The staff always remembers us and are always so helpful, the food is great, they have a very nice bar area that we enjoy coming to after dinner, and once you get there you really don't have to get back in your car because the driver can take you most places!! A great place to stay for a weekend!

Cons: Asked for a quiet room, they confirmed a quiet room. After a late arrival, I was awoken at 07:00 the next day to jack hammering and drilling from the room next door, which continued until I complained at 08:00 (front desk did not appear to be aware, needed to contact engineering).
Room service forgot to include bring one of the items that was ordered and itemized on the bill until after I pointed it out that the item was missing.

Parking is expensive and wifi is only free for 24 hours.

Cons: We awoke about 3:30-4:00am to an EXTREMELY strong smell of marijuana...ugh..it literally was coming into the room through the door base and upon opening the door...the hallway was saturated. We had to put damp bath towels under the door to alleviate the odor. Also, my daughter called the room a couple of times from her work to only be addressed by a snarky hotel operator...otherwise a great stay...on a “high” note, I did mention my concerns to the front desk at check out and was addressed sincerely with a promise to investigate the matter.....many thanks...

Cons: Although the booking sites claim "free wifi" and "parking", both are additional. Parking is 30 dollars a night and wifi is 12 dollars a day.
When we came in the man who checked us in reassured us of this when giving us our keys. the lady who checked is out was very persistent about us paying parking per night. Essentially if you stay for a week expect a 210 dollar fee. This is not the valet fee, just parking deck fee. The woman at check out was very rude about this charge.

Cons: Front desk poorly managed my hotel reservation. They spelled my name incorrectly and dis not send me a confirmation. I called a week before and they could not find me. I booked another hotel but then I remembered I gave a credit card to hold my room at intercontinental. I called again, they were able to find me but my name was spelled incorrectly. I tried to cancel and they said it's too late to cancel. So I stayed 1 night and they had the wrong bed type. They gave me 2 double beds. I asked for a king and a baby crib. Then, my best friend tried to deliver me a birthday gift. When she went to the front desk, the front desk would not take the package because my name was still incorrectly spelled in the system. Horrible experience all together.

Cons: This was the worse hotel experience of my life!!! They had overbooked the hotel by a large number of guest and had to make arrangments for us at another hotel. The hotel was not in the location we wanted and they did not call and let us know ahead of time of the change so that we could arrive earlier instead of having to go half way across town to stay. The ast. Manager on duty was not appologetic and did not seem to care. I took it as this was a normal occurance by the way they acted.

Cons: From the moment I pulled up the entire staff was rude and not service oriented. The security guard outside was very rude which may have influenced my overall attitude. Then I get inside and the front desk clerk was very abrupt and also rude. It seemed like my family and I were an inconvience to her. She was having what sounded like a personal conversation and we interrupted her. The next two days the front desk personnel were very polite and helpful. The young lady who checked us out was great.

Cons: We was placed in the room that exposed to the lobby which is so much noise that I could not sleep proper throughout our stay which cause great danger when I driving without good rest.
The staff also very mean when I request for a change of room.
The room is designated for hard of hearing or deaf people so it have a flashing door bell which some one click in the middle of the night and wake us up scrambling because we thought it a fire alarm. This is terrible.

Loved the down blankets and pillows. The workout facility was nice and even had hand weights up to 30lbs. Found some nice restaurants nearby. Location is close to the interstate so easy to get around. Close to downtown but far enough away from to avoid busy traffic.

Cons: We arrived at 2 in the morning. Front desk clerk announced in a surly tone that even though we prepaid through Kayak and a third party, it was the next day and our reservation was cancelled. I asked him to please be reasonable and attempt to get the room back. He begrudgingly put forth the required effort to get us in our room.

Cons: The icemaker on our floor (5) was out of order. Cream and coffee in room was not replenished with room service. No shampoo or barsoap in room upon check in. (These issues were quickly resolved by the very friendly staff.)

