I cancelled and received some of my money back, so that is why I rated the experience "good." The partial refund was better than other companies and it was fast. Much easier to deal with than other companies. Evidently the pick-up and drop-off point is the train station, that was the address. I found this confusing since I was looking at a website that supposedly had airport pick-up and return. When I drove my rental car(from Budget) back to the airport, I saw the SIXT lot. So now I'm even more confused as to where SIXT actually operates. If I could figure this location out, I might try SIXT again.

Everything went smoothly. Staff were courteous. As we sat in our car trying to link it to my phone a rep came over and got it set up for us. I think he was not on duty which means he went above and beyond.

Pros:

Staff picking up car was OK. Returning car Staff, assistant manager was great and apologized.

Cons:

We rented and paid for a Chrysler 300 or silimlar like Camry and instead we got a small KIA Forte which is not similar. The KIA was too small for 4 adults adults 69 to 75 years old and was very hard getting in and out of this smaller car which made the trip less enjoyable. Felt like they should have upgraded us to a similar car which they said KIA was but said they would upgrade us for $120 more which was ridiculous. Happy with Kayak but unhappy with Sixt. Thanks and have a great and blessed day.

Pros:

The vehicle was very clean and was ready on time.

Cons:

The location of this Sixt is terrible and took forever to find. The address listed is not where the location is, it’s actually around the corner. And the parking lot for the vehicles is a block away. For pick up of vehicle with a bunch of luggage straight from the airport, this is incredibly inconvenient and I’m very glad the lady offered to get the vehicle for me. And at least there is a guy in the lot that you can drop the keys off with so you don’t have to walk back to “check out”.

Location does not allow after-hours key drop due to roving car-theft gangs. Maybe a better/stronger drop box could work?

Cons:

The person at the rental agency very tactlessly said they didn’t have any cars for the price I reserved the car for. He said they only have SUVs and that it would cost me $50 more. I was in a bind so I took it, but I felt swindled.
