Location is great. Easy walk to Phillips Arena and other attractions in the area. Valet parking attendants were wonderful!! Booked online thru hotels.com. Reserved a deluxe double room, with 2 double beds. Got the two beds, in a tiny single room with moldy bathroom in which the tub barely drains while showering, for $358.00. Extra charge for internet!! Called front desk after arrival. Told me they could not do anything about it as I had booked through a third party. Lesson learned.....go direct!
We didn't know the limit until we had already booked and gotten the itinerary. Very inconvenient and we had to pay for 2 hotel rooms because we could not cancel. The staff we spoke to on the phone were unpleasant. We were calling to let them know we were going to be arriving late and it turned out we couldn't stay there at all. It would have been nice to know the fine print about the pet friendly hotel before I booked and paid.
Excellent location, and services. The rooms seem very dated (south tower). Wallpaper peeling, dark look. Bar area is nice, but staff seemed to not want to be there and it showed in the service. Sat at the bar and had an unpleasant smell.
Expensive Valet only
Close enough we were able to walk to the venue and several choices of restaurants nearby. $35 added for required valet parking with almost an hour wait for our car to be retrieved.
My reservation was ready. Elevator was not working most of the time, there was a tear on the carpet by the balcony, I was adviced to use the stairs after waiting for several minutes on the only working elevator. Walked to the 14th floor and my card didn't work. I called front desk right away for a replacement card. They explained that they will send someone up, 30min later, nothing, I went downstairs and the staff was short and lazy. I politely asked for a replacement card and asked if there is any kind of compensation for all the inconveniences that happened. Front desk said there is nothing they can do. It is very unlikely I'll get a room there again.

Only thing I liked was convenient location and the service was very friendly. I can't believe this hotel has 4 stars. It barely feels like a hotel and its quite impersonal. The CNN aspect is interesting but the building feels like an office with the hotel as an after thought. The rooms are super out of date and there are no outlets that are easily accessible near the bed which is super annoying for plugging in devices. Also, you have to pay $15/day for internet. SERIOUSLY! Internet should be free and included in the price, PERIOD. The nickel and dimming is super annoying. It reflects how out of date the hotel is. I'm not sure how other ATL hotels are but I'd encourage you to find a better place to stay. I really hope ATL has better options than this place.

Lobby was nice & location was good The carpet was stained and worn, and so was the furniture. The tub was so clogged that the water backed up to your ankles even in a quick shower. Valet never answered the phone and was slow even when there were four or five guys standing around. Self park is not even an option. Check-in was slow. View was horrible- we had an inside facing room. I've had nicer stays at budget hotels. Don't expect much from this place. Every amenity is charged separately.

Comfortable bed , I was upgraded to a king and also put up on a higher floor by request. The view from the tower is no view at all just down town traffic and noise. Also the walls are thin, I could here others toilet flush and door closings.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very polite. Even the cleaning crew when you meet them in the hall they all said good morning have a great day. I forgot to leave my keys in my car one night when we got in and they sent a security office named Erin to my room to get my keys and very polite. I told them I was so sorry he said no ma'am it's fine. Very friendly. Nothing.
We stayed here twice in 1 week and requested a King with View room. The first time we got just that, and the skyline view from the international tower was beautiful! The room was quiet, modern, and the best part was all the electronics plugs offered on the nightstands! Great location to restaurants and the trolley. When we checked in, we were told we were "guests of the day" and were given a voucher for food/drink items at the hotel's market. As we checked out, I happened to speak to a nice gentleman at the front door and mentioned we would be back in a week's time because we were celebrating our anniversary in Aruba. He gave me his card and said he and his staff would ensure that we had a great time when we returned. When we returned, he had upgraded us to a King Suite on the 17th floor with a corner view and 3 balconies! It was the most amazing room I have ever stayed in at a hotel. THANK YOU!!! We also had a nice "snack" in the bar and I had am amazing kale salad. We are now huge fans and will be staying at this hotel whenever we can in the future. Our King Suite Corner View room could have been vacuumed better. It was apparent that housekeeping does not use a crevice tool at the edges of the carpet, for they were very dusty and dirty throughout the unit. Same with the window tracks, but this is pretty minor. Otherwise the room was AMAZING!

