Our plane was defective so had to be replaced. This is fine, I certainly am willing to wait for a new plane if it means not blowing up over the ocean. The problem was how little the attendants at the gate communicated the situation to us. What should have been a brief layover became a 12 hour nightmare. The gate attendants did finally issue meal vouchers but they waited until 10 minutes before all the restaurants closed and only issued $10 a person. This is enough to buy a hot dog at an airport... We were told there wouldn't be any rescheduling of missed connections until we were "airborne". This resulted in mass panic and confusion upon reaching our destination. We were told to go to the service desk, half an airport away, but once the entire passenger contents of the plane arrived at that far flung service desk, we were mostly turned away to seek help at individual gates. This lack of communication meant I missed the next next available connecting flight and now have a further six hour layover. I understand accidents happen and planes can break down but the nearly complete lack of care and customer attention is, frankly, disappointing. I've now had nearly an entire day added to my travel time. If I'd been willing to loose that time I would have paid $600 less for my ticket. United finally offered a token of their appreciation : a $100 e-voucher. I have spent more than that on food and coffee in airports for the past two days while trying to survive until my next connections.

To start, I booked a hotel room close to the airport and upon my arrival at eight thirty in the evening I explained to the reception that I would need a shuttle at 5.15 in the morning..she then told me the shuttle didn't start till eight , so anyway I get a cab and arrive at 6 and as I approached the counter to get my boarding pass the lady blurted out with joy you're late and we have to rebook you. I said my flight was leaving at 6:30 she responded with a smile and pointed to a sight 45 minute before flight sight in required.. so a200 ticket ended up coating me double and I had to Waite in the airport 5 hours and go to Fort Lauderdale and wait there for another 4 hours.. I will never spend a dime on spirit again.. one bag 50 dollars , greedy,rudeness,just all around uglyou!!

One employee said have a good New Year.

There was absolutely no service on either of my flights. The seating and tray tables were extremely small and of poor quality. The stewardess never even asked if anyone needed anything except to offer things for purchase. The gate attendees were extremely rude to those around me and the prices for ANYTHING are outrageous. I understand the idea of 'low ticket prices' and 'less accommodations' but your company put us on an unbelievably small airplane treated us like herded animals. You are a business and are supposed to treat your clients like such. Completely unsatisfactory.

Great assistance with a wheelchair to board, and gate crew in CVG is super friendly and helpful.

After landing, we spent a hour sitting in the plane, waiting for a gate. After the entire plane had deboarded, it took another 15 minutes for them to bring my husband's wheelchair up from the gate checked storage.

Smaller airports make travel easier, and more relaxed. No frills--to get even water on the flight you'll pay for a bottle. Personnel all tend to be friendly and helpful. With Allegiant I've learned to pack lightly and plan travel carefully. It's been worth it as I have been able to see friends and family more often. We even took an impromptu vacation this year when we found a great deal on airfare.

Fortunately as a passenger the economy flight area was very spacious due to low numbers of passengers. Which provided a comfortable seating space.

The entertainment could and been a little more variable in the film range provided. But generally overall I had a excellent flight. Food was good. Crew were very good and I would definitely consider flying United on my next visit out and recommend that my family did. Thank you United.

The flight cost was inexpensive. Takeoff and landing on time was a plus.

The need to pay for EVERYTHING, bag (55$-yikes!), food (no offered, but need to pay of it if it is), drinks including water! The seating is small and lacks any type of padding. I am small frame (5'5" and 130#) and had difficulty maneuvering.

For what the price you pay it’s not bad at all. The seats were comfortable. The crew were nice and they were being very attentive and friendly.

There is no sort of entertainment at all so you might want to bring your own devices or book to make the flight seem shorter.

Did not appreciate attitude of employees, if you're not energized about Spirit airlines why should your customers. Also, i've never experienice any issues in flying with my infant son except for Spirit. Extremely disappointed in the way the business is operated. Last time I fly on this airline with my family.

I had no warning that i would have to pay an extra $114 for my carry on. Which is usually free. We had landed in cleveland early and still were late for our arrival due to waiting to get off the plane.

The plane had lots of space.. Seats larger.... No longer crammed in like sardines. I fly frequently from SC to NJ and thank goodness for Spirit Airlines!!!! Always on time and very accommodating.!!!!!

Fortunately as a passenger the economy flight area was very spacious due to low numbers of passengers. Which provided a comfortable seating space.

The entertainment could and been a little more variable in the film range provided. But generally overall I had a excellent flight. Food was good. Crew were very good and I would definitely consider flying United on my next visit out and recommend that my family did. Thank you United.

The flight cost was inexpensive. Takeoff and landing on time was a plus.

The need to pay for EVERYTHING, bag (55$-yikes!), food (no offered, but need to pay of it if it is), drinks including water! The seating is small and lacks any type of padding. I am small frame (5'5" and 130#) and had difficulty maneuvering.

To start, I booked a hotel room close to the airport and upon my arrival at eight thirty in the evening I explained to the reception that I would need a shuttle at 5.15 in the morning..she then told me the shuttle didn't start till eight , so anyway I get a cab and arrive at 6 and as I approached the counter to get my boarding pass the lady blurted out with joy you're late and we have to rebook you. I said my flight was leaving at 6:30 she responded with a smile and pointed to a sight 45 minute before flight sight in required.. so a200 ticket ended up coating me double and I had to Waite in the airport 5 hours and go to Fort Lauderdale and wait there for another 4 hours.. I will never spend a dime on spirit again.. one bag 50 dollars , greedy,rudeness,just all around uglyou!!

Seats need to at least be able to recline. I usually spend the money to assure an exit row, but enough is enough. Give us taller people some room. Geez.

Plane sat on runway & subsequently returned to gate due to mechanical issue resulting in 2.5 hour departure delay. Boarding was chaotic - flight attendant said procedure not consistent with UA practices. Food only available is purchased from UA, and what food was available ran out (I never did get fed on the 11+ hour flight). Cabin very cold.

sat in line for over 40 minutes once pulled away from the gate waiting to takeoff. no free internet. took a long time to board - let too many people on board with carryons that would never have fit in the sizer box if the gate crew directed them to try it. no gate personnel upon arrival - sat on tarmac for 15 minutes to get someone to guide us to our gate.
