Everything terrible. Long lines. Slow employees. The car was not ready after 2 hours of the pick up time.. It was dirty . Then they washed it after I rented it. The car with a crack in the windshield. With external damages. I had to take pictures in order to avoid problems because They didn’t disclose it. Hertz reservation was messed up, and the local staff could not update it. International help support was barely competent. “Upgrade” to the type of car I had reserved was incredibly expensive. Finally, the car had broken windshield wipers, a 60% full gas tank, a tire pressure warning and summer tires despite being rented in Denver. In all of this, their local and international staff was spectacularly unhelpful. Given the above, I expect Hertz will try to charge me an extra several hundred dollars for some imagined issue with the car - they have not yet sent a receipt.Reviewed Mar 19 2023

I was provided a Hertz car that should never been allowed on the road. The attendant informed me that the tire sensor was not working properly, but the tire was fine. After observing the tire after 2 days it appeared low. I had it tested and the senor was working correctly. I was given a car with a tire at 25 pounds and dropping. After adding air twice, I was lucky enough to get it to another Hertz location and they were able to substitute a new car for me.Reviewed Mar 13 2023

The Denver location (Welton) called the day of my reservation and said they didn’t have a car for me. Then told me “tomorrow isn’t looking good either.” Why wouldn’t I go to the top of the list the next day, if they didn’t have a car for me on the day I reserved? What stupid game are they playing. I have never experienced this at any rental car company. Thankfully, the Boulder location honored my reservation the next day. I had to get there, of course, and spend money on a hotel.
