Only thing I liked was convenient location and the service was very friendly. I can't believe this hotel has 4 stars. It barely feels like a hotel and its quite impersonal. The CNN aspect is interesting but the building feels like an office with the hotel as an after thought. The rooms are super out of date and there are no outlets that are easily accessible near the bed which is super annoying for plugging in devices. Also, you have to pay $15/day for internet. SERIOUSLY! Internet should be free and included in the price, PERIOD. The nickel and dimming is super annoying. It reflects how out of date the hotel is. I'm not sure how other ATL hotels are but I'd encourage you to find a better place to stay. I really hope ATL has better options than this place.
The valet parking took to long to get your car
Close to Phillips Arena The hotel is outdated; tried to charge us $3.75 delivery service for silverware; water in shower didn't drain.
Tim at the front desk was exceptional, his customer service was the best.
Desk manager mariadirty roo Dirty room. No wakeup call. poor valet service
Balcony was a plus My husband and I stayed for (3) days. Our room only cleaned 1 time. On that serviced day, only (1) towel returned, and I had to request a towel the next day. My son had the identical room and his wife had gotten ill one night, they had to call house keeping at (1am) to ask for a clean-up. The hotel staff came in and used a wet vac... to pick up (bio-hazard) vomit that had hit the floor. I'm sure this happens from time to time and you'd think they'd use some kind of disinfectant and clean more thoroughly the next day or on the occasion.. No other cleaning application was applied. Gross
Lobby was nice & location was good The carpet was stained and worn, and so was the furniture. The tub was so clogged that the water backed up to your ankles even in a quick shower. Valet never answered the phone and was slow even when there were four or five guys standing around. Self park is not even an option. Check-in was slow. View was horrible- we had an inside facing room. I've had nicer stays at budget hotels. Don't expect much from this place. Every amenity is charged separately.
Staff, food, and location were all great. Our vehicle was damaged after paying a $70.00 fee for 2 nights of parking and the staff basically told me we were shit out of luck on them even attempting to offer to repair the damages even though they were the only ones that had access to the vehicle. This was a very huge disappointment. We may pursue the matter legally.
Very nice hotel! N/A
We didn't know the limit until we had already booked and gotten the itinerary. Very inconvenient and we had to pay for 2 hotel rooms because we could not cancel. The staff we spoke to on the phone were unpleasant. We were calling to let them know we were going to be arriving late and it turned out we couldn't stay there at all. It would have been nice to know the fine print about the pet friendly hotel before I booked and paid.
Close enough we were able to walk to the venue and several choices of restaurants nearby. $35 added for required valet parking with almost an hour wait for our car to be retrieved.
Location is great. Easy walk to Phillips Arena and other attractions in the area. Valet parking attendants were wonderful!! Booked online thru hotels.com. Reserved a deluxe double room, with 2 double beds. Got the two beds, in a tiny single room with moldy bathroom in which the tub barely drains while showering, for $358.00. Extra charge for internet!! Called front desk after arrival. Told me they could not do anything about it as I had booked through a third party. Lesson learned.....go direct!
The hotel is probably the best in Atlanta. Especially if this is your first visit. It's pretty cool because you can go on the 72nd floor and see the entire city. Well the parking was terrible. We were really disappointed. We decided to self park vs valet, grabbed a ticket.. This parking garage is so tiny. We drove around looking for parking, ended up on the top floor. No parking. So we had to leave the parking garage. Paid money to drive around looking for a spot. We ended up Valeting. The next day we checked out, and came to find a note on our truck that another car hit our truck and ran. Good thing a couple saw and left their car info. Basically the parking is the worst part.
Incredible views. Within walking distance of almost everything Atlanta has to offer. Friendly staff, quick to respond to any requests at any time of the day/night. Our AC unit lost power at 11pm, they had it working by 11:30pm. ORDER A DRINK at the bar on the 73rd floor and then sit back and relax while the room rotates, giving you the best view of every part of the city. Worth the money. Only complaint - the beds in the double queen rooms are small, and do not comfortably sleep two adults.