Hotel was very nice and staff was pleasant. Rooms were clean, some of the hallways were a little shabby. Surrounding area was not safe at night. . There were a lot of homeless people in the streets at night who would harass you as you tried to get back to the hotel from dinner. Also price of the hotel was high.
Great meeting hotel, with the best and friendliest staff anywhere. Really good lunch options are in the contacted food court.
I like the fact that is in the city ,and I didn't had to rent a car everything is just there great location. But the room that I got its wasn't clean everything just was dasty the sheet was very dirty I don't think that hotel with high quality like the say but honestly it's wasn't athe all I'll give it rate 5 star only because the location was great.
Excellent front desk and bell staff. Plenty of rooms for early check-in. Room balcony doors actually open so you can get a breeze and see the city. Excellent location for getting all around the city. The interactive TV menu is cumbersome, the mouse on the remote is crap and takes like a million spins to get anything done. Its just not very usable sometimes.

Incredible views. Within walking distance of almost everything Atlanta has to offer. Friendly staff, quick to respond to any requests at any time of the day/night. Our AC unit lost power at 11pm, they had it working by 11:30pm. ORDER A DRINK at the bar on the 73rd floor and then sit back and relax while the room rotates, giving you the best view of every part of the city. Worth the money. Only complaint - the beds in the double queen rooms are small, and do not comfortably sleep two adults.
This is the 2nd Westin I've stayed in and they have both been great. At this one in particular, the staff was super nice and I had a very good experience. The bed was amazing. Beautiful hotel from the outside too. The room wasn't as big as I was expecting and I had hoped for a bathroom as nice as the one I stayed in in St. Louis. It had a big walk in shower while the one in Atlanta was a standard tub you can find in any hotel.
Rooms were nice and clean For the cost I would hope for a peaceful nights sleep but instead loud music was played half the night along with younger girls running and laughing up and down the hall. Very disrespectful.

I liked the room and friendliness of the customer facing staff quite a bit. The management was terrible, I was double charged by the Hotel and ended up getting stuck in Atlanta and missing 2 days of work, which were 2 days I didnt get paid for. Overall it was a really stressful and bad experience.
Very near to the place where I wanted to go House keeping was poor,for examples not proper bed making, no shampoo refill and no bottle opener in the room in spite of minibar facility, not enough help for sightseeing information.

Clean and modern looking rooms. Enjoyed the rain showerhead and the view from the rooftop bar. The staff was friendly and handed us mojitos at the check-in counter. Parking is way over-priced. Rooms were a bit small but still comfortable.
The hotel has a nice boutique feel. The bed was comfortable. We opted to pre-check the day before arrival and requested a spacious room from the options. The room we received was so small that there was no space to place our open luggage! Also, the shower was fairly small and no bathtub.

We loved our city view from our room. The staff was extremely friendly. The location was in near walking distance to restaurants and entertainment, and right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium & Centennial Park. No continental breakfast. You had to pay an additional $12.99 per person to eat. Also, you have to pay for parking (which is common downtown). Check your car once valet bring it back to you. We had scratches and scrapes on our back bumper.

This hotel is very well placed in central downtown Atlanta, I was able to walk to the World of Coca-Cola, cnn and the Centennial Olympic Park, as well as Phillips Arena and Georgia Dome. It is conveniently located to a marta station as well (as I had no luggage, I came straight from the airport). The room was very comfortable, there was a well-equipped gym room, and breakfast was awesome, with a chef that would cook eggs, pancakes, waffles etc at your request. Well... I was woken up at 1 am by the noise of an electrical drill in the neighbor room just outside my door - the guest there got locked out of the room and they couldn't open the lock with the magnetic card. I called the front desk, which explained what was going on and the noise stopped some 5 minutes later. The next morning, nobody seemed to know or remember what happened, but during check out, when asked about my stay, I mentioned the episode and they promptly excused themselves and offered hh points on my card as a minor compensation, which was the least they could do.