It’s suppose to be “whatever whenever whatever!” meaning whatever you want you get and they kept that ideology! Up until the merger. The company has hired poor customer service close to that of concast and thier rude customer servic? “Amazing after I have stayed with SPG properties over a 100 nights and Bennett gold for over six years almost to lifetime platinum. I’m not sure it’s worth it in the last two years since the merger I would recommend staying with a Hilton property or atleast no W in Atlanta.. all the other properties are amazing. In the last year SPG has been the rudest company especially for thier elite money paying and lifetime memebers. I had my birthday in 2004 at a location I won’t discuss but the manager gave me a pair of silver W cuff links! I cried. When you spend 3 times as much for a drink, for food as well as a room! You are entitled to be left alone and not harassed. You are the boss. As long as you don’t bother another guest or in anyway offend another guest or employeee. They take notes on you during your stay so you’ll need to be careful or if you go to the “principles office.. paying your hard earned money ... Your best Be on your best behvior.” This is without any complaints from a single guest. It’s a small vacation it’s a fun time right! Wrong it’s a harassment and a racist hotel the W at Buckhead. Otherwise; they threaten you with a little black book on you, what type of girls you have and thier dresss they assume they are hookers little do they know who they are. See these hotels are to be the quality of the four seasons in vegas and they don’t touch them at all! Tyoukknever hear the Work “NO” you’ll be treated like royalty.. and that’s where royalty stay! Not at the motel 6 staffed W. The movies rentals on demand are designed so if you don’t like one you started and switch to another. They still charge you. This accounts for children movies as well. Even if you try to go back into an unlimited Movie type. Your movie/s are all charged even if you decide to return to regular Television you cannot go back to your Movie your required to reorder it! Simply stated the W has become a very racial staffed esrablishment but not only did this occur recently but recently before that at a sister property a representative called myself a “cracker” and my friend who I played football with for years a “Whop” all witnessed. I just get More and more poor customer service and it seems the W and a sister property will with be rude, argue or give a long term over 10 years client a hassle since the take over. In my life time it is some of the worse guest relations of any hotel name for the W in Atlanta. My personal life and my personal away time is that it’s either hard work or hard play and I should have smiles and “Yes Sir’s!” Especially; after all my loyalty, my friends, my ex’s, my aquantences and family. Try the Wesrin!!

Pros: The location can't be beat. The hotel restaurant is great, most of the surrounding, walkable restaurants are great, and the staff is upbeat and professional.
Cons: The bed sucks! It was flat and lumpy. The pool is the size of a kiddie pool, most shaded, so few sears even at 11am and no tables to eat at there.
The street noise is loud and my room was directly over the valet area so I could hear the noise all night the the people coming and going to get to the rooftop club.
The overnight fee for a car is a ridiculous $38. I live 3 miles up the street so I took an uber for $10. I still got charged for the overnight fee but they removed it later.
My stay was so lousy that at 4:30am I took an Uber joke to get into my own bed and try and claim any rest in my comfortable, quiet surroundings.
Also, the bathroom is so tiny that the sliding door basically brushes up against the toilet and the entire bathroom is open to the room. There isn't a privacy of partition wall.
If you are just going to Buckhead to drink your face off and pass out, this is a great location. If you wanted to try and have a staycation with a mix of sun, fun, and rest...go to the St Regis.

Cons: Kayak.com’s customer service people were worse than Comcast. gettig a refund for a reservation I had made 10 minutes earlier was the worst ordeal I’ve been through in a while. If kayak thinks that they are saving money by outsourcing call centers, they are gravely mistaken. That was the business thought process of the 90s that has proven to be detrimental to a company costing them well over the money they saved by moving their customer service operator over seas. The person responsible for this who works for kayak probably thinks he or she is a smart person when in fact they are slow and not innovative or creative. Time to fire someone. I’ve alreay trashed kayak on social media but I’m sure hey are already about to go out of business.

Cons: Yes, we only stayed there one night out of three. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable in our room. It was very noisy and we did not like having to walk outside, without security to our room in an unfamiliar location. The sheets were itchy as well.

We checked into hotel for a 'staycation' and wanted to sit by a pool during the day and get room service/watch movies at night and couldn't do either!!! Total disappointment and WAY too much money to not have basics like that. We ended up wandering through the mall because we had literally nothing to do there...

