Cons: "It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

Cons: "5 delays between for a 4:27PM flight that eventually took off at 3:15am. My biggest issue is the unrealistic delay that could have left us in the airport for 11+ hours. Very thankful that they did allow me to change departure locations to another airport at no charge. That flight went well, even arrived early."

Pros: "My kids and I had great experiences with Allegiant Air, thanks in large part to some excellent flight attendants. This was the first flight for both of my children (5, 7) and they had a blast. On our initial flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale the attendants even gave each of them their own set of pin-on wings since it was their first time. The kids loved this!"

Cons: "It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

We wound up taking a tram to another terminal, found out that we were in the wrong place, and then made it back just in time to board with a few minutes to spare. Anyway, the airline itself was o.k. and next time I'll check the arrival/departure board. Since we were traveling with only a carry on, it was a good price after all the "frills" were added (pay for carry on, pay to select seat). we still had a price lower than any other airline. So all in all, once we got on the plane it was a pleasant experience."

Pros: "The original price points for the direct flights are wonderful. You can actually book the week of a trip and save hundreds because those prices will probably still be the best. That is, until you learn about all of their extra fees."

They charge extra for each bag, including your carry- on, when you pick your seat you are charged depending on where it is in the aircraft, if you want a drink or food on the plane you will have to pay, if you do not print your ticket prior to arriving to the aiport they will charge you, etc."

After the 3rd time she responded she was getting something but it was after she talked to someone and got a bottle of water for herself. Cons: "I'm average-sized and these planes are tighter than most other commuter planes I've flown. My destination flight was an hour late. It happens. But my return flight ended up being three hours late and an hour of that was spent in the plane as they waited for someone to fix a non-essential cabin video monitor. There was almost no communication either in the airport boarding area or on the plane to tell us about the ongoing delays, changing gates, new estimated departure and arrival times. When we finally took-off, the captain never even apologized or announced what the new flying and arrival time would be, so we were again left in the dark. The crew were ok. I could tell they were in the dark about much of what was going on, too, and were frustrated but resigned to working with Allegiant's way of operating. But they weren't able to muster anywhere near the level of friendliness, helpfulness, or enthusiasm that would have made a passenger's experience better under these circumstances. Instead, they left us to suffer just like they were, and that's the feeling we got. Also note that apparently there's no time to clean anything between flights these days. There was trash and crumbs and all sorts of nasty stuff left behind from previous flights. Things a bit out of the airline's control, but contributing to one of the worst flights I've taken were multiple crying babies and children almost non-stop, extreme body odors and emissions throughout (need better ventilation!), and this new trend of people thinking that the first to get up from their seats and with luggage in hand after landing, the first out the door (instead of filing out by seat order). This leaves others stranded and waiting for the entire plane to deboard, And finally, unrelated to the actual flight, but also contributing to my experience is Allegiant's nickel and diming approach to flying. They charge literally for everything (and not just a little), from your carry-on bag, to choosing a seat number, to using a credit card online. What starts as a very favorable cost to fly versus many other airlines, becomes unreasonable when adding in all the extra charges. This goes for in-flight food or beverages, too. Expect to pay for everything, down to a cup of water. I took Allegiant because it was the only 2-hour direct flight available and seemed to be a more reasonable price than other options. Cons: "I was seated next to a lady with a one year old child. In an effort to allow her to spread out and be more comfortable, I asked if I could move to one of the three empty seats together two rows up ( this was after all passengers had boarded and doors had shut.) I was tod there was a fifty dollar upgrade cost to sit there. So those seats remained empty the whole flight as I had a one year old to help entertain. I understand policy and upgrade costs ( those seats were not first or business class,) but once we were in flight I thought the attendants would use common sense and Cortes you which they did not. Very disappointed in there overall performance. They were neither friendly or courteous."