Location, location, location. I didn't like that hotel had no complimentary breakfast. I understand that the hotel has a very nice restaurant, but if you have to spend $15 on breakfast you can't afford to eat dinner in the evening at hotel. I think you will find that more would frequent hotel restaurant and bar if could have a little breakfast on the house. bagel, muffin , milk, juice , something simple for pregame. 24 hr pantry is nice for midnight cravings.
I enjoyed my stay
It was very close to the Georgia Aquarium and the Coco Cola Museum which is what we wanted to see in Alanta. I never like being charged fo parking.
The location is perfect....steps to numerous restaurants and shops. Also a 10 minute drive to Atlantic station. The facility is beautiful with comfortable guest rooms and snooze adjust beds making your mattress meet your sleep needs. But the best part is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. Definately staying here on all my atlanta trips

The location, the friendly & helpful staff, and the very comfortable room made for a really nice stay. I really didn't expect to enjoy this hotel as much as I did. There wasn't really anything I didn't like. Of course, I always appreciate a free muffin or donut at breakfast when I'm paying over $100 per night, but this isn't a deal breaker for me.
I enjoyed the modern feel of the hotel, although almost too much. Nice, clean facilities. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds. Hard wired ethernet connection. Free WIFI Bathroom door was a sliding door which didn't lead to very much privacy. Wouldn't be a huge deal to a family but you couldn't feel comfortable using the bathroom for fear of someone hearing :) The overall lighting in the building was a little dark. I think they were going for a low light, kinda intimite feel but it was almost too much. Almost spooky in some instances. No breakfast. Price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice complementary hot breakfast, too! Parking situation terrible. Valet told us he had 60 cars to park in 40 spaces and we were better off parking ourselves on the street. Street parking in downtown Atlanta is not the easiest or safest thing in the world; despite the great experience otherwise, it might prevent a revisit in the future.
Location is excellent, walking distance from Centennial Park and many others. Basics in the room were clean - like the sink and the sheets...however the rest was not...carpet was dusty, little corners of the room weren't cleaned well/had hair etc, and mirrors/tv surface/pictures on wall were just smeared with a rag rather than actually windexed or whatever proper cleaner exists. I will be looking elsewhere next time most likely.

The staff could not have been any more helpful. They were never too busy to stop and answer questions or help us with anything. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location was wonderful as well - easy access to the aquarium, coke museum and centennial park.

The two room suite is great when traveling with children. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. There was a sign on the door to the pool stating the hot tub was not working. However, it was but it was full of children. It would be good to have stricter rules for the hot tub. The corners of the room (behind the lamp and furniture) were full of dust.
The hotel was very pretty and clean and the complementary breakfast was really good. The parking rates are outraeous .....

It was near tourist attractions. And it had valet parking. The alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. After evacuating twice we did not get a good explaination as to what was going on and we should have gotten a discount or something for being woken up by an emergency alarm twice!

Had a really great stay here for a conference: very comfy bed, big and clean room, nice free breakfast, 24h meals available, free wifi. Short public transport ride away (walkable) from mid town and pretty close to downtown sites. Bathroom was a bit small but this wasn't really an issue.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly. Nice to have breakfast available. Tea at the end of the day was relaxing. Enjoyed the large TV and opportunity to rent a recent movie while relaxing in our room.
Very comfortable beds, very clean, nice breakfast. Parking wasn't the greatest although at least they had off street parking in an enclosure for safety, at a price. When you walk out the hotel gate you meet immediately with street people asking for money.

The crews are very kind. The breakfast can be carried out for eating in the room. The location is very good that 5 min to the metro station. The content of breakfast is a little bit simple. No much option is obtained. I wish I can have ham, eggs, and cheese.

The hotel is located at the heart of Atlanta, within a walking distance (10 minutes) from the Atlanta Aquarium, New World of Coca-Cola and cnn headquarter. It's a good alternative for pricy hotels of the downtown district. The huge advantage of this place is breakfast, wifi and the 3-miles radius shuttle included in the price. It means easy access even to more distant attractions like High Museum of Art (really woth seeing) or galleries at the Atlanta Station. very comfortable beds. Highly recommended. Depending on the room location, you can end up with a nice panorama of Atlanta or a concrete wall, which was my case. But after all, it may happen in any hotel, and the room is basically for sleeping, and not admiring views :-)

It is fantastically well located, 2 blocks from Marta station and from Centennial parrk, and the hotel is nice. The breakfast is not very good , not "continental" one but mostly american.
I liked that when I put that "do not disturb" sign on my door for my entire stay.....they left me alone! I've stayed in some places that totally ignore the sign. Also....Hampton Inn & Suites has THE BEST BED AND PILLOWS EVER!!!
You can't beat the location. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Cute room layout. Free cookies, coffee/tea, and fruit-infused water at front desk. Good free breakfast. During breakfast, the manager even walked around to all the tables and asked how everyone's stay was. He was very personable, as was all the staff. Excellent customer service. Overall incredible value. Hamptons seem to be really stepping up their game lately. The TV didn't work the morning of our checkout. Also, you have to pay for parking, but it's honesty not really a negative because you'd have to pay for parking anyway to do any downtown Atlanta activities.

