The seats were comfy enough & wifi was free along with tv. The flight itself was smooth and the flight crew address any possible issues beforehand. The crew was on-point with the routine but they had really great customer service. I usually don't think of JetBlue when looking to book but they are really winning my business. Great job overall."

So with saying that I went to the airport with out a set number think my family and I would get bumped, even if the email said they never over book their flight,this was my first time flying jet blue I wasn't going to trust an email so the hole time I was worried about that when I should have been enjoying my last day on vacation."

Other planes who were scheduled to leave after us got to leave earlier than us so I don't know what happened there. After I was finally on the plane my headphone jack would not work. I know it's not my headphones because I had just used it before boarding for both my Nintendo and computer. Also, the buttons for the TV are on the armrest and if you try to get comfortable you'll change the channel. When the flight attendant came around she just propped a bunch of stuff in front of us and since it was dark I had no idea what I was looking at, ended up getting a very crappy bag of chips. Overall was a terrible experience flying JetBlue."

Cons: "An individual who was very overweight sat next to me and took up half of my seat as well. I understand we all deserv to ride comfortably and my intent is not to shame them. That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something."

When I asked the person at the desk what gate I was to board at, he looked up the information as if I was asking him for the access code Chase's bank vault. He didn't even write it down even thought he had a pen in his hand. Apparently, at customers, we are not suppose to get this information and it's a burden on the employees to give it. Again the flight was late and while I know it was due to weather, we were seated in the plane and sat at the gate for more than an hour. Apparently, we were not cleared to be given an update. Once again, the speakers at the seat didn't work. Apparently, this is a constant problem with JetBlue"
Pros: "Onky 1 flight attendant did a wonderful job seeing to everyone's safety & needs in a courteous way with a beautiful smile. Plane was delayed due to weather & she handed out water as we sat in the plane waiting for the storm to pass. When finally off the ground she managed to serve drinks to all & pass out an assortment of goodies from which we could choose. Southwest simply gave out pretzels on one trip & peanuts on another. Thanks for the selection Jet Blue! She did all this single handedly during a pretty quick flight."

And there were not enough plugs / ports for all who needed to recharge. The overhead storage was pretty tight too, I really had to turn & shove my small-ish luggage into place."

Pros: "The crew was great, and so was a JetBlue pilot dead-heading in the seat next to me. I liked the space in the MoreSpace seat I paid for. I relieved that the upgrade seat came with boarding in the first group. Some airlines you pay for the seat, but you're still group 3 or 4 and, meaning all sorts of anxiety about the most miserable part of any flight, the dreaded fight for the overhead bins, wondering it you'll have to check the bag and then wait for it at the destination. Thank you for removing that."
Cons: "I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !"
Cons: "I was delayed half a dozen times, only to be canceled. Rescheduled on a flight that was scheduled to depart two hours before the original flight. Rescheduled after an hour hold. That flight was delayed the following day. Was diverted to Baltimore only to find out only some of us on our flight are getting out by a rude agent. Then no information at all. Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled."

Hard armrests, weirdly shaped bucket seats which are appalling in any other position than straight up with 90 degree waist bend. Thats not how humans sit for extended periods of time. A 5 degree recline is not a recline; its a joke. At least the tray table was bigger than my phablet, unlike Spirit where the napkins look like tablecloths on these ‘tables’. Overall, it is better than the cheapest airlines."
Cons: "One of the main reasons why I chose Jetblue its because it is an ALMOST 4-5 star experience with great affordable ticket prices. Unfortunaltelly the ALMOST it is so, due such an important role such a host/hostess at the airport representing so poorly the company, EVERY TIME I leave from fortlauderdale airport. Once the check-in kiosk fails to complete to check you in (and I am ok with machines poor work) you are directed to a crew members in the counters. A host/hostess from jetblue standing in front of the counters, instead of greet you properly or showing some sort of degree of willingness to welcome you or help you tell you "yes, what do you need... ? That never fails! It feels like you are breaking in into a zone you are not suppose to be, and annoyingly you are disturbing these people. It so confusing why they have those attitudes, specially at that position, where you really need to clear up the bad weed in choosing your personnel. I think these few"crew members" can make a smooth transition to nightclub bouncers, where I'm sure will be a great fit."

