Pros: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

So obviously it took a long time to get all those people through the check and we departed very late. Then sat on the tarmac for an hour and forty five minutes. The pilot said it would be 15 minutes and then never gave another update beyond that, which made it much worse."

Pros: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"

Pros: "When we got to the airport on the way back home, they couldn't find our tickets. I had online tickets and confirmation, but we were still not on the flight list. We had to go to the ticket counter for them to clear it up and put us back on the flight. The flight itself was not bad. The flight attendants are a bit rude and condescending. The seats and entertainment was not bad."

Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

Instead of saying that they will just fix it they blamed us and were very rude to us when they had to fix their mistake. Cons: "Many people on this flight were bothered by the fact that their families were split up all over the airplane and no one could sit together. During boarding there were groups of people who had all been split up and were desperately trying to switch seats with others. I was traveling with a 15 year old, and even though she is not a small child it was very nerve wrecking to be seated 20 rows behind her, not being able to keep an eye on her (even more so because she gets car sick and has thrown up on airplanes before). I don't think I've ever flown where my group was not at least seated in pairs. This was very disappointing."

Cons: "Extremely rude staff (allowed a passenger to almost break my hand luggage with hers, and literally laughed at my concern,) kept us on plane for 2+ hours with minimal info given on the problem, then de-planed and kept us waiting at Warsaw airport for another 2 hours (no food, water or even a manager appeared until the end of that 4 hours, by the way, and only after a screaming mob of passengers formed,) then kept us on the new plane for nearly another 2 hours. This made for an approximate 6 hour delay, with minimal comfort, food, water, info or sympathy throughout, nor an offer to switch our flights and/or provide night accommodation due to the 5+ hour delay on this evening flight (as is within our passenger rights.) The plane finally arrived to JFK way after 1 a.m., which completely ruined weekend work and social plans, not to mention how exhausting and disrespectful of an experience it was. PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY SINGLE OF THE FOUR LOT FLIGHTS I'D UNDERTAKEN THAT WEEK WERE DELAYED IN A SIMILAR FASHION - AS IN, WITH LITTLE INFO OR EXCUSE. No, thanks, Lot - and you should refund us all."

Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Then i had to spend the night in NYC and was unable to go to buffalo unitl the morning after having spent already the whole day in the airport since my first flight didn't take off until about 5 hours after it was scheduled. And now I still do not have my bag, and jet blue says they never got it from LOT airlines"

Cons: "Boarding announcements in Warsaw for the flight to New York were ONLY in Polish. This left many passengers confused. I could understand this if the flight were to a Polish destination. During the flight, intercom announcements overrode the Entertainment System at FULL VOLUME - EVERY TIME. it is as though they wanted to maximize our discomfort. I would not fly with Lot again."

But when they kept us at the gate for another 1.5 hours without any information as to why we were not boarding, I just about lost it. Delays happen. That is not the problem. But the staff was rude and did not inform us about when or if we would be leaving. When asked about missed connections, said they know nothing and the transfer desk will handle that. I was travelling with my cat, so for me it was super stressful. Once we did arrive to JFK, there were no more flights to RDU that night and it took forever and then some to get me a hotel that would accommodate a cat. Just fly another airline."

I have trouble flying and took 3 sleeping pills so I can fly comfortably and now the woman woke me up and I couldn't fall back asleep so she can eat? So horrible. 30 screaming kids on the flight. They served food while I slept so I called the flight attendant 7 times to now bring me food since she woke me up. She never showed up. So no only was I now up, couldn't fall back asleep because of the screaming children but I am SO glad the person behind me are her mean comfortably"

No one takes responsibility. Take Icelandair if you have lots of extra time because nothing is for sure."

Then we finally get on Plane and the entire entertainment system is down. No movies or way to charging phones etc!!!!! For a 6 hour flight that was so frustrating!!!! Then you would think that Icelandair for all the problems would at least comp our meals and drinks!! NOPE!! Pay full price. Flight attendance were great! But we only doing what they were told. I would not take this airline again."

When we explained how difficult it would be to catch another flight to Denver from NY with it being the weekend, and attempting to get a flight to another airport with higher chances of getting us home, their customer service rep informed us that as long as they 'fulfilled their contract' to get us to NY, it wasn't really their problem how we got home (or couldn't get home) after that."