Very nice room with amazing view of dowtown
The shower was nasty. Hairs in the shower and around drain. There wasn't enough towels.
Location Poorly managed and staffed. Rooms need insulation from the hallway sounds. Charged for Internet when I was told it was free as a Starwood member.
Close to all I needed, amenities were complete Noise, heard next room talking till 3 am.
View from the room was lovely. Used to having breakfast and parking included in the price of the room.
I loved how accommodating and welcoming they are for pets. The cost of the room based on the size. Was expecting something much bigger for the cost of the room.
TL,DR; List: - Clean and modern - Awesome view - Two blocks from Centennial Park and all the attractions there (Aquarium, Coke museum, etc) - The staff was pretty awesome and very friendly We were there for only two nights for a concert that was in the park, so the location was the entire reason I chose the hotel. The room was a tad small, but well maintained and modernly furnished. I wish they had glass doors in the shower instead of a tub and a curtain, as I have 3 kids that don't know how to keep the curtain in the tub and thus the water not all over the bathroom floor. There were a LOT of places to eat around the hotel, but most were either SUPER pricey or not opened on the weekend as the most likely catered to the business crowd. There is an underground mall that we found had a pizza joint and a chinese place opened. Waffle House is also a couple blocks away, and on your way to the park. We also walked over to The Varsity for lunch so the kids could experience it. It was about a 20min walk each way. Other immediate eateries I saw: Hooters (across the street, open till midnight), Hard Rock Cafe (also across the street), some brazillian steakhouse that looked AMAZING, a fish place named Ray's that looked pretty pricey, several bar-and-grill type places, and some cozy little place a block down that had a cute name that had southern food. Parking was crazy. My GPS took me to the smaller entrance, so I wasn't aware there was self-parking right at the hotel. It was $22 per day to self-park, but I ended up where the guard pointed me towards a block away for $20 a day. I would have rather paid the extra $2 a day and had the car in a more convenient location. Since we were just there a couple days, and had no intention of going anywhere in the car, the only benefit would have been packing our stuff into the car and taking off without having to walk through the city with all our luggage. The pool was a bit interesting. I loved the fact that it was inside, so even though it was raining all weekend, the kids and I were able to take a dip. It's a strange little pool, not concrete but rather some sort of plastic insert. The biggest let down was that we did not see a hot tub. Nothing better to relax after standing for a 4hr concert in the park than to relax in the hot tub. Also, to get to the pool (and the workout room), you have to go to the 9th floor, then over to another elevator off to the side, then up to the 11th floor. Seemed very strange, but I guess they may have added the pool later. Lastly, we found out the last day that you can go up to the tippy-top floor, where they have some observation decks setup. We got all excited, since the hotel is like 70+ floors, and we were told you can see several states away. However, we found out that it isn't opened until like 3pm, and being out last day and having a 8hr drive back home ahead of us, we were not able to actually go up there. Oh well, maybe next time. TL,DR; List: - No free wifi in the room - Parking is a mess, and valete is pricey - There are a few restaurants in the immediate couple of blocks, but most of the cheaper options were not open on Sat or Sun (not the hotel's fault, I know) - Most of the channels on the TV were not in HD or were VERY fuzzy - Pool is strange to get to, and no hot tub
The Westin Peachtree was a lovely hotel; we would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was that we went to the bar for some late night snacks/drinks and it took an incredibly long time for us to be served. The food took an hour and we only ordered a quesadilla! Granted they were busy, but I think they should've been able to handle the crowd since they are a well-established facility. There was no manager there to address the issue. That being said, we also ate breakfast there the next morning and the service was very prompt. Overall the hotel was really nice, clean and comfortable.
Great hotel with excellent service. - typical of a Westin! View of Centennial Park from the room was beautiful.
Location,luxuries ,clean,staff,view Valet parking
champagne at check in.
The employees No pool or jacuzzi. Or free breakfast
Location Room was tight. The did not take the effort to find my marriott rewards number ( did not have with me). would not consider an upgrade evin if I paid because I booked with this site.