I frustrated with this decision at late hours . I asked full consideration of all the difficulty situation and the turbles they put me ."

The screen on my iPhone is bigger than the screen on the seatback which if compared to other airlines is not up to the mark. The lack of facilities to charge things like ipads or iPhone was disappointing."

Cons: "There was no entertainment available on this flight. It's a short flight so I don't expect any, however, I continued on to Phoenix that day from Chicago and that is a long flight. I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you."

No information provided ahead of time, to alert me to arrive at the boarding gate early for the extra screening. After I passed through the extra security screening at the gate in Munich, and then went to the counter to complete the extra passport check and security questions, I was asked to step aside and wait. No one told me why. I had to insist on an explanation to the airline staff, and realized there was a mistake - they thought I had not gone through the extra security screening before going to the passport check counter, but I had. This created extra stress and delay for me, as this took place when boarding had started. Respectfully, I suggest that staff is more communicative."

Doing away with basic economy or just giving those who buy those tickets the basic rights that should come with an airline ticket should be considered. How can you deny someone a seat if they bought a ticket months ahead of time? What if I wasn't lucky and couldn't get a seat? Wait until the next flight hours later and get put on a waitlist there too? Something needs to change."

The doors close 10 mins before even if it was the next gate the door would have been shut. Had to reschedule flight for not the same day or the next day but two days later! During flight my inflight drink was evening coffee and tasted old as if it had been sitting for a while. Was sat next to a sick ER nurse who was coughing and sneezing in and around the open cup. I was sick for 8 and half days following the flight."

I had a layover in Chicago and did not receive any notification that my flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I went to each desk to try and find an associate and no one was available to help the several individuals wondering how to get switched to a new flight. All of us were just given a phone number to call. Once I found someone thy told me that there was no seats available on any of the flights. They found one seat on a plane that was going to laguardia instead of my destination of Newark and then proceeded to tell me that my bags will still go to Newark and it was my job to make sure I filed to get them. (Same thing happened the last time I flew with United) I'm very disappointed all together with how I was treated as a customer."

It was outrageous and completely ruined the flight for me. I realize this has nothing to do with the flight but it just made me feel so crumby and attached that I felt the need to share it. Also the leg room was a joke. We barely had any room to move. I probably won't fly coach on united again due to the bad taste it left in my mouth. Unfortunate because it's hub is in chicago."

The seat trays a a third of the normal size, about the size of my iPhone. The flight was delayed for over two hours and no one seemed to know why. Even the pilots announced they had no idea. At the gate, the info screens were all wrong, for instance my flight was showing I was going to San Francisco when I was actually going to Chicago. The plane creaked and groaned and truly made me feel unsafe. I will never ever fly with them again."

Both tickets were about the same price; both flights were at about the same time of day, and were filled about the same (almost full). But the experience with Spirit was atrocious. They take every opportunity to upsell on their website and at the kiosk (Frontier upsells too, but modestly and not in-my-face). The boarding area was messy and the boarding process was rushed and disorganized (Frontier's was...normal). And the Spirit crew was surly and unhelpful (again, the Frontier crew was...normal). Frontier is everything I expect in a cheap ticket: just plain, normal, pleasant, service."

Cons: "They put us on a broken plane and it took 2.5hrs to fix and get us in the air. Offering a high rate credit card with miles on it is not at all acceptable."

We didn't like the fact that they charge for all food and drink and don't even offer a complimentary beverage like most other airlines."

That alone makes me not want to ever pursue Frontier flights b/c it seems cheap on the front end but then at the airport you realize it's just as much and you have to pay something you weren't intending. Also, it's a bummer there's no complimentary beverage on board. So it just seems Frontier doesn't have the standards one has gotten use to with other airlines."
Cons: "Keep in min someone else bought my ticket. However, is was ridiculously priced. Then you have to pay for carry on bag which is ridiculous and costs more than a checked bag. On the flight there were no tvs. No big deal because I don't feel like giving them more money. However, you don't even get water or anything to drink. So I sat there suffering with a dry throat the entire time. My friend asked for a cup of ice and they wanted $2. On top of that we hoarded the plane well after we were supposed to be already in the air."

They took everyone off the plane and we had to wait 2 hours for the reserves to show up. Everyone that had connecting flights missed their flights, and it all boiled down to scheduling errors, where frontier scheduled too many hours for their pilots. Should've been corrected long before the flight."

