We were told there was no overhead bin space left for carry-ons, but once we boarded the plane, several overhead bins were completely empty (to our bewilderment). We left late. The wifi was spotty.

Tried to purchase internet access, several times. Went into a loop when I entered credit cards (tried two different ones). Flight attendant suggested I clear my caches, and restart. I did. No help. Frustrating, as I was unable to productive. Wasted five hours. Not a happy camper.

The flight attendants were not very pleasant and seemed downright annoyed at times. They were not overly helpful in organizing the overhead bins, and chaos ensued as passengers who boarded last were trying (without much assistance from the crew) to find spots for their bags. Also - there was apparently a "tipping emergency" at JFK that disrupted disembarking for all of us who were seated mid-to-rear plane. The staff did NOT do a very good job communicating this concern and were seemingly frustrated with passengers who were having trouble following directions. Thankfully the plane did NOT tip at the tail. I was very dissatisfied with the flight attendants and ground crew for this flight.

The staff was very rude. The seat was uncomfortable. The crew was not helpful at all. I did not enjoy my flight.

Pros: "Service and overall cleanliness etc. was very smooth, good and clean. I sat in seat 1A both ways and as the first person to get on and off the flight found the process well laid out, easy, clean and smooth. I also got to witness the boarding process from inside while seated. Very professional and courteous all the way. The first class cabin was sparsely filled with ample space between us and based on how many people I saw getting on, I think the rear cabin must've been sparsely filled as well. More on the comfort aspect in the "what would have been bettter section" ... in short, the seats are the weakest link in the chain."
Cons: "My only gripe is about the seats fitted in first class for this Alaska Air leg (JFKSFO). Like most, my travel frequency has dropped so much that I can finally afford to pay full fare first for the few times I do need to travel. I expect that this will more likely be the norm than not and hope/expect that more among us who can afford to pay extra for the additional comfort, do so. The airline industry will need to keep that segment to get ahead of this seismic shift in travel patterns that 2020 has brought upon all of us. I was hoping to just sleep through it. I normally sleep well/easily on flights (at times, "too well"!) but could not do so on this leg. The seats in first class are just not meant for sleeping and are thus limited in their positioning ... brief napping is the best you can do - carry your entertainment/work or plan on meditating while fully awake. The base is for all intent and purposes, immovable (maybe a couple of inches back and forth at best). There is no concept of a foot rest in the design. The back locks into one of two positions - a vertical one for take-off/landing and a second one tilted about 15 degrees or so. That makes it impossible to stretch the body out while fully supported - so hard to go into relaxed/deep sleep for those who wish to do so. The front passenger seat of a common car offers more for a five hour road trip - something to ponder on, eh? Upgrade the seats ...the extra investment will pay for itself quickly in this age of reduced travel as you'll attract more of those who are lucky to be able to pay a little more to fly in comfort for the few times that they need to. Additionally, sleeping passengers are often the easiest/cheapest to service!"

That’s when I want to and did say something to certain individuals and made them wait. But this is the flight crew’s responsibility, not the passenger’s."
Cons: "I don't normally leave reviews, but words really can't describe the nightmarishness of what should have been a quick four hour flight from San Francisco to Washington. Seats for my wife and I were not where I had reserved. Plane had one working lavatory for a cabin of 150 economy passengers. This resulted in a line that stretched the entirety of the single aisle of the plane for the majority of the flight. The second toilet simply had a piece of paper with sharpie that read "DO NOT USE!!" There were two attendants, one of whom wore a t-shirt and was mostly indistinguishable from the passengers. Didn't get so much as a cup of water until over two hours into the four hour flight. No snack, but that's the least of my complaints really. The attendants spent most of the flight in the back of the plane discussing their new vacation lottery and where they were going to go out drinking when we landed–I know because the rear of the plane was where I ended up, forced to smell the single working toilet, in a seat that didn't recline."

First time flying JetBlue, and was impressed. The planes were clean, new and high tech. There was free WiFi on my cross country flight. I will fly again.

Every aspect of my jet blue experience was outstanding. Not only did everything go smoothly, but the jet blue employees went above and beyond to make sure passengers were happy. Jet blue will always be my first choice for airline travel.

The man who helped wheel me out of the plane at JFK was very considerate as well and asked if I wanted to go to the restroom before going out to the gate. He wheeled me all the way to the car where my husband was waiting. Every member of the Jet Blue staff I met this weekend was exemplary. If I can help it I will always fly Jet Blue when I fly nationally."

A large group of teens were crowding the boarding gate which delayed us even further and were disruptive so it was difficult to hear cues for boarding. I arrived 4 hours later than scheduled, missing an appointment. At the request of the gate agent, I volunteered for free gate-checked luggage due to a very full flight. My bag was never checked and was delivered 14 hours after I had arrived home. 12:30 AM. Crew of the plane was excellent, and the flight itself was thankfully uneventful."

Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly."

This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Pros: "Boarding in St Thomas is always a mess, no matter what airline you fly. I usually fly Delta because the planes are clean and the people are nice. Well this time the staff went well above and beyond. My friend and I were sitting in the front row of seats in the lounge at the airport, facing the Delta gates. There was a mob of people milling about between us and the gate, so we could not see very well, but we thought we had a clear view of the door. Also it was very loud in the terminal. The flight had a delay, so we were relaxing and chatting, when I got a text from my mom asking if I was on the plane. So I went to the counter to inquire if they had started boarding our flight. The lady looked at me with surprise and said, "We have been paging you!!". Well we were both surprised! We had not heard anything over the general din in the airport. It turns out they had completed boarding and already rolled the stairs away from the plane! The ground staff talked to the captain and then they rolled up a set of stairs, opened the door to the plane, and let us on! The flight attendants said that they had never seen that happen before. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the crew at Delta for going the extra mile to make sure we made it on our flight."

