The bed was not that comfortable and hard. The sheets were scratchy and the room was cold. For this brand/price hotel, i expected a more luxury bedding and warmer more comfortable. Loved the coffee shop in the lobby and the house made pastry. The barista was VERY friendly. The check in staff was nice as well
Limited views of the bridge plus limited privilege for Platinum+ members (inclusive of upgrades). Hotel itself is a bit worn.
Pros. Great room. Extremely Friendly and professional staff. Clean and comfortable. Great location
Cons. Nothing
Cons. No sit down breakfast!!!!
Pros. We had a drink in the Grand Room bar, nice ambiance.
Cons. The new decor is, frankly, tacky. The bed wall photo mural of the Brooklyn Bridge, in the rain, out of focus, makes the room feel cold. The graffiti art in the foyer is pretentious nonsense. We ordered (in the Grand Room) two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and were served Chardonnay. I gave up trying to attract the waiters attention and drank it.
Cons. Nothing
Pros. Very easy to get in and out of Manhattan from this location. Well priced.
Cons. It cost $20 a day for Internet. No free breakfast.
Pros. This place is fine but by the time you add up all the extra charges - city taxes, state taxes, etc... what you thought was a decent price becomes 100 more. Next time I will select a lower price to start.
