Pros: Quick check in, car was a bit dirty. Not up to Budget standards. Friendly employees.
Cons: The bill I received for this car was ridiculous. I prepaid for a tank of gas and then they charged me for not filling it back up. I dropped it off at 7am in the key drop box and then they charged me for an extra day because they said I didn't turn it in until 6:33pm. What a joke. Don't have a key drop box if you aren't going to trust people and check it more than once a day. Choose someone else other than Avis/Budget for your rental in Asheville. It is NOT worth the headache.

Return was poorly managed- inconsiderate agents
Cons: Return was atrocious - considering we had hurricane in Houston Budget return location was closed/no answer for days - hence I was unable to return the car on the day scheduled - I was asked to go to the site and see if they have drop off or maybe phone lines are not working. I kept burning the fuel and my time. When I retuned after they opened at a different location then I was charge fuel, which in itself was not what i was told by Budget main service nos. It was at a rate of almost $9 per gallon..which is price gouging and outrageous behavior by a company which should be more considerate of people in Houston area which suffered a lot during the hurricane. This was simply worse than poor customer service.

Picking up and dropping off was a headache
Pros: I liked the actual vehicle.
Cons: Picking up took forever then the guy kept trying to up sell me. I was renting a vehicle for one day, I had reserved a Chevy Tahoe he tried to give me a Mercedes Benz for $150 more. Unfortunately he said they didn't have a vehicle in the class I asked for. So he gave me a Surburban and it ended up being $240. Upon dropping the vehicle off the next day all the drop off entrances were blocked off, no one was at the booths and no one was visible at all. Sonindrove around the outside of the lot a few times and finally I saw someone and he let me in and said that the person who was working the entrance was sitting in a vehicle near the entrance and should have helped me. When I checked the vehicle back in they charged me another $43 of insurance because I had the vehicle for an extra hour. I told the man what happened and he said he couldn't do anything about it. I drove back in the middle of the storm to check this truck in at 12pm. I arrived at 12:15p and the truck was checked in at 12:40. Smh I love Houston but not enough to pay $300 for a one day rental that wasn't even the class I asked for.

Pros: I didn't have any experience to like.
Cons: I was allowed to book a rental without proper information on whether debit were allowed or not. I got to the car rental office, all prepped to go, only to be told that I couldn't pay with either debit card or cash. You could have just included that at the booking site so I won't have had to make the trip to your offices only to be turned down and to make another frustrating trip back to find any viable transportation to my planned destination before it was too late.
