The pilot was great st explaining the flint and not where we were.

They forgot my gluten free meal and didn’t tell me until I was on the plane. Can we count on you to feed us? Apparently not. How can an airline forget a meal for a passenger? Especially in such a long flight?

We were late to bord, therefore we were 1 late for rake off, on top of that a passagenger got sick on the plane and the way the staff managed the situation was very poor. Missed my connection. Hade a very bad experience, and more likely, I will not fly or recomend Copa

En Cancún el sr. Que nos atendió en el counter fue bastante grosero Nos trato muy mal inclusive nos iba a enviar a hacer la fila de nuevo por q mi maleta pensaba 2 kilos más. Le dijimos que solo traíamos dos maletas y nos dijo eso no es mi problema ud puede traer 10 maletas pero ninguna con sobre peso. Como se nota que ud nunca viaja me dijo. Son 107 dólares si quiere llevar su equipaje y si no de una déjelo acá en Cancún y váyase ud para Costa Rica. Ni esposo tivo que ir por otra maleta para poder viajar pero no me gusto la forma en que se burló de nosotros y la manera en que nos trató

Todo estuvo realmente bien con una excepción.

Cuando abordé el avión me di cuenta de que el espacio sobre uno no es necesariamente el espacio designado para su maleta de mano, ya que uní puede guardar su maleta en el espacio sobre otra persona; sujeto a la voluntad del pasajero o la disponibilidad del espacio en el compartimiento. Creo que cada pasajero debería llevar su equipaje de mano justo sobre su asiento para evitar desorden, mal entendidos o que se pierda equipaje de mano entre la confusión.

American refused to board me becouse LAN did not send the reservation to AA system. Flight was full and AA did not even talk with me about what to do. They just unloaded my bag allready checked to MIA.. After two hours standing at LAN counter they changed my flight to Lima and than to Miami. I came to Miami 12 hours late, very disappointed by this service. According to AA my ticket was never confirmed by the airline !! How can you sell it to customer ??

The only decent point was the food. Not great but at least edible.

Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!

They said that we need to paid them the baggage’s and didn’t want to solve the situation. Be Aware if you book a trip with this two airline as you will finish paying twice the baggage fees. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!

Counter people were nice and helpful. The boarding was fast. Food and entertainment were great. Crew was respectful and nice. The airplane was comfortable.

Only one of them three check in machines was working. However I told someone and he said he was going to take care of that. Besides that everything was great.

Everything. We have flown over 6 flights with Avianca this month. Every single one of them was delayed or cancelled. Not one apology. Not one upgrade. Nothing. We missed 4 days out of our family vacation due to Avianca's terrible service and airline. We went to 3 different offices and called the call center 3 times, we sent 4 emails to no response. Do not fly with them ever.

The guy at the check in counter was awesome, even though his English wasn't great. He upgraded me to the exit row seats since my legs are long; usually you need to pay for this. The seats were huge and comfortable, though the arm rests didn't move, so you could stretch out (the flight wasn't that full).

One flight attendant was basically rude to everyone. She was so comically unfriendly that people on the plane were actually mocking her (for good reason). She refused to explain to us how the emergent slide worked. We asked because the visual instructions on the door were different from those in the seat back pamphlet. In fact, I still don't know which directions are the correct ones (they were contradictory).

1. The ground attendant in Caracas was very nasty towards my wife and me, so much that she assigned our seats in different rows. 2. Upon arrival in Valencia we had to wait over 5 hora due to a late arrival plane from Curaçao with passengers for Bogota.

At the time to pick up bags it was very confusing, people saying it was on a different band, information was not clear and my bag was already in the floor, for a long time. Very confusing how people on the ground have different information to what the screens are saying

The plane/Pilot got us home.

The seats were old and uncomfortable. The plane was old and had the drop down video screens. This was terrible- we couldn’t see the one closest to us, only the one further away. But any words on the further one, we couldn’t read. The staff on the plane were rude and made us seem like we’re a bother and unwelcome. We were scared to ask for anything.

Free movies, and crew were helpful once we were in the air

Gate agent did not start forcing check in, which caused delay in boarding. Ground crew did not stock aircraft until 20 minutes after scheduled departure time. and DFW did the usual 20 minute taxi and then 15 minute hold prior to take off.
