The breakfast, one piece of poundcake, that was the only highlight, and one decent size bathroom.
Boarding was unorganized, nobody knew what was going on, but the biggest disappointment is there were no movies there are no video screens on the entire plane so unless you bring your own device and have pre-downloaded Air Canada app there are no entertainment options at all! Who ever heard of a transatlantic flight that didn't have a movie? Make sure you download the app so you can at least watch the movies on your tiny screen.
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
AA changed my flight plans which resulted in a 4.5 hour layover in Philly. The gates were filthy, there is not much selection for in-flight food and nothing for entertainment. I couldn't even find an outlet that worked at the gate.
My connecting flight was way late, but the plane was held for me and a few others in Denver. Because it was the last flight of the evening I don't know what I would have done if left at the airport indefinitely. I am grateful the plane was held. And regret any inconvenience this may have caused others.
How a flight scheduled for 0700 is then 2355. No notice. Not even on the next direct flight. $100 later in shuttle fees and we are on scheduled to fly out at 11:45 today, we lost out of a day and a half with family AND we now do not have preferred seating. No one will take responsibility for the lack of communication. We booked our flight in June as this was an important occassion,, think that should be ample time to contact us of any changes. AND they wouldn't pit us on the 11:45 flight yesterday as only one seat. Oh, and this was all over the phone, no customer service or air line employee at the airport.