Cons: Considering how much the room cost, i expected a little bit more, but it seems like you have to be very careful on what you do or else you will incur extra fees. To start off, parking was an extra fee. When we checked in we were told that internet and use of the spa area was complimentary. When i tried to login to the internet, I was given the option to pay for a day of use or a couple of hours. When my wife went to the spa area and asked if she would be able to use the facilities for free she was told no and given a price guide. Now i didnt expect free services, but i did expect that when i am told the spa is complimentary i assume it meant free use of pool, steam rooms, hot tubs, etc. Don't get me wrong. I came to this hotel just knowing it was expensive, but the rooms value alone just did not meet the cost . After a stay here, I would like to explore a lower tier of hotel within the city. I truly think i could get the same value for a much lower cost

You either have to pay for valet parking or walk around the corner to pakr it yourself in a garage. If you park yourself you pay 'full day' price every time you pull in and out. Or at least that's how I understood it.
The hotel should just charge some reasonable price $10 a day and let you come in and out as your activities require. They nickel and dime you to death.
The valet parks a number of cars in the driveway for his convenience. I ended up scratching my rental car on a post because I could not get by the double line of parked 'valet' cars.
Breakfast service is confusing. You walk in and you don't know what to expect. No greeter, not enough waitresses. . had to wander around trying to figure out how to get some coffee (twice).

Cons: Upon arrival there were a couple of ladies dressed in very little walking back and forth in front of the hotel. That should have been my first sign that this was not going to be a good hotel for my family. I checked into the hotel and went out to the valet and requested a luggage cart. I was told that there were no luggage carts available. We waited about 30 minutes then I went inside to ask the front desk. I was told that sometimes guests hold those carts inside their rooms and they had no way of locating them. The lady seemed rather miffed that I had even asked her for a cart. The hotel has three elevators one of which is out of service. several times my family wound up taking the stairs instead of elevators because the wait was so long just to get an elevator. The inside pool area was not kept clean. My family tried a few times to take advantage of the cooked to order breakfast but the line was impossible long even at 6 a.m. by 10 a.m. we gave up and decided to stop elsewhere to eat. By far this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at definitely not what I was expecting in the Buckhead area, For sure this place has been added to my list of places to steer clear. The only staff members which did not act as though we were a bother were the bartenders during happy hour otherwise the front desk staff and many of the other workers seemed to really just not be happy individuals.

Cons: This was the worst experience at an Embassy Suites ever!!! The room had a musty smell to it when we walked in. The vanity and bathroom counter table legs looked like they had been kicked in and were not on straight. the shower had no hot water and the shower nozzle looked like it was about to fall off. Had to call front desk twice to get maintenance to come look at nozzle and hot water- took over 15 minutes to get hot water to our room.
Additionally, at midnight music started blaring through the walls in our room waking us up. We called the front desk to report it multiple times. Got up and went and looked for the music ourselves and called the manager on duty after 45 minutes of listening to music from the floor below us. The lack of response of security and the rude response from the front desk when complaining about the mid night disturbance was mind boggling. We had to get up for work that morning and being awake in the middle of the night was unacceptable. We will not be staying here again!!!!

Pros: The rooms had laminate flooring which made the room appear nicer.
Cons: There was a cockroach on the inside of the door when we walked in. The room didn't feel too clean, I didn't want to take me shoes off. Thankfully it was just a one night stay!

Cons: Dirty. Like the room was not even cleaned. Pee stains when I lifted up toilet seat. Also, toilet hard to flush...no water pressure yet the shower still backed up with water. Had to go to CVS across street to buy cleaning supplies and Lysol.

Cons: The whole experience was horrible! Amoma and kayak never sent out reservation the lady at the reservation desk was not helpful and they were arguing with us and some company jack travelers over the phone on speaker it was the upmost unprofessional experience I could encounter ! They had charged me for my room 3 weeks in advance and still could not accommodate me . There were no towels in the room the cleaning lady never cleaned until I asked her to on the 2nd day where she asked me to help her clean , I can't believe this hotel is up and running and I can't believe kayak is linked to amoma all three sites are a joke and not safe to book with , I will definitely be contacting the better business bureau also the manager knew we had a problem and left during is assistant was trying to help us ! Honestly the only two people that were helpful was Shawna and another guy that were trying to help us feel better but the whole experience was disgusting and a joke !

Cons: The first room we had, had ants, didn't look like the floor had been vacuumed, the comforter on the bed was a wrinkled up mess and there were a couple hairs on the sheets, and the AC unit was terrible. Our room didn't have a hair dryer. One lady told me to go down to the front desk to ask for an extra. They told me they didn't have any but I could walk across the street to CVS and buy one for cheap, and they don't have roll away beds either.

Cons: Bunch of construction workers hanging out outside our room drinking beer on the balcony. Felt pretty safe overall. Isn't really in buckhead area. It's really Druid Hills area.
