First we got an email telling the flight was delayed by and hour and twenty mins or so. While we were trying to kill time at home coz of the delay we accidentally saw the time was back to original time on the app. But this reset of delay back to original did not reflect in google or any other apps where it originally showed the delay. We had to rush to airport and then realize the time as changed back to original price. And at the time of boarding my name was not showing up at the time of boarding in the computer. They were trying to find me with my booking number but I’m already checked in and they have the details. I was there like 6 - 7 minutes while they were trying to find my details and was not able to find me. Finally they found my details and did not give me an explanation what happened. And finally we were inside and one of the air hostess was very rude to us. The whole experience was not good.

My wife, 2 year old son, and I was boarding at the gate and they couldn't scan my son's boarding pass. They quickly went over to the computer station and gave my son another pass. We went to our seats and found out someone else is in our 2year old seat. Apparently they gave the seat to someone else at the last second because up to the point when I printed our boarding passes at the kiosk, our seats were still together (and I paid $41/per seat extra to try to keep us together). The other customer was nice enough to switch with our son so were able to stay together at the last min so it goes to show AA priority and service."

On my return from Brisbane, American Airlines had cancelled my flight to Atlanta as they said I was a 'no show' heading out. Thankfully I was able to get a seat on stand by. I will never fly this airline again and I will advise every single person I know to fly a different airline."

My last return flight from SLC to ATL was over 2 hrs delayed and by the time we arrived, the airport was closed. We had to be hussled out a back door (just tough if anyone had to use the bathroom), down a flight of stairs and across some distance to wait to be loaded ont to busses with wet seats , then driven to baggage claim. This time, the train closed down at T gates and we were detoured down to south terminal baggage claim...but needed to be in north baggage claim. Furthermore, the baggage crew must have taken a break in the middle of unloading bags. I waited nearly ONE HOUR for my bag, and there were still a good 30 or more passengers waiting for theirs when I got mine."

Cons: "The pilots were late so we sat on the plane in Denver 1.5 hours before take off at 1:30 am. Otherwise, it was good, especially considering the price. Thank you!!"

I might as well fly spirt at least I know up front that I have to pay for something that's already with me. Very frustrating on a return flight."

Their game is to have very low flight prices, but what they don't tell you is you get additional charges, including for your CARRY-ON and to choose your seat in q cabin. Getting home at 6am and having to take a quick nap, shower, and be to work at 8:30! All because Frontier cared more about one team than all of its other passengers!! I'll bet they won't hold a flight for me!!!"

Cons: "Almost missed my flight because there were so few attendents at the baggage drop. I waited 38 minutes just to drop my bag (excluding wait time to lrint my boarding pass). The attendents were rude. I was charged 40 dollars for a carry on bag. The seats were horrifically uncomfortable. I was given half a cup of water only on the flight. The lights were on and bright throughout the entire overnight flight. The seats don't decline, nor do they have much cushioning. Honestly, everything was so disorganized that when it came tome to land, I was scared it might be the last breath of my life because the quality of servuce had been so bad, I wasn't sure if the pilot was even certified to be a pilot. Luckily, I did not die. I will never fly Frontier again and am far less likely to use Kayak because of this horrible flight."

Plus, yes plus another charge to select a seat. Super dumb and honestly a bit childish. Put your entire price online and let people pick. Also note zero wifi. I know you're a lower tear airlines but it's 2016! Give the people the all in price and if you won't give them entertainment or wifi make worth their wild. Also note, the tray table was about the size of a tablet, I couldn't even use my computer to do local work during the flight. I appreciate the safe flight but from a high level: 1: make your online prices more transparent. 2: if you're going to be lower tear, make it clear that wifi and infighting entertainment isn't included. People will still choose to fly cheap, but to burry hidden charges is horrible."

Cons: "I did not realize they charged for carryon, so was charged $40 at the gate. So much for an excellent fare. Was not aware Frontier had changed to a "no frills" airline. It was also annoying to have advertising for their credit card, but a lot of airlines do this and it is equally annoying. Everything was a cost, even water. Well, now I know and can make more informed decisions before traveling with them again."