Everything on the Room Service menu was excellent.
The beds, service, staff, everyone is here to help you enjoy and relax life. My favorite and only place in Atlanta I will stay.
I mistakenly booked a reservation here and called 10 mins later to cancel. I was told on the phone that I would not be charged anything for the cancellation but was charged $224 for not staying there. I understand cancellation fees but don't make promises you won't keep.
The staff at the hotel was without question second to none. I travel over 200 nights per year so I have a bit of hotel experience. The traffic at the front was a bit much, but the Valets manage it extremely well. The Valets are the best I have ever seen.
Great service and friendly efficient staff.
The Hotel while a Ritz Carlton also has a boutique feel, the rooms are exceptional in function and style. All of the staff that I interacted with were warm and friendly There was nothing I did not like
Next door to all of downtown Atlanta.
Rooftop Restaurant needs a remodel/ furniture could be upgraded. Floors as well in hotel hallways.
Very near to the place where I wanted to go House keeping was poor, for examples not proper bed making, no shampoo refill and no bottle opener in the room in spite of minibar facility, not enough help for sightseeing information.
Rude staff. Small rooms, that felt unwelcoming. Poor location for anything outside of every touristy sites.
Very convenient to the Olympic Park. And loved the trendy style.
The room was great, very comfortable bed. It can be a bit noisy as it is on a busy street. Sounded like we were in NY.
The hotel has a nice boutique feel. The bed was comfortable. We opted to pre-check the day before arrival and requested a spacious room from the options. The room we received was so small that there was no space to place our open luggage! Also, the shower was fairly small and no bathtub.
Clean and modern looking rooms. Enjoyed the rain showerhead and the view from the rooftop bar. The staff was friendly and handed us mojitos at the check-in counter. Parking is way over-priced. Rooms were a bit small but still comfortable.
This hotel is very well placed in central downtown Atlanta, I was able to walk to the World of Coca-Cola, cnn and the Centennial Olympic Park, as well as Phillips Arena and Georgia Dome. It is conveniently located to a marta station as well (as I had no luggage, I came straight from the airport). The room was very comfortable, there was a well-equipped gym room, and breakfast was awesome, with a chef that would cook eggs, pancakes, waffles etc at your request. Well... I was woken up at 1 am by the noise of an electrical drill in the neighbor room just outside my door - the guest there got locked out of the room and they couldn't open the lock with the magnetic card. I called the front desk, which explained what was going on and the noise stopped some 5 minutes later. The next morning, nobody seemed to know or remember what happened, but during check out, when asked about my stay, I mentioned the episode and they promptly excused themselves and offered hh points on my card as a minor compensation, which was the least they could do.
I enjoyed my stay
The comfort of the rooms. Cleanliness. We had money disappear from our room while we were away.
Location, location, location. I didn't like that hotel had no complimentary breakfast. I understand that the hotel has a very nice restaurant, but if you have to spend $15 on breakfast you can't afford to eat dinner in the evening at hotel. I think you will find that more would frequent hotel restaurant and bar if could have a little breakfast on the house. bagel, muffin , milk, juice , something simple for pregame. 24 hr pantry is nice for midnight cravings.
The location is perfect....steps to numerous restaurants and shops. Also a 10 minute drive to Atlantic station. The facility is beautiful with comfortable guest rooms and snooze adjust beds making your mattress meet your sleep needs. But the best part is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. Definately staying here on all my atlanta trips
Central location, friendly staff, good value for money
It was very close to the Georgia Aquarium and the Coco Cola Museum which is what we wanted to see in Alanta. I never like being charged fo parking.
we were let of the second night when we explained why it was not suitable location. amenities. lack of breakfast. loud air con. price of car park
Room and amenities were comfortable and quality. I didn't like the $30 valet parking charge.
