|Open air all terrain||$63/day|
Pros: Pick up and drop off process was quick and efficient. Received a confirmation call several days before my rental.
Cons: Had to change location since the one where I originally booked closed. Enterprise helped to move my reservation to the closest other off-airport location, but it meant taking a 25 minute rideshare/taxi ride.
Cons: When picking up the car, the employees working we’re not friendly. Then I had to wait 2.5 hours to receive my car. Then the car they gave me was subpar. It was dirty, didn’t have windshield wiper fluid, was an old model, and of much lower quality than I was anticipating. I called and after many hours on the phone i was able to get another car that was much better, but I had to drive an hour out of my way to pick it up. Overall a pretty bad experience.
Pros: Minivan was very nice traveling with three small children.
Cons: Understaffed at the Stapleton-Northfield location. Incredibly busy staff renting a lot of cars and doing the best they can, but the waiting is unacceptable. If you're gong to do that much business hire the staff to accommodate your customers!
Cons: They are really struggling to provide even basic customer service and their fleet of available vehicles is terrible- high mileage and issues
Cons: The employees were clueless. There was initially an airport drop off fee of $150 that was ridiculous. So we then had to return to an enterprise far from the airport and pay $40 for an uber to the airport. It was infuriating.
Cons: It would be nice if this location existed. After $40 worth of ubers back and forth to the pickup location, only to find out that branch had closed, the Denver airport location told me my rental would be $450 more than what I had been quoted originally. Eventually the Denver airport location was willing to help. Let me be clear, the Tower Rd. location has closed down. Please stop accepting orders for them.
Cons: Our reservation had a time (12:00), but did not specify that was strictly the only time to receive the car. I assumed we had until closing time. We were not contacted and our car was given away. I realize this was my fault, but I am suggesting the confirmation email indicates that the timing specifies the hour is a strict appointment time, which I was unaware of.
Pros: The staff worked very hard to accommodate our needs
Cons: When we arrived, they did not have the car that we had reserved. This was very upsetting, because we reserved the kind of car we did for very specific reasons. We ended up having to go back the next day to get a car that was more in line with our specifications. This put us behind schedule and was an added new since we really didn’t want to have to deal with.
Cons: We were directed to the rental car building at the airport, and when we got there we found a piece of paper on the desk that told us we had to walk across the parking lot to a different location. Once we walked across to the other location, we found another piece of paper that told us to call an entirely different rental agency. From a DIFFERENT rental agency we were told to go across the highway to their location because that National location was unstaffed and all rentals were being taken over by Enterprise. Therefore, we had to spend even more money to get another ride to that location. A simple email telling us the situation would have avoided all of this and saved us 40+ minutes, as well as save us money. Once we were there, the salesman tried to “upgrade” us with a minivan that had worse gas mileage and far more space than we needed. After settling in a different car, we found out the VW Tiguan we’d been given was hardly cleaned. On top of this, the vehicle was nearly out of oil, and halfway to our destination the car warned us to put more oil in. So, we had to spend even more money to ensure the car had enough oil to get us to the destination and wasted more time to stop and buy oil to put into the vehicle. Also, it had no wiper fluid. It was clear the car had just been offloaded to us with no effort. I’ve never been more frustrated with a company and their lack of effort to make the process fluid whatsoever. I feel like I lost out on time and money during this whole process, and was very unhappy about my experience.
Cons: Having more cars available. I was given a van at first and then had them switch it out to a car an hour later when a car became available.
Pros: The low price offered by Kayak
Cons: Enterprise discriminated against my disability and my physician’s mask exemption letter. As someone who is immunosuppressed the mask order in Denver is so important to me. Not only did they disregard the mask order but when I called attention to this fact, they attempted to refuse me service. Additionally, they put my life at risk by not properly maintaining and wearing masks. The car was not sanitized.
Pros: Friendly helpful and respectful
Cons: The cars can use a exterior wash