The only thing similar was the departure and arrival times into JFK. I made a long distance call from the UK and got a really obnoxious rep who was very condescending, dismissive and annoyed that I couldn't understand her pronounced accent . When I said, " pardon, could you please repeat that", she was very snippy and snapped at me! No wonder they have such crappy ratings/ reviews. She was absolutely no help whatsoever after I explained that my daughter was visually impaired and HAD to be on the same flight as I, all she told me was that there was no record of the convo I had claimed to have with their rep on 5/28 and then she hung up on me. I looked up saw Captain Hope and told him what had happened. He went back to the access gate and back to my seat and returned with my cell phone. I was shocked. What Captain does that? This guy is great and was a positive reflection on British Airways. What made it more special is we were in France during the attacks and if I didn't have my cell phone I wouldn't have been able to keep in touch with my family to let them know I was okay. The best AA could do was book me on a slightly later flight out of another airport. They refused to offer compensation or travel vouchers of any sort. So I paid for a long taxi drive from one airport to another and arrived at British Airwarys check-in to be told that they hadn't actually booked me on the next flight. The woman working at the counter went above and beyond her duty to try to help, but couldn't rebook me until late that night. I arrived at my destination more than 12 hours later than my original flight was supposed to arrive, and it was too late to get a refund on ticket for the train I missed and the hotel I couldn't travel to that night."

I have never flown another airline (Air India, Turkish Air, United, American, China Southern, etc., etc.) that did not make this easy to choose during booking or check-in and that did not already have a standard ovo-lacto vegetarian option on the regular menu. Vegetarians practice for all sorts of reasons, including religion and health needs. It's unacceptable to make it so difficult to meet your meal needs while trapped on a plane for nine hours. 2) The check-in agent did not know the rule about all remaining seats being opened for passenger choice three hours before booking and insisted we had to pay to get aisle seats despite one of us having a health problem necessitating her standing up and walking every 45 minutes. Then another agent told us we couldn't choose seats for free for our Porto to Newark flight when we check in for our Madrid-Porto flight because it wasn't technically three hours before the Porto-Newark departure. But how were we supposed to choose seats for the Porto-Newark flight three hours in advance if we are in an airplane flying to Porto at that time? This makes no sense. Seats should be opened for every leg of a same-day journey at the same time. The agents were unhelpful and unsympathetic. 3) This was an old plane without options to choose a film or show to watch. Instead, passengers could flip through a few channels and hope to find something of interest that was already playing -- there was no way to begin a film or show from the beginning if you landed on it in the middle of its running time. I cannot recommend TAP Portugal to any of my friends, family, or colleagues after this experience."

It is to bad I have to fly back with you because I will not be flying with you ever again after this I will take my money elsewhere. It already was rediculous that we are only aloud 1 50lb bag checked and now you want people to pay for it too? Pretty soon you minus well have people just get on a plane naked!!"

I wish when booking a flight you were given the menu or you could choose early in the flight and then be served. I bet it would cut down on wasted food and money."

We were instructed to close the shades and were allowed to sleep and woken up for the custom form and the great meal which had the option of soda or wine, etc. at no additional cost. The quality of the food was impressive and the salad even came with a packet of real Portuguese olive oil and vinegar. When appropriate we all had to open the shades and drinks were served again and later a small snack of a sandwich and a juice were given all in perfect timing."

They did not. It went under the plane with no tag and then when I arrived in Lisbon it was somehow my fault. The flight crew there trying to "assist" were horrendous. I was actually told I should not be flying internationally if I can't carry my bag. Isn't there rules about bags flying unattended? Even internationally. How was my LAPTOP case supposed to get to EWR without a tag? Shouldn't it have been checked? Shouldn't the crew have noticed this and said something to flight attendants? The club and plane both were filthy. The first seat I sat in in the club smelled so strongly of pee I had to go stand (as it was so crowded) I am a million mile flyer and I will never fly TAP again."

I arrived at the airport over two hrs in advance and then had to run a significant distance through the airport and sweat and be unnecessarily anxious waiting on the customs line only to arrive at the gate at 11:20am, to have my bags checked for a second time and then be unable to get any food or coffee before a flight that did not begin boarding for another 40 minutes. I did and still do not see the need for that additional luggage/security check and then being held at the gate for almost an extra hour for seemingly no reason at all."

I felt like I did not get my money's worth for this flight and that it was a poor experience."

It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."

Cons: "They closed the boarding doors early and I ran thru the entire airport to get there and they wouldn't let me on because my flight was delayed. THE WORST"

Cons: "My flight was delayed 4 hours and I've missed very important meeting and event I had to attend to In NYC!"