Asked several crew/desk folks about this and no one seemed to know what the deal was. Had to pay for what would have normally been a carry-on, which was not explained before purchase. Bags took an hour to get to baggage claim, which was heightened by the fact that I did not want to check my bag but I did since it would have been $40 to carry it on ($30 for checked). Overall was not a huge fan. Would be worth flying if it was several hundred dollars cheaper than other airlines, but in this instance it was not."

They changed the flight to leave Denver at midnight without notifying. It is a remarkable difference of hours. They only have a flight in the morning or really late at night to Indiana. The staff on the airplane was nice. However the seat are uncomfortable and no complemtary treats or drinks are offered."

Gave us a much later flight and were not offered any compensation for switching to a much cheaper flight initially. There were no water option or snack that were complinentary and for a 2.5 hour flight that seems ridiculous to me. Not please with the hidden bag fees ($30-35 per person)and seat charges ($13-18). Better off going with a pricier ticket to start with. Download the app it is helpful to pull up boarding pass and add your seat and bags. The website is confusing with its dumb perks pop up page that no one understands. So do your research before booking with frontier. Wish I had."

Cons: "Lost checked bags in Denver, didn't receive for 2 days and about ruined my vacation because my festival ticket was in the bag. Other than that the flight was great. Will fly with them again but will never check a bag."

Cons: "Well my plane was supposed to board at 8:25 a.m. and leave at 9:10 a.m., however it had not arrived yet. After the plane arrived, it took the crew quite some time to get all of the passengers off. When we did get on the plane, there was another long wait because they were short on bag rampers. After all of the delays, my plane exited Denver at or around 10:50 a.m. Throughout all of this the stewardesses were quiet and didn't explain the delays. It wasn't until quite some time that I requested as to why we hadn't left yet. There were more issues when the flight arrived in Indianapolis. It took approximately 10-12 minutes until the jetway was even connected to the plane. Finally, I'm off the plane and I get to the baggage claim and I was there waiting for my bags for about 30 minutes. It's the first time that I've had any of these issues as a flyer and it's also the first time that I've used Frontier. This flight isn't one of my first flights either as the military has had me flying all over the US in recent months. Looking at this experience, I think that has more to do with the company itself rather than a random flight experience."

Cons: "I concede creature comforts when I buy value. In giving those up, I should not have to concede timeliness. 1.5 hours late on a flight that was suppose to leave @ 11:59pm flying East. Makes for a tough next day little to no fault of my own, except I bought a cheap ticket. BTW - those that complain about an uncomfortable seat, no snack, no in flight movie or other luxuries - BE QUIET! Frontier is an economy airline helping working class go to places more often than "the big vacation"."

Cons: "Frontier managed to lose our seats on our return flight blaming it on mysteriously "being unchecked" in their system. This caused is quite the panic when we were asked to step aside in line as our boarding passes were not being accepted in their scanner. A supervisor came just in the knick of time to tear off a piece of paper with a written seat number on it which would then suffice as our passes to get on the plane. To top it off, they lost half our planes luggage. I can see how their prices are so low as they skimp in all other major areas."

Cons: "As soon as the entire flight was boarded and seated we were told that we were waiting "a few minutes" for 12 passengers on a connecting flight from Seattle. This was a midnight flight and we did not pull away from the gate until after 1am. We sat on the plane for over an hour waiting for these passengers with no update from the crew. There must have been something wrong with the air conditioning, because I have never had such little air flow from the individual blower on any flight I have ever been on. It was like when they turn off the plane as passengers de-board, but that was the air temperature and air flow of the entire flight. Out of the pilots control, but we experienced the worst turbulence I have ever experienced. We were flying directly into a storm with bright lightning. Again, other than the fasten seat belt sign, there was no communication from flight attendants or crew as to what was going on. There were several times I was genuinely worried about whether the plane would level back out. This was easily the worst flight of my life."

