me with certain requirements for the airlines it sells for."

Cons: "I flew from Atlanta to NY and supposedly laguardia airport shut down arrivals because of snow... after circling in the air until the fuel ran out, we landed in Philly and an hour later were informed that it would take at least 3 hours to get into laguardia! That would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that a delta flight left atlanta around the same time and landed in laguardia just fine shortly after we were told that we have to wait. When absolutely no one was there to inform the passengers what to do in terms of getting back on the plane, I just left and took the train home. Not cool frontier! Should have paid a little extra for a more reliable airline"

Adding those $50, price is the same or more expensive than other better airlines. There was no food whatsoever. Almost 4 hr flight and no food....the food they sell is basically snacks...not even a sandwich. The seats are insanely thin and hard. Entertainment? You have to pay for that. Never seen this kind of horrible service. I lost my flight coming back from NY because of the bad weather conditions. The airport was insane, we got off in the middle of the freeway because cars were not moving and started running. I left 3hs30 before my flight and still lost it...thats how crazy it was. Not only they didnt offer any help, they wanted to charge penalty and put me on a flight 4 days from then. Tried calling and explaining, no one cares. Never flying this company again"

I will not be flying Frontier in the future."
Cons: "A family of 4 with 2 small children sat behind my colleague and I on a 6:30am flight from ATL to LGA. There were 2 small children who disrupted my entire flight. Constant banging on the back of our chairs, slapping the trays up and down for 2 hours, slapping the plane windows, etc. After repeated efforts to ask the parents to have their children stop, the parents could care less about the disruptive behavior of their children. Complaints were made to the crew to no avail. The children were disrupting the entire 5 rows around them. These passengers should have paid for my and my colleagues flight, in addition to their flight, as they cause one of the worst experiences on a flight I've ever had. After this flight, I believe there should be a policy that if you have children on a plane, you should be required to pay more, allowing the people around you to pay less or opt out of having to be seated next to a passenger with a child."

MY REQUEST TO MOVE WAS NEVER ANSWERED AND IGNORED. AND, FLIGHT WAS DELAYED DUE TO AN EQUIPMENT ISSUES CAUSING ME TO BE LATE TO A MAJOR EVENT. CHECK IN PROCESS WAS HORRIBLE, LONG AND OTALLY DISORGANIZED. I WILL THINK HARD BEFORE I FLY FRONTIER AGAIN."

Some frontiers are worth exploring. This one holds nothing but shock and dismay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."

They make you pay to pick your seat. You have to pay extra for everything so the bottom line is spirit is probably the most expensive airline to fly. The seats are tiny the trays are tiny, they don’t have TVs, seats do not recline. First and last time Flying with them. My bags were 42 pounds and 46 pounds and I had to pay and additional $30 for each of them."

Next thing I know they are calling for final boarding, last call, even though half the flight didn't make it there yet because they didn't update that the delay was cancelled until minutes before boarding. I understand we all need to take off ASAP, but they've got to understand if everyone was standing at the gate, there would be no room to stand so we all disperse and know we can check our smartphones for updates."

THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HUMAN BEING TO SPEAK WITH IN PERSON on their telephone contact number, no matter what button you push. The transaction didn't post on my credit card, so I assumed it did not go through. I bought another ticket. Five days later they put both tickets through. that's it I am done with this cluster F$%K airline."

When you go back they help you by charging you $55 to carry it on board rather than the $50 check in price."

Cons: "Flight was delayed three times then cancelled and no reason was given. Everyone on the flight was stranded in Orlando overnight and the airline didn't comp any accommodation for a single one of the passengers. The customer service was terrible. Such a mess!!"

I understand as a cheap airline they need to make money on some portion of the passenger to make the ends meet. But they did not inform me before the purchase, if I knew that it will cost extra $55 to bring your own bag, I will not choose this airline, and I know for a fact I am not the first one to find out the extra charges at the airport."

Cons: "First, in Newark Airport I could not figure out where my flight was departing from. The Spirit web site claimed "Gate B41," but when I arrived in that part of Terminal B, there was no sign of Spirit Airlines. All the TV screens and signs were for Delta and United. Others sitting near me were wondering the same thing. Eventually a Spirit Air employee with a portable, rolling yellow stand appeared, and the TV screen on the stand announced our flight. Otherwise, the worst aspect of the airline is that the seats are hard plastic shells that do not recline at all. Taking a carry-on into the plane costs $45 each way. Absolutely no food or beverages are free (even water). You can't mail your boarding pass to your phone. There is no entertainment. This airline is REALLY basic and not comfortable. The sole attraction is low fares."

Cons: "I didn't like the experience up to the point where I got on the plane. First the flight was delayed, these things happen though so I wasn't that upset about it. Then we got there an hour and forty minutes before departure and waited in line for baggage for an hour only to be told we were in the wrong line. Then we were directed to the correct line and waited another 20 minutes for baggage. Thankfully there wasn't a line for the security check and we made it to the gate with 5 minutes to spare. Needless to say we will never be flying this airline again."

Also, the planes are very outdated, for the way they are charging for every little move you make at least spirit should spend the extra money on upgrades."