Cons: "I understand delays happen, but Delta delayed the flight significantly and only informed customers around the time they had arrived at the airport - especially for an early morning flight, where you are counting on being able to sleep on the plane ASAP, that is absolute hell. If they had messaged even 30 mins earlier, we could have rescheduled our cab and slept at the hotel given we were on 2 hours sleep. We received the text 3 minutes before we arrived at the airport and tried to sleep on benches as the front desk kept delaying the boarding time by 20 minutes 4 times, each time exactly at the previously extended ETD, which is far more frustrating than if they had just extended it once by 80 minutes so we could legitimately relax."

Cons: "While my experience with Virgin Australia was good, I will not book with them due to the co-share with Delta Airlines. I missed my connecting flight from LAX to JFK due to additional security screening. As such I was advised to head to the Delta terminal to be booked onto the next available flight to NYC. After waiting over an hour in line to be seen by a staff member, I was told that they couldn't change my ticket as it was a Virgin flight. The same staff member didn't seem to even understand the concept of 'co-share', and also told me that because I booked through Kayak and not Delta that they could not help me. This makes me think that booking through a third party is a risky move. I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do, and that I would have go to a Virgin Australia Counter. This involved taking all of my luggage from Terminal 5 - all the way to Terminal 3. I was assisted by Virgin Australia, where they apologized for my experience, and confirmed that it was Delta's responsibility (and that they were capable) of rebooking my flight. Virgin booked me onto a later flight, but I still had to walk back to Terminal 5 (Delta) to give them my checked luggage. I was once again told that I didn't have the right ticket (details listed Virgin and Delta flight number - so this was way too confusing for them). Finally they printed my a boarding card and took my bags. I then ran through security and to gate in time for my flight. Flight was fully booked, due to a many people no doubt experiencing the same thing. Food was awful. Was a big step down from the Virgin flight in every aspect. There was not a single Delta Staff member who would even try to understand or be helpful. I will never fly with Delta again."

Apparently the money I paid two months before was no good on this flight. I was traveling with my boyfriend and they would not allow us at the same counter because we were not married. After much haggling we were finally able to rectify the situation. Horrible start. Then, once on the plane, the in- flight entertainment system as well as the lights broke right before take off so there was nothing to watch or see for an almost 8 hour flight."

Would have less waiting for people in front of you to get settled. Wish the last snack had a piece of fruit or something with a bit more healthy aspect."

And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

My seat appeared to have more space than the flight previous to it, so that added a lot more comfort without the extra expense of having to pay for the "more space" seating- I often feel like airlines nickel and dime you to death these days. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw, but the seats had much more legroom than my first flight to Paris as opposed to the return to NY. The flight crew were all courteous and pleasant. Leather seating with readily available pillows and blankets for all was a nice touch as well."

The clerks seemed to be working quite slowly and were quite unconcerned about the growing line. I'm glad I checked in early for my flight!"

THAT flight got delayed AFTER the doors were closed by another 45 minutes which caused me to miss my connection to Fort Myers AND have American Airlines leave my bag in Charlotte. I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"

Cons: "The organization with American Airlines at Charles de Gaulle was absolutely pathetic. I understand it's a busy airport, but NONE of the other airlines had lines like American did. Then by the time you get up to an American airline employee, incompetence was written all over their faces. The straw that broke the camel's back was that they insisted on separating my partner and me while doing security questions, meanwhile other parties who were together were not separated (LGBT discrimination). This pushed us back 10 minutes--we were separated and he was having to wait for me after the questioning to get my bag checked, too. I'll add that we arrived to the airport with over 2 hours to spare before our flight which should have been more than enough time. We probably would have missed the flight if not for a few decent Charles de Gaulle employees who bumped us though lines at customs when they realized the time crunch, no thanks to anyone with American Airlines. I heard so many saying they will not use American Airlines again, and how saving a few dollars was not worth the headache. Flying is already stressful enough, don't make it that much worse."
Pros: "THis was an ok flight. Everything was on time and the crew was hreat. On the other hand, the food was terrible and the check in process was not expedite at all. The American Airlines crew did not know how to handle my G4 visa while checking in and they neglected to mark my bag with the orange ribbon signaling platinum status in American. This is key to getting your luggae faster in baggage claim when you have a short connection (I had less than two hours). This omission caused my suitcase to arrive last, and I had to run to make it to my next flight."

Cons: "Comfort was okay, my seat was on the end of a row with three seats (aisle side) and immediately behind me was a row with only two seats. Without fail, the flight attendants bumped their carts into my chair EVERY time they passed. If I had been trying to sleep, this would be much more of a disturbance to me. Seeing as I was just watching movies and enjoying the food, it wasn't that much of an issue. However, I think it would be easy for the flight attendants to just take a second longer to try to navigate around the chair and not bump it every time. Little things like that go a long way, especially on a long flight."

I was told that they fly an even older plane from Europe to NY, which is an old one aisle plane. Not sure why AA continues to use such out of date planes but if they use planes from the 1980's it seems to me that they should charge 1980 prices!"
