Cons: "With the plane fully booked I wound up having to gate check my carry on bag. This was not overly upsetting or anything terrible but it did cost me almost 20 extra minutes at baggage claim which resulted in my ride parking the car and then having to pay the parking fee."

Cons: "Three delays. From takeoff time of 9:50 to 10:40 to 11:23 to 12:05. The ostensible delay was the incoming plane, which landed before 10 PM but - lo and behold, it was an international flight, surely something we didnt know when it took off - it went to gate 94 and had to be cleared blah blah blah. Each delay was predictable and JetBlue could easily have simply informed the passengers that we would be delayed 90-120 minutes rather than stringing us along with bite sized delays with insipid explanations. If there was really anything to JetBlues "award winning customer service" I would imagine they would have not insulted everyone's intelligence and been honest about the delays - which pushed arrival time to 2 am. I travel a good bit - three or four times a month - but cant remember the last time I flew JetBlue. JetBlue will certainly be right there with Frontier and Allegiant on airlines I'll seek to avoid. I dont know if it was just base level incompetence or if they dialed it up for the occasion, but it was on full display for the holidays."

I never found the remote until end of flight because the woman next to me covered the entire arm rest with her body. Seats not big enough for large sized people. I’m not skinny but thin enough to occupy one seat. An expensive seat for one way air fare over $300+ Orlando ti Newark. Left hotel at 11:30 am and landed after 8:00pm. Home just before 10:00 pm. A long. day"

Boarding was disorganized and not by priority. Gate agents allowed passengers bull rush the gate and allowed line cuts. They lost control."

Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

The attendants gave us little information on flight alternatives and when the flight was finally allowed to board again, they did not announce it and so had I not been waiting close by, I would have missed my flight. It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that if you're cold on the flight unless you're flying first class, you're subject to freeze the entire ride to your next destination. I was told " we only have blankets for 1st class boarding only". So my economy class is not expensive enough to be comfortable and warm on our trips as we'll. I think its very ridiculous, and immature that because I fly a different class of flight im subject to be very uncomfortable the rest of my flight. Someone should do something about this prejudice rule against flyers."
Ventilation for a newer plane was very poor. Despite turning up strength, it was as strong as waving ones hand for coolness.

They make you pay to pick your seat. You have to pay extra for everything so the bottom line is spirit is probably the most expensive airline to fly. The seats are tiny the trays are tiny, they don’t have TVs, seats do not recline. First and last time Flying with them. My bags were 42 pounds and 46 pounds and I had to pay and additional $30 for each of them."

That’s an extra $100 that could have been used to purchase a flat rate flight through Kayak. • You can only pay with a card, you can barely use cash Flight • Seating was too tight, no room to stretch out • Snacks even the minimum was expensive. $4 for a 4 oz of juice with ice and more • When descending for landing the pilot circled around for a full hour- first we were over the incorrect airport then when we arrived at the correct airport there was too much air traffic to land right away. Between the surprise fees I did not budget for and the extra GS expenses, along with everything else, I will not ride Soirit Airlines again."

Cons: "Need updates and alerts on delayed flight!! I was checking my phone every 15 minutes from the restaurant next to the gate, reloading the status page, and the status that it changed from delayed two hours to taking off now happened within a 10 minute window. Next thing I know they are calling for final boarding, last call, even though half the flight didn't make it there yet because they didn't update that the delay was cancelled until minutes before boarding. I understand we all need to take off ASAP, but they've got to understand if everyone was standing at the gate, there would be no room to stand so we all disperse and know we can check our smartphones for updates."
