I reserved a vehicle on carrentals.com and was offered renters insurance at $9/day. There was no option to pay online but i reserved at that price. When I got to the aorport they did not honor my renters insurance price and tried to charge me $29/day. Horrible business practices and unprofessional company. I don't want to blame Budget as a company, but the man behind the counter flat out lied about the rate and what we signed. Yes, you should always read what you sign, but when someone tells you what it is, you expect they are being truthful. Customer service reimbursed 20%, but we never should have been in that position.9.6 Wonderful

Not much. Stood waiting at the counter while the agent was engaged in a personal conversation with someone without a mask. She could not answer questions about the drop off, and could not provide a phone number for the drop off location. Was overcharged for a full tank of gas at the dropoff location, which I will dispute. Refused a paper receipt at dropoff and was told I would get an emailed receipt. When I questioned what the charge would be for fuel, the agent said he did not know. The emailed receipt shows a charge for a full tank of gas, when the tank was over half full. That charge will be disputed. I will try to avoid Thrifty in the future.Cons:

Cons:
It was a hybrid car. There were a lot of features that wasn’t familiar with like the figuring out the gas vs electric or how to use the air via the touch screen. The car was comfortable and drove smooth but I almost wish it wasn’t as fancy. Felt like I needed to read the manual before getting in. LEnterprise Rent-A-Car

Pickup and drop off was close to the terminal in both locations.Cons:
Two things: 1- Picking up the rental took entirely too long (25 minutes) to bring the car to us. That left us waiting outside in a parking garage in the heat with a 14 month old. 2- Our rental was out of oil at the time of pickup. Avis’s solution was to tell us to go put oil in it ourselves.5.6 Fair