You're going to pay the same, if not more, in the end as a United, Delta, or American ticket and they don't charge a fee for a carry on. Also, they have a actual cushioning on their seats not just hard plastic covered in padding. I've been on roller coasters that are more comfortable."

Once we arrived we took more than half hour to get to the gate. My husban had a panic attack because it took way toooo long"

Cons: "We spent 15 minutes taxi-ing off and on the runway. Baggage was sent out 27 minutes after passengers left the aircraft. My seat was at the end of the aircraft, and I had to pay extra for that, and had sticky gum all over it. When I told the flight attendant, she said, oh no, really? The flight attendant did nothing to help me be reaseated or clean my seat. After a passenger vomited, the flight attendant did not help the passenger by providing anything to cleanup. The aircraft stank of vomit as we sat in the runway for 15 minutes. The flight attendants woke me up to sell their credit card, but not to provide refreshments/water. The announcements went on for over 10 munutes. My seat was surrounded by screaming and crying infants and nothing was done to help those mothers calm their children down. The seats had very little leg room for anyone my height and taller (5'9"), despite having to pay for the seat. I will not fly Frontier ever again. The upfront low price doesn't reflect the baggage, carry-on, and seat add-on fees, so it's very deceiving."

Pros: "Boarding was very fast and smooth. The flight was very lightly filled so guests were allowed to sit wherever they wanted. The flight staff was very friendly and the plane was clean. The plane landed earlier than scheduled at the destination and we were able to exit the plane immediately."

Cons: "I don't like that they don't offer a free beverage during the flight. I believe the water is free, but you have to pay for a soft drink. I can totally understand a charge for alcoholic beverages and snacks, but c'mon... Additionally, the boarding process for my return flight was a bit disorganized. Instead of asking for one Zone at a time, like they did the first time I flew, they asked for Zone 1... then said, "Zone 1, 2, and 3." This made everyone rush up and clutter the area around the gate. That was silly of them to call all the Zones at the same time."
Cons: "It wasn't the flight although it very tight quarters. Also had to pay more for carry on baggage and also had to pay for the check in baggage therefore, I had to pay $85. more than I expected. I wanted to rent a car. I had never rented a car before. Expedia rented my car at 10 am and I didn't get to Orlando until 11 pm. They had already rented my car, so they charged for a bigger car. The ol bate and switch. I was in a pickle, so instead of paying $57. I had to pay $238. Therefore my inexpensive trip sure was very expensive."

Cons: "They didnt offer free refreshments and that surprised me. I was not aware that I had to pay for my carry on. I fly frequently and would have paid a bit more to go with an airline that offered refreshments and 1 free carry on and a personal item. But instead my flight ended up be 2 times as much as with another airline. That really bummed me out because my budget it very tight."
Cons: "PAYING FOR A CARRY-ON?! That's bad form. Paying for sit down after we have already bought tickets? Just be up front with your costs. Thankfully I called the airline and was told if I didn't pay for a seat, one would be assigned for me on my boarding pass. I was not going to pay even more to actually sit on the flight. Two flight attendants ignored me and when they came to our seats they wouldn't even look at me when I smiled at them and was curious about food. I saw it done to other passengers too. I was extremely disappointed by that. Furthermore, Frontier needs to know how long the flight is going to be. Don't be guessing and then be surprised there is no gate available for you. I was told the flight will be 3 hours and it was advertised as such. In the end it was only 2. That in itself is fine, but where was the organization of the company when planning the flight, especially since the flight itself was smooth overall. I just found it weird. The seats were nice and clean. At least the captain updated us when he could. That, I appreciated. Overall, not the best airline but they'll safely get you fro point A to point B and for that I am thankful."

Cons: "Maintenance issues. We had to wait to board due to a faulty seat. Then, once we boarded, we waited as the flight attendants were not able to arm the back door. Two maintenance workers attempted. Not sure if they were able to arm it, but we ended up taking off. A bit of a safety concern with passengers around me. Perhaps the pilot should have addressed the situation with the passengers and let them know that it was resolved for reassurance."

Also, the pilot did not give enough updates on the delay leaving many of the passengers wondering what was going on and when they were actually going to be able to get off the plane."

It's a small plane company, but things need to be more organized."
