Know that you have to take 2 trams from your gate to the RCC center. 2nd thing on many of the navigational units when returning to RCC it will tell you to return the car on the left when in reality most are on the right side of the garage.

Always check the cost they charge if you do not refuel the car. Also taking the offer during rental for them to refuel might sometimes be cheaper. At my time of booking it was 2.99 per liter while gas was selling for around 3.50

Driving in College Park was a wide open. It was a lot of distance between the traffic signals; so you could make up time if you were running tardy. The lanes were not cluttered with a lot of vehicles and the drive to and from the rental car was full of gas stations. You could see planes right above your head. The kids were excited about the closeness of the view of the airplanes.

I called and confirmed that there would be a car for me. Keisha said yes there was a Nissan SUV for me, so I rode to the airport to pick it up. When I got there, the people at the counter said there was not a car for me.l and that they do not take same day reservations. I told them I spoke to Keisha and she said there was a car here for me. They said “customer service doesn’t know what inventory we have. We don’t have any cars, and no one else does.” Why would Alamo let me make a reservation if they didn’t have any cars or accept same day reservations? So frustrating. They offered no help either.

I still had to purchase there collision because they “don’t accept third party insurance”. Staff was not friendly. Supervisor said I. A loud open forum to all, “I know you are frustrated because your flight was canceled but we have all been here since 7am, if you would like to speak to the Supervisor, I am right here and will happily not rent you a car”.

Terrible pickup. Spent 4 hours waiting for a car that I was supposed to walk to with keys in it. I had 3 little kids in tow, one is 2 mths old. The attendant at the Gold counter made my wife cry while I was sent to the wrong line to check in.

The car was not the car in the ad. The passenger side mirror was misaligned and had to be fixed. The car maintenance came on whilst driving and undiscloed 250 fee was assessed for taking the car to a different airport for drop off. On a one way trip this should be disclosed before I get to the airport.

Customer service desk in Atlanta leaves a bit to be desired. Woman at the desk never looked me in the eye. No joy in her voice, no emotion at all. Not sure if she was at the end of her shift or what, but seemed more concerned about what the lady next to her was ordering for dinner.

90 minute wait on a Monday at 340pm. Three workers taking up to 10 minutes per customer with about 50 in line. To make matters worse, I looked at every single other rental car agency's line at ATL and most were just walk right up to the counter, or literally 2-4 customers in line vs Avis' 50. But the Avis system would not let me cancel the reservation ("free cancelation" that I could not use via their website). Absolutely pathetic and would not use them again if the car was free.

Was able to book on short notice. Counter agent was good, but I did get charged for insurance I didn't want. Am seeking reimbursement. They needed more agents-long line and wait. Reserved a Camry, but got a Ford Escape with 72k miles. Expensive rental. Didn't have my Wizard # with me; they wouldn't take it later. The car had a steering wheel issue-kept sticking each time I moved it.

Counter workers at Atlanta airport are in their own world. Line of 7-8 people and they sat there for 20+ min not helping any customers. Once they finally decided to help, the coordinator I worked with was rude and unpleasant. When returning in Birmingham, it was a similar experience. First and last time I will rent from Avis.

Our rental car broke down on the highway. Enterprise transported us to this location and promised a replacement. When we arrived the Manager would not give us another car until the original car was towed to them. AAA said it will take hours to do so. So, our six hour car trip was delayed by 24 hours and we ended up renting another car from Hertz. Then it took three days of calling to customer service to get a refund. STEER clear of Enterprise at the Atlanta Airport. This was my worst rental car enperience in 38 years of renting cars. HORRIBLE and incompetent staff.

After changing flight and getting a reservation with enterprise I was told they had no cars available. Their policy is to accept reservation with 24 hours of pickup, but cars are not guaranteed. Thankfully, Budget had cars available.

This was my first experience with Enterprise. The Alpha Romeo Stelvia I rented was in fair shape but I have never rented a car that had over 40,000mi on the odometer! For the money I'd like to rent a younger car, especially if it's a "luxury" car. I'll give Enterprise one more chance.

A couple of things were negatives. 1) They apparently have a restriction on which states you can travel to in the rental car- although this didn’t affect my plans this time, I could see how it might be a negative if I had plans to travel to one of the restricted states. 2) Despite arriving at the car rental spot around 9:00 pm on a weekday and there not being a line at the counter- the company rep advised me that there would be up to a 45 minute wait to get my car ready- when I asked if there was anything we could do to avoid the wait- she advised that we could upgrade and get a car immediately. This suspiciously appeared to be a bait and switch tactic. Especially since it was not busy and I had a reservation which put them on notice of the rental. I WILL NO LONGER BE RENTING FROM ACE.

Pickup was a very long process - it took us almost 2 hours to get a car. We were promised a $35 credit and were upgraded to a hybrid SUV. Returned on time but billed extra even after discount. Not a great experience although the car itself was clean and comfortable.

I liked after I got past the counter to rent the car. Going out to the garage and getting the car and returning it is great. The suv was new and clean. What I didn’t like was the person at the counter couldn’t put an email in the system correctly. I gave them multiple emails and they could not enter until I came around the counter and learned they kep adding 2 @ to an email. Also the fact that they would not let me rent the car unless a proper email went thru I don’t agree with especially I provided all of that information at the time of renting the car thru Kayak. Don’t understand how the email address doesn’t just systemically transfer. It was not the first time renting from Ace. Finally, the person at the one counter couldn’t print my paper work and I had to wait while the other counter person finished with someone else before they would print it. Not a good experience. But after that it was good.

Pros:

The staff was friendly at first until she stated the vehicle size I purchased weren't returned yet. Normally when a rental company is at fault you receive a updrade but no. I had the option to wait a hour to hour and half or more for full-size car to be returned. Then when I took the option to get smaller car my price difference wasn't given then. I was charged the peice for full size and she would send email to manager for them to try and give price credit. As of now I still haven't received email stating what that refund will be or when given.

Cons:

The car smelled first like cigarettes and later as the day grew it smelled like weed. That smell didn't leave the vehicle the entire time I rented it.

Pros:

The staff was friendly and the drop off was very simple.

Cons:

It was very difficult to find the kiosk, and the wait was very long. The car was dirty inside and smelled VERY strongly of smoke. I bought air fresheners and rode with the windows down a lot. The tires were not balanced -- the passenger side were both over 36 and the driver side were at 28/27. I had to put air in the tires twice while I had it.

They have an arbitary limit that cars can only go to AL, SC, GA, and FL. I needed to go 5 hours away to NC, that would just barely get me across the Florida line.

the did NOT have my car - or ANY car for that matter my reservation for for 7:00 - the sign at the counter said that no cars are available until 8:30 I asked them for a car, ANY car - nothing was available they "over" book online w cheap rates and then hope to figure it out later i ended up renting from AVIS - they had cars left