Situated adjacent to Aquarium and CC World. Good choice of Restaurants in the neighbourhood
We loved our city view from our room. The staff was extremely friendly. The location was in near walking distance to restaurants and entertainment, and right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium & Centennial Park. No continental breakfast. You had to pay an additional $12.99 per person to eat. Also, you have to pay for parking (which is common downtown). Check your car once valet bring it back to you. We had scratches and scrapes on our back bumper.
Staff at front desk were outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. Great location. Room was dusty in places and A/C made a rattling noise. Lamp shade had hole in it. Plugs on lamps only worked when lamp was on.
Easy to get to using MARTA. No need to rent a car or get a cab from airport. We were able to walk to Centennial park. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had dollar wine cocktail hour. The carpet in room needs changing. Fourth floor can be loud
Location AC unit was noisy and couldn't be controlled. Next door to a Jazz club that plays loud music till 1am. Easily heard in the room.
Convenient. Staff was helpful and polite. Water pressure. No noise proofing. Uber could not find address. No hot water one morning.
The staff was friendly and professional. $30 per night for parking
Location was great. The decor was nice. The staff were helpful. The rooms are small for a family. Parking is tough and best to valet.
Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Did not have to wait for a room Excellent service Convenient to downtown and venue Extra clean room with all amenities Best place to say if in Downtown Atlanta
I like the closeness to things downtown (highways, shopping/dining), the comfy atmosphere and the staff There isn't a refrigerator in the room
They have a nice happy hour. It's also clean, quiet, and friendly. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm on business in Atlanta.
Great friendly staff, nice restaurant and bar downstairs. Great location in downtown Atlanta. Nothing.
Location: was accessible to the locations I was in Atlanta for. Staff were very inattentive. Door man just sat on a bench on his phone, never once opening a door, receptionists were unable to find packages I had had shipped there. Food was across the board poor: paper shreds in my granola, green eggs in my cob salad, incorrect sides came with my room service. Cleanliness: in the room walls were scuffed, their was just smutz on everything! Like the lamp, countertops, etc. I was expecting a 4 star experience like was advertised but I would have been better off staying at a cheaper chain.
Clean room, comfy bed Noisy (street noise + doors in hallway). Restaurant is terrible, don't waste your money. Gym is small but acceptable if all you need is a treadmill or elliptical---bring your device because all tvs broken in some way.
This was my third times staying here. It is always clean and the staff from the front desk to valet are all helpful and down to earth. It is close to everything I usually come to Atlanta for. It's within walking distance to the Georgia Dome for Falcons games, the aquarium, Coca Cola World and the Tabernacle that we see a lot of concerts at. My only compliant is it seems I can never get the room cool enough.
The staff could not have been any more helpful. They were never too busy to stop and answer questions or help us with anything. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location was wonderful as well - easy access to the aquarium, coke museum and centennial park.
Polite staff. The parking fee was $30 per day plus tipping valet each time you came and went. Traveling with two vehicles made us leave hotel.
The hotel was very pretty and clean and the complementary breakfast was really good. The parking rates are outraeous .....
The convenience of the location.
I stayed here because of its close proximity to the Georgia dome.
The Location Nothing
The Air kept shutting off all night.Motion sensitive. Poor system to stay comfortable.
Excellent staff, very friend and accommodating Rooms a little dated
It was near tourist attractions. And it had valet parking. The alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. After evacuating twice we did not get a good explaination as to what was going on and we should have gotten a discount or something for being woken up by an emergency alarm twice!
The two room suite is great when traveling with children. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. There was a sign on the door to the pool stating the hot tub was not working. However, it was but it was full of children. It would be good to have stricter rules for the hot tub. The corners of the room (behind the lamp and furniture) were full of dust.
Being close to all the sporting events arena's
Loved everything about this hotel. Especially the staff. Definitely need microwave in room.
Location in relation to business I had to tend to. There was no free parking and $30 to park was absurd.
The total experience was excellent. They only have Valet parking.
To give us a price quote that excluded a $30 a night parking fee was very deceptive. Not happy. Not really aesthetically pleasing. I did not care for the bedding. And a view of the parking lot was not the best.