Pros: "Entertainment was non existent for such a long flight. Crew could not speak very good English and weren't attentive at all."

Cons: "No entertainment for long flight except mr bean. The way to Madrid was much more enjoyable. Same airline. Oh and wifi=30$ for 50 MB. I use that in 2 min so way too little data with each package."

Cons: "Impossible to confirm flight online. Seat assignments split us up, including our children When we were finally able to be seated together it was 3 in last row an one in 2nd to last where attendants kept bumping into seats, making noise etc. 9 year old son's monitor didn't work after we bought headset. Took many hours and multiple requests for assistance and refund. Crew left 9 year old son off of flight manifest resulting in his detainment by homeland security st JFK."

Cons: "The time allotted at the MAD airport for connection was tight ... a LONG way to walk with a carry on bag and through lines of people. Need to make flyers over 65 aware of that ...."

Pros: "Just boring, nothing stands out. Just plain get on & get off."

Pros: "Blanket and pillow meal ok staff friendly and attentive"
Cons: "No boarding call headphones sold crush to get on flight"

Pros: "I was surprised by the food, and the crew was always kind, warm, and welcoming. I liked that we got two meals for our trip and that the flight was smooth. We weren't delayed at all and everything was incredibly efficient. I was really impressed for a low-cost flight."
Cons: "My partner was really uncomfortable, as the distance between seats is pretty insufficient. I was only comfortable because I am a particularly short person. Also, it was a little disappointing that the TVs on our first flight didn't work and that there were only two TVs for the whole back cabin during the second flight. That is not the end of the world, though, and I think that even on a budget airline, seat sizes are unfortunate. Also, the timing of the movies was really strange. They couldn't fit in two movies for an 8 hour flight because they were timed poorly."

Cons: "food bad by any standards, clumsy stewardess spilling drinks, very long boarding, very poor entertainment choices"

Pros: "2 fligts with aireuropa. Both very different: first was in a vey comfortable plane with a lot of space but a poor service from flight attendants. In the second the plane was more uncomfortable, Seats were tight but service was fair. Both with no delayes and fine service at the airport."

Pros: "The flight ayendance on the place really nice. The food very good."
Cons: "I had a visa to fly to new york and she sid not let me chexk it because she was telling me i did not have the right papers . I had a visa ans the right papers to fly and she told me i had to make a ESTA. WHEN I ALREADY HAD MY VISA!!! SHE did not know what she was doing snd i had to spent 34 dollars at the airport because an agency made it for me. When i got in madrid airport the flight attendance told me that the Esta was not necessary for me as i had a visa. So the woman in barcelona got me crazy and I spent my money i wasted my time for nothinf and i almost miss my plane!!!!! Embarassing how they can have workers like that!!!!! Terrible!!!"

Pros: "Flight was good. The flight attendants were very nice and accommodating. The boarding process was a little chaotic and not well organized. I would definitely fly them again."

Pros: "I really enjoyed flying on a Spanish air line; the attitude of the flight attendants was a bit more professional than most American air lines. However, the flight attendants were either incredibly helpful, warm, and attentive or incredibly rude and cold."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 2 hours in the airport, then we boarded and the door of the plane was sealed. We were then held for an additional 2 HOURS inside the plane–no air conditioning, no food or any refreshments until 5 minutes before we took off they offered water. They said there were "technical difficulties" but said nothing more and seemed not at all apologetic. The in flight entertainment was okay, and the food was nothing special. I don't understand how air plane food is still at the low level of quality it is. With all the products, processed foods, and variety of diets that exist, how is it that air lines haven't figured out a better system?"

Cons: "Delayed flight and super old airplane."

Pros: "First of all the flight was delayed 3 hours due to plane arriving late from London. Once in the plane we had to wait another hour and a half. The plane is as old as any transatlantic plane can be, small seats, no personal entertainment, food was poor. Never flying with them again."

Pros: "The crew members were very accommodating"

Cons: "Because there are no boarding groups, you are forced to keep a line for a long time just to board and make sure you get enough space for your carry on items. There were no personal TV screens (unless you rented an iPad) for entertainment in a flight that lasted 8.5 hours!!! The general TVs had poor quality/definition. Food was awful. Worse than in any airline I ever took. Online check in process worked for one flight but not for the other. This makes no sense."
