When we got to the Budget desk to get the vehicle we had reserved, there was a long line of others also waiting to get their vehicles. We were informed that they did not have the vehicles there, but had to wait for vehicles to be returned and cleaned. All of this happened at 11pm! After 2 hours of waiting to get to the desk, we were given a vehicle and told it would be in a specific spot. When we got into the lot, there was no car in the spot. We asked the desk down there and they were more helpful, but said they were not sure why they told us there was a vehicle. They were able to bring a vehicle straight from the cleaners after trying to give us an expired car seat. The car was not fully cleaned and the overhead light was hanging from the ceiling along with other side panels. We will NEVER rent from Budget again.Reviewed Apr 2 2026