The location was close to everything that i wanted see. The price was little high on room and valet.
It was great everything about it No! Everything was amazing,,
It's proximity to THE Americasmart was great
The location is close to everything, most things are walking distance We did not have a microwave
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
the code to the elevator made me feel very secure. really liked it nope it was good
Great location, friendly staff.
The staff was very friendly! The location was nice as well The valet parking was a TINY area, no room service, the restaurant wasn't open all the time,
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was very good with a great assortment. Even though I didn't need it, the kitchenette was super nice and well equipped. Location! We arrived at 12:30 AM. Circled the block for over an hour trying to find the hotel. Stopped at three other hotels that didn't know where it was either. Finally saw the marquis high on the building. There was construction around the front entrance and absolutely no identifying signs at street level.
The staff was excellent! They were very friendly and helpful. The unexpected social hour the evening we arrived was a nice surprise. The valet, Lonnie, was very helpful with directions getting around the city. Everyone was accommodating and seemed genuinely concerned that each guest was happy and taken care of. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. For a queen size, it seemed a bit small. Upgrading the mattresses in this location would take it to the next level of comfort.
the staff was very friendly and the convenience to everything was great. also the free breakfast was outstanding. I have al positive things to say about the hotel.
Beautiful lobby Room very small, paint peeling in all rooms, looked dirty. By vent towel with plastic bag taped to it.
Location and parking were great. The bathtub would not drain. Very gross.
The proximity of the hotel to major tourist attractions is great. Easy walking distance to the them all. The hotel was looked worn and rather unclean. The rooms were cramped. My TV did not work. After 3 attempts by the staff to make it right (and two comps on my bill) they move us to a different room. The staff did everything on their power to make it right for us, but I think they were handicapped by the facilities and resources available to them. Hilton needs to make an investment in this facility!
The staff were all friendly, and the room was pretty nice. Although the valet guys were really nice, they did get pen on my leather seats. the room didn't have a fridge.
restaurant was nice Only valet parking available; one-hour free wi-fi only
Room was very dusty! Bathroom fixtures were all loose. Bathtub did not drain properly. Room door was coming off the hinges.
People were fine Room, mainly the bathroom was horrible! Grout missing, mold on shower curtain. Disgusting.
Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was good.
You can't beat the location. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Cute room layout. Free cookies, coffee/tea, and fruit-infused water at front desk. Good free breakfast. During breakfast, the manager even walked around to all the tables and asked how everyone's stay was. He was very personable, as was all the staff. Excellent customer service. Overall incredible value. Hamptons seem to be really stepping up their game lately. The TV didn't work the morning of our checkout. Also, you have to pay for parking, but it's honesty not really a negative because you'd have to pay for parking anyway to do any downtown Atlanta activities.
It is fantastically well located, 2 blocks from Marta station and from Centennial parrk, and the hotel is nice. The breakfast is not very good , not "continental" one but mostly american.
I liked that when I put that "do not disturb" sign on my door for my entire stay.....they left me alone! I've stayed in some places that totally ignore the sign. Also....Hampton Inn & Suites has THE BEST BED AND PILLOWS EVER!!!
The room size was fantastic. Very clean. Great view. Expensive valet parking. I ended up parking over a mile away & took an uber which was less expensive.
I loved the staff. I have stayed in plenty of hotels from days to a week. This staff was hands down the best. Friendly from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I wish I could be name them all but it would be easier just to say the whole crew. It only made our stay that more pleasant. Even the shuttle bus driver went above and beyond for us and others. Right by Underground Atlanta...so it was different but a pleasant stay. Would I stay again. HELL YEAH! Location was not the best but not a deal breaker. I've stayed in worse for more.
Become a Marriott Rewards member for free and get hi speed wifi in your room! The view of Atlanta was great with all the windows. The space was huge, clean, and comfortable! All the staff was super friendly and helpful and happy! I would totally stay here again if I need a hotel in Atlanta. There was breakfast too" No recycling. They use disposables at breakfast; not environmentally friendly.