I liked it here, great location and great service. Since it was under construction it was a lil unappealing but all for the better I do feel like the bathrooms (shower) need to be renovated. It didnt really match the modern appearance of the hotel. And the beds are really hard. Some of the towels and blankets and pillows had stains as well so there are a few things that could be better

The staff was super sweet and helpful. All of them! I feel bad saying anything bad about the hotel bc they literally were so nice! The phone didn't work, someone had to come fix it, the shower head was set up in a way that it was impossible to move in the shower. Really weird. The room was located right next to a busy street and all we heard was trucks all night long. Thin walls and we heard people fighting in other rooms. There was this bright streetlight that shined through our room and curtains. We couldn't keep it out. The parking was annoying and very hard to do in a cramped space. I left my stay early, and complained about the room. The guy at front desk told me he would credit me half the day back, but I ended up being charged another half day and not credited. So I have paid more for a stay than I was suppose to. I've called and left a message anout getting my money back, but no response.
Overall a great experience from the welcome at the front desk to check out. My room was very clean and supplies and towels were replenished daily. Even the maid greeted me with a warm smile and hello. The available snacks at the front desk were a welcome treat. The staff was very happy to answer questions and offer directions to restaurants and transportation. One draw back to my room is that it faced the inner courtyard. There was a party (wedding?) going on that lasted late. It extended to what seemed like an after-party with loud voices even later.
I read so many negative reviews after making reservations that I was scared of what I had gotten us into. All my concerns were for nothing. It was an excellent location to the Georgia Dome, restaurants and downtown Atlanta and all it has to offer. Every staff member we came in contact with during our short stay was very friendly and helpful. Thomas checked us in and while talking we found out his sister lived where we vacation. The cook, Greta, became very special to me. The food was great (and REAL nothing canned) and the staff kept the food replenished, counters and tables wiped down. The staff must have a great boss because everyone seemed happy and content. The hotel appeared to be in a remodeling mode because the lobby and dinning area were very attractive. Our room had new furniture, carpet, tv, drapes, floor and wall tile in the bath. I loved the modern lamps and bath fixtures. My favorite was the wall lamps on each side of our king bed. In addition to the wall lamp, it had an attached LED light that could be positioned to shine on my reading material. FANTASTIC. With all the work that has been done to improve the hotel, there are still touch-ups and refining left to be done. Also it is time to replace the mattress, it is squeaky. I feel sure by SEC time next year the touch-ups will be complete or close to it. A Note to THE BOSS: You have a great, hard working staff. This is the best asset you and the hotel have going for you. Don't mess up. Keep them happy and most of all treat them good.
Very helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Business room was good but not large enough for the amount of guests. Parking cost $15 and the garage I had to park at was two blocks from the hotel. Parking at most hotels I have stayed was included. Both elevaters were old and needs maintenance. Room door handle would not open when handle was pushed down as normal. It had to be down then pulled up to open. Room promised on line was King bed facing courtyard, room received was two queen beds facing street.
Great room! Perfect for me while in town to audition for Jeopardy. :) Very clean, very comfortable bed. All amenities good. Very good breakfast. Awesome staff. Convenient to everything. MUCH better price that other nearby hotels. Parking spaces small in very tight garage but no biggie.
I am a 93 yr old woman travelling to see my daughter with a friend. We booked thru booking.com only to get to the hotel and find there was no reservation. The staff was wonderful and helped us even tho Atlanta was full because of bad weather. They got us a room and helped us with the shuttle Great young ladies.

The proximity of the hotel to major tourist attractions is great. Easy walking distance to the them all. The hotel was looked worn and rather unclean. The rooms were cramped. My TV did not work. After 3 attempts by the staff to make it right (and two comps on my bill) they move us to a different room. The staff did everything on their power to make it right for us, but I think they were handicapped by the facilities and resources available to them. Hilton needs to make an investment in this facility!
