I really appreciated the check in service at Heathrow airport - amazing they checked our luggage and gave our passes through to Chch NZ. Chairs were comfortable. Good leg room. While we appreciate the lounge, they could have offered a wider range of options (a few more vegan options).
Flight attendants are always pleasant and helpful. Pilot kept us updated.

Cons: "Due to limited internet in Rarotonga, we weren’t able to fully check in until we got to the counter. The flight in came with two checked bags and not our flight to Auckland. We were expected to pay a fee at the counter but was charged $170 for the counter checkin of one bag. This price was not listed or posted anywhere during the booking or via email for mobile check-in."
Pros: "Agents went above and beyond to help. Wish I had names because I was REAL impressed at how much they helped to get our bags checked. My son had purchased my ticket and not bought luggage voucher. They helped me get online and buy voucher. Would recommend airline to anyone traveling in that part of world."

But once I checked in my luggage and passed the security check, I received a new flight ticket through email. They totally changed my connecting flight to a much later one. Only 20 mins later after they told me to check in my luggage and promise the connecting flight would wait for me. Later the manager said" I don't know who told you that, but no one could catch a connecting flight in 10 mins.""

Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."

Based on the oh well attitude of the supposed manager at American Airlines/qantas I won't be taking qantas on my next trip."

This made me uneasy from the very beginning that I would lose my London-Luxembourg flight. The crew in the boarding gate, only after much insisting, said they would make a note so that someone from Qantas would wait for me and help me get my London-Luxembourg flight no problem, but in the next stopovers (Melbourne, Dubai), there was no sign of this. Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."

Cons: "Seats didn't accommodate my broad shoulders well. Seats seemed tighter than ones I've flow long distance on before ie. Iceland Air, New Zealand Air, and Emirates. Head phone jack is inside the seat arm rest which made it awkward when adjusting. No standard head phone jack but a converter is provided."
Pros: "The Singapore Qantas lounge is well set up, despite one or two small issues. Boarding was easy after the usual Singapore gate lounge procedures. On board the crew (led by Brigita) could not have been better. I LOVE the 1 -2 - 1 business configuration. Meals and refreshments on board were just great and I enjoyed that the crew didn't disturb me (Emirates are particularly rude in this regard) when it was clear I was sleeping until descent."
Cons: "Qantas, being an Australian airline, I am clueless as to why, in the airline lounge: Australian Sauvignon Blancs are not available (NZ phewee!) Bundaberg Rum (Ozzie icon) is not available. For a major hub, it is also not clear why a separate business lounge doesn't operate."
Pros: "All the good qualities are there. Check in was a breeze and very friendly handling our surfboard. However, the plane is old and needs a refurbishment, I can't believe how small the personal screens are! Whilst the crew were very friendly, always searching for a specific drink you request, but the food quality was average - I'm taking my own sandwich next time."