The staff was outstanding! The location is questionable.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. We drove around Atlanta for 20 minutes looking for the hotel as the GPS did not direct us properly. When we called the hotel for better directions the message that plays is something to the extent of "This mailbox is not accepting messages". I checked in at 9:50pm and was told the water would be shut off from 10pm until 1am. I quickly used the restroom and brushed my teeth not knowing how long there would be water. After settling, I went to the lobby to print my boarding passes for my flight the next day and the computer would not work. When I asked about it, I was told it hasnt worked for a while and was offered a ride to Kinkos the next day to print my boarding pass. Being that I was there for business I did not have time to go to Kinkos. When I woke up at 6:40 the next morning there was still no running water. This meant no way to flush the toilet, brush my teeth, or shower for my business meeting. Overall not impressed with my stay. They should have transferred guests to a different Marriott branch in the city that had running water.
The convenience of walking was great and the view from the room was probably the best part of the hotel Valet parking was too expensive yet the parking garage was around the corner, 5 mins walking, and not in the safest area of town. At the front door you had to carry your luggage up the stairs before putting it on a cart bc there is no ramp etc etc a wheelchair lift. The morning of check-out I was fixing the sheets and I found a hair stuck to the sheets (that definitely wasn't ours) in something that looked like snot. I almost threw up. I think the facility could be cleaner
Very scary area. Lots of vagrants and young men loitering. Room was okay, but the hotel advertised a lounge/bar which they closed over a year ago. There was no ice machine on our floor. Upon checkin, I was told there would be no water from 10 pm to 1 am ... I checked out at 8 am the next day and there was still no water .... therefore, there was no way to flush a toilet, take a shower or brush my teeth. The staff upon checkin, during my stay and checkout were excellent, helpful and kind.
The location was great. Not far from Philips Arena at all. We did have a problem with being so close to the park. They were having a music festival and it started up at 7 am the morning after we didn't get in until around 3:30 from concert. The room was so tiny you couldn't move. Clorox smell was so strong, both of us got a headache immediately. The carpet was soaking wet in the room. You couldn't walk on it without shoes. We were put right by the elevator, so we heard every single person that got on or off. For the price, this room was not up to par. It looked nothing like the photos on the site. I think we may have been given one of the "bad" rooms. I just felt dirty when I left.
It was not mentioned at booking that this hotel was undergoing renovations. I would not have stayed there had I known
15% breakfast at Waffle House and a block from Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, etc. This hotel was so difficult to find. When I entered the address into my gps I clicked on the one that was suggested. It took me to the NE street address, not the NW. I got to the center of the area around 5:00pm and it took me until 5:50pm to actually find the place. When I booked the place, it had a notice that the restaurant, bar, and pool were all under construction but I thought it wouldn't be so bad. The whole outside of the place was under construction and the only sign of the hotel at eye level said "AC Hotel/Marriot". I finally pulled into a lot behind the hotel and made it to the desk where they assured me, it was the Inn. They have valet parking for $25/day but it's a complete rip off because you can get cheaper parking on the same block for $15/day. The staff wasn't a problem, they were rather helpful. It was the fact that the only lights in the room where lamps, so it was dark when you first walk in. The renovations were pretty noisy on my floor and noisy guest would wake me up at 3am from outside the hotel and inside. I felt that it was overpriced for the condition it was in and will definitely book somewhere else next time.
The hotel is in an excellent location for downtown attractions and the GWCC conference center. I did not experience the same issues with cleanliness as other reviewers, but I will say the bathroom did look like it needed repair. The staff was extremely unhelpful. When we arrived to check in before a sold-out concert at the Georgia Dome, the check in system was down and the one staff member tasked with helping everyone was just standing there explaining the situation and not storing anyone's bags. Finally about 30 min later, he tried to manually check everyone in but was so disorganized we eventually found another staff member (who was on her cell phone and told us to wait) to leave our bags with so we could go to the concert. Later on in my stay, there was an issue with being overcharged for valet parking and a different staff member was very condescending to me while reprimanding me for the issue. I guess I should have just been happy she took the charge off? The parking is also very expensive and you can enter the garage from the basement of the hotel so I'm not really sure why I couldn't self park. Overall, if I didn't get such good pricing on this hotel, I wouldn't stay there again.