Cons: "Flight was late in departing, with no explanation as to why. The announcements at DIA were terrible. As other announcements were made at the same time, which made it impossible to understand. The light for my seat did not work"

Cons: "left us sitting in our seats for an hour at 12 midnight seats were horrible the most uncomfortable in my 40 yrs of flying will never fly frontier again"

Cons: "Frontier misleads customers with a price that compares favorably with competitors while you are searching for fares. But, once you have selected the flight and already given your credit card number for payment you find out that there are extra charges each flight to choose your seat and for both checked and carry-on luggage. All food and drinks during the flight are at an extra price and the seats do no recline at all. So, my uncomfortable flight ended up being a higher price than other carriers. And finally, I have Pre-check privileges when going through security, but Frontier does not participate in the program, so I waited in very long lines. Last time."

Pros: "I eventually got to my final destination safely, and my luggage wasn't lost. The pilot seemed to be as frustrated as us, so it seemed like he really was trying to find us a new plane pretty frantically. Not sure if it was his idea to board and reboard us on the broken plane twice though."
Cons: "Where to start...our flight was delayed 30 minutes without them telling us why. They did tell us that if our plane wasn't ready, there was another nearby that we may be able to take. But 30 min is usually no big deal, so no one was really upset. So, they boarded us onto the plane without any communication as to the original delay. Apparently there was a computer issue, so we sat on the plane for 30 minutes and they said we could deboard because it was going to be at least another 35 minutes. After an hour and a half of waiting and no updates besides revised landing times, the tech guy left the plan, and they started boarding us again. We're all boarded and another 25 minutes goes by. Then, they come over the loud speaker and told us we either had to get a new computer or a new plane and HQ was still deciding. So, they boarded us for a second time onto a plane they knew wasn't repaired. It was the middle of the night, so they had to wake everyone up who was trying to get sleep in the airport to board us - and it was for no reason. So, they deboarded us again and told us we were going to get a new plane (the same plane I believe they said was ready 3 hours prior). So, we go to that gate, pilot goes on to check it, and they already started the evening maintenance, so it wouldn't be ready for an hour. So, they switch us to a third gate (again, middle of the night, herding us around like cattle) and we wait at the 3rd gate for another 45 minutes without a single announcement or update. We finally board the plane, take off, and land at our final destination. When we get there, our gate has obviously been taken because we're 4 hours late, so we sit on the tarmac for an additional 35 minutes before we can be assigned a gate to unload. Finally, 4.5 hours late, just in time for work with 2 hours of sleep, we arrive in the most uncomfortable plane with the most unpersonable crew who gave us little to no communication the entire time. The pilot would update us when things were at the "worst-case scenario point" and he had ot move us. Other than that, we never had any idea what was going on. The situation was bad with the plane computer being broken, but had they communicated properly, not boarded us twice on a broken plane, communicated proper timeline estimates, or even gave us better expectations, the experience would have been so much better. Don't need to fly Frontier again. These things were also poor from my first flight review: First time flying Frontier, and the plane itself is very uncomfortable. Tray tables are too small to do anything with, and the seats are very thin and hard and do not move at all. The armrests were also super uncomfortable, but when you try to move them back, they stick straight up so you can't be comfortable. The crew wasn't very personable like more popular airlines. Everyone seemed pretty unhappy to be there and talked minimally. You have to pay for your bags, food, and drink. No entertainment available to judge."

Cons: "There are almost no space other than placing ur butt somewhere there. No space to eat. No space to turn around, no space to open a laptop."

Cons: "I didn't like the 3.5 hour mechanical delay that we had where we eventually ended up switching planes. If there was a mechanical issue, we should have switched planes an hour after the issue wasn't able to be resolved. Your stewardess with the gray hair was unpleasant as well. There were no features on this plane so the passagers had the option of just sitting there or sleeping. Not even your basic airline snacks (peanuts, crackers) were complimentary. This was very "nickel and dime" like. I also don't care for the fact that you have to pay for your carryon, which is more expensive than checking a bag."

It is touted to make my traveling easier but when you bring it up, all it will let you do is make a reservation. If it would have worked, it may have saved me 45 minutes of TSA frustration."
