The plane was very warm and stuffy, overhead air jet running very weakly: disconcerting when Covid is still a real concern. ie: fresh air would be nice. On arrival, a 15 minute wait once the plane was stopped at the gate before the door was opened to let passengers leave. Then a 50 minute wait for luggage.
The plane was so hot and the air above was basically nothing.
A lot of people needing bathroom before arrival some didn’t get to use; plane a little small felt cramped but worked still a bigger plane would be nice. Crew was friendly and flight was on time and smooth. No food for vegans 🤔
That travel day was a gong show from the start checkin wasn’t possible so we all showed 3 hours early and waited 2 hours to check in to fly
WestJet at Toronto airport is a mess, flown multiple times and every time there is a 100m line for check in - the machines do not work for 80% of people. Its a shambles. You will be spending at least an hour before your flight in that line.
I asked to cancel the flight two weeks before but the customer service agent said I can't. Now I just lost 600+ CAD for nothing. Never again on Kayak. I will never recommend it.
Only issue was noise, but that was two women talking very loudly and even head phones didn't drown out. No issue with airline other than being late.
Worst experience ever. Stranded twice, coming and going. They refuse to complete the trip. I will go to court
I travel frequently and every single Air Canada flight I have taken in the past 2 months there has been an issue, especially with flight delays…
Like the 787 experience. Staff is friendly and responsive. The food and leg room could do some improvement.
The flight was delayed. They assigned us a direct flight instead, We are very happy with the changes!
My flight was delayed, cancelled and delayed again. I lost one complete day in Japan, a very needed vacation. My schedule / itinerary in Japan is now all screwed up. It will take more time and cost to resolve this. So, am I happy with Air Canada; NO!
When I arrived in Calgary I discovered my plane was reassigned to a more profitable route and I was left stranded in Calgary. I had to rent a car and drove 8 hours to get home at my own expense. 2 of my last 3 flights with Air Canada were cancelled and the 3rd one was delayed 2 hours. Air Canada is an unreliable airline. Choose another airline if you can!
Like most Air Canada (AC) flights, it was delayed. And in this case, there were luggage problems. Somehow someone else's luggage got assigned to my ticket so that created some confusion but was easy to resolve and I ended up having a nice visit with the people who's luggage was attached to my ticket. This is touchy subject for me as AC has lost my luggage many times (or the airport, I'm just not certain who to point at as I don't know) In flight was pretty standard, one lady was wonderful and the rest seemed mediocre in comparison. We landed in Toronto and had to wait on our gate, then pulled into our gate and spent an additional 30 minutes waiting for a ramp to get off the plane. I don't know who was at fault here, Pearson's horrible organization and terrible management or if AC didn't plan to have it there. To do better, more attention in the bag drop process would be good. Then hold the airport accountable for the lost luggage (I'm looking at you Pearson from the time you sent my domestic flight luggage to Turkey).
Boarding was good. No snacks was a bummer and crew did not take up trash. When asked twice about ear plugs for movie no one came back with any. Nice to have movies offered free however if you aren’t able to listen to them not very good.
Was kinda tight in the seats no leg room. Seats uncomfortable. Maps cpuldnt keep up Allot of ports not working. But was an amazing ezperience.
Long time for luggage to show up. I know pearson is short staffed but it was a long time.
Overall experience is pretty good but quality of the food should be improved.