Convenient to downtown Staff. When we checked in earlier that day, apparently the lady never really checked us in bc the staff opened our door at 3 am bc it showed no one was occupying the room. That was fun.
Great value for location Like most hotels downtown parking expensive. There was some type of construction going and there was no restaurant in the Hotel.
Location Property under construction. Pretty beat up.
This hotel had a great location and was within walking distance to many of the top attractions downtown. The hotel entry is super nice, but the rooms could do with a bit of updating.
We had an early start and needed to stay close to the Dome. The hotel was perfectly located for this as well as Centennial park and we could leave the car until 3pm which was a huge bonus as we did not need to find additional parking. The hotel is a typical Holiday Inn but the front desk and valet staff make it amazing. Attentive, happy to help and keen to make sure you have everything you need. Just Fab!
Cleanliness and location Noise at early hours of the morning as construction is ongoing
First and for most the staff was amazing and helpful. Being so close to downtown attractions saved so much money on parking. Where to start, first I booked this room months ago, so I get that stuff changes but my biggest problem could of been fixed by simple things. First WE COULDN'T FIND THE HOTEL!!!!! Apparently sometime from the time I booked to when we showed up the hotel got bought out or something. The upper management must of decided to renovated the hotel. So when we showed up (around 11pm) the hotel didn't look open. so we drove around for an hour to find it asking 3 other hotels where it was and getting directions from a homeless person to find it and still missed it! Until we walked ALL the way around the building through the construction area to find the front desk. Second part of the reason I picked this hotel was the pool and breakfast, didn't find out about the pool till after we checked in. We were informed about breakfast but to loss out of the free breakfast with only a 15% discount at waffle house, was not what I was expecting because it was another way to save money we now had to spend. Also the construction workers started work early in the morning near the occupied rooms after such a late night trying to find the hotel, the wake up call sucked!!! We had no DO NOT DISTRIBUTE sign so the cleaning staff nearly walked in even though we called out telling them other room was occupied. I do want to point out that the staff was amazing and did everything they could to make up all of our complains. They make off the construction zone, put up an entrance sign, and got us a do not disturb sign. But all of these complaints could of been fixed by a simple call before our check in date to let us know what was going on at the hotel. So a way we knew what to look for instead of leaving us lost.
The only good thing I enjoyed while staying there was the location. Staff wasn't helpful at all. We were also charged for a half day because we checked out 10 minutes late. They didn't even tell us we were being charged it just showed up on our bank statement. Very unprofessional.
free internet access; downtown; convenience store nearby the water failed twice in one week; i reserved a smoking room and a non-smoking room was assigned to me; the breakfast is not very good.
Very clean, friendly staff, close to attractions. Only valet parking, nothing open after midnight around that area.
The kindness of the reception staff. The vicinity to the convention center and the metro (MARTA) station. MARTA transportation to and from the airport is more efficient than taxi. The rooms are not so clean. The environment seems unsecure.
Excellent, polite customer service Clean rooms Elevators behaved erratically, and the doors kept closing aggressively on boarding passengers.
The breakfast The bathroom was very small. the facet was not attached to the sink.
location needs to be remodeled
the location and breakfast bar The suite I stayed in had a window that was not covered and let light in all night long. Also the electrical outlets were loose. It was difficult using them. The room was clean on the surface but the hidden places were not clean; ie beside the bed and night stand. You could use new pillows for the beds.
It was clean, inexpensive, and it had free wi-fi and breakfast.
Location of hotel - neighbourhood.
close to coke and georgia dome work out room closed
Central location, good value for money compared to other hotels around. The sink in the bathroom detached from the wall! Water was flooding, I called the staff, but no one showed up for at least 40 minutes! The walls were not very clean.
