The best thing about this particular hotel is that it is very close to my company's office location in Houston. Other than that convenience, it is a sub-par hotel. The rooms are outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The walls and even the ceiling in the hotel room were marked up and dirty. In the bathroom, the ceiling was bubbled up and discolored, clearly from water damage or a water leak...

Staff was sort of rude. Internet was down for two days. When I asked about it I was told to go ,”if it that important, go to the Burger King down the block.” I valeted park and the attendant was never to be found. Twice someone else came and found my keys and I had to go get the car my self. Another time the attendant was at lunch and we waited over 45 minutes for him to come back.

Pros (+) The room was fine. Comfortable pillows. AC worked well. A few hairs in the bathroom but overall clean.
Cons (-) One person working in the late evening after 10pm. A 12 story downtown hotel with ONE employee. They lock the doors at 7pm, and the ONE employee sits at her desk in the back room where she can't see the front door. We stood out with the homeless people and the smokers puffing away, awkwardly waiting with our bags. Finally a hotel guest let us in and then mildly scolded us for not using our room ke...

Pros (+) Lakewood Church was across the street no need to fight the traffic
Cons (-) Typical for the south mold & mildew issues in our room. In AC vent & bathroom ceiling. We weren’t in the room long enough for this issue to ruin our trip.