Pros: "This is in no way a bad relection on Frontier. Kayak sold me the tickets for a certain price and when I started to check in for my flight I had to pay additional for seats and carry on luggage. I ended up paying $102 more for two people on my one way reservation the night before the flight. Kayak should at least make their customers aware that this will happen as it is a lot of money!!!! The flight itself was on time, with a curteous and funny crew. No complains there."

Cons: "Newer but very hard seats. I'm 6'2" and the seats didn't recline and my knees were hitting the seat in front of me...a lot. On a red eye flight, this was torturous. The seat backs did not go high enough for my head either. The flight was delayed 40 minutes as well."
Absolutely everything about this flight experience was awful. My flight was initially cancelled due to Hurricane Ida, but at no point did I feel the customer service was aimed at helping me find a way home to New Orleans. My flight was then changed again last minute without any warning or timely communication, removing me from the flight altogether and rescheduling me, (again, without my consent or knowledge) for a flight to Baltimore for the next day. Still trying to figure out why they thought that was a good choice, taking me even further away from my originally planned destination and now devastated home. The gate agents were overwhelmed with the number of disgruntled and confused passengers (I was not the only one who was switched to a different flight without consultation) and were frankly unprepared for the number of passengers who now needed assistance, further delaying the boarding process & flights for everyone onboard. I learned my lesson trying to save a few extra bucks. I will never fly Spirit again.

Cons: "This was hands down the worst managed flight ever! They delayed the plane something like 8 times. Always just 30 or 45 minutes so you couldn't leave and go do something. Finally we boarded 6 hours late. 55 minutes into the turned us around and sent us back to FL. So basically, everything."

Surely the airline could stock a few gallons of water for dehydrated passengers? The cost of my two bags would have covered bottled water for everyone on the flight."

I will have to assess whether I am saving money and if the confusion is worth saving a few dollars."

Also, the staff didn't seem to care. They just blamed the weather in Philadelphia, when we checked the weather there its was 83 and sunny. When we talked to the staff about it they changed there reason and they finally told us the truth; which was a staffing issue. I guess the previous flight crew decided they had enough and they didn't want to fly to Minneapolis."

Cons: "Spirit is hands down the worst airline I have ever flown on. We thought we had found a steal of a flight for $180 from Philadelphia to Ft. Lauderdale until we found out that they literally charge you extra for every single other thing. Just to pick our 2 seats round trip cost us another $56. Checking bags both ways was another $168. Then while checking in, we were charged $30 for an "overweight" bag. Every single other airline has a 50 pound limit, but once again spirit found a way to be cheap and sub-par with a 40 pound limit. Luckily we managed to avoid their $100 carry on fee for if your bag doesn't meat they're incredibly small limit. Oh and their app, which every single other airline allows you to download for free, is $5. Once aboard the plane, the seats are made of hard plastic with barely any cushioning and the seat back tray won't even hold anything larger than a beverage. There is also no on-flight entertainment offered. This has been a learning experience to say the least. Suffice to say, I will never fly with Spirit Airlines again. They are incredibly cheap and try to nickel and dime you for every little thing. 2 thumbs WAY down."

I also had to leave my luggage with customs to make it, and your girl Ebony in baggage claim in ATL got it back to me in a day! You guys turned a truly frustrating situation with Norwegian into a smooth transition. Thank you so much!"

Overall, as a first time Spirit flyer I have no plans of flying with them again. Similarly, now I know why people always fly Delta!"

When we landed in Atlanta at 2:30 in the morning, the trains were out of service and we all had to walk from the last gate in the last concourse to baggage claim. The customers are ignorant, fussing and bickering, getting smart with other flight attendant, who's doing her job. I thought it was about to cause another delay. I thought the cheap fare was a deal but this makes the saying "you get what you pay for", true. Never again will I go near this airline. I think the cheap flight attracts a class of people that otherwise would never fly. My flight home on Southwest was excellent, only 13 more with free bags. Spirit charges cheaper prices online than at the counter and higher prices than quoted during booking. I'm done. 5 thumbs down is what this airline gets."
