Trevor, Feb 2025 - Hyatt Place Houston Downtown
Poorly trained staff that are generally friendly but unprofessional. It’s poorly run on all levels, across departments - which means it’s probably the fault of the owner (Patel family, Pride Management). I’d be pretty upset if I were Hyatt and I saw how this owner/manager was representing my brand. I wouldn’t stay again.

Very bad location, so many sketchy things going on, this hotel needs rebranding to a quality inn, has nothing to do the name Hyatt I’m used to

Brittany, Feb 2022 - Hyatt Place Houston- Northwest/Cy-Fair
The front desk woman did not compensate us after their refrigerator was broken and we lost over 50$ of food from spoiling. They did replace the refrigerator after we asked. The lack of vending machine is purposeful as they charge well over the market price for water and drinks at the front desk.

Pros (+) It's a very convenient location, rooms are clean and spacious. Great value for the money.
Cons (-) nothing really not to like, overall it was a pleasant experience and this trip was only a couple of days. But a quick note that the area in general is not a very safe area, so don't recommend walking around.

Pros (+) We experienced outstanding customer service during our stay. There was a young man, Johnny, who worked at the front desk and was particularly attentive to our needs. The breakfast workers- Ms. Loretta and Mr. Keith were very friendly and helpful. Our shuttle drivers were also very accommodating. The facility was very clean and comfortable, but the people who worked there by far made it a great exp...

Pros (+) I enjoyed the stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. The main reason was the front desk employee. "Summer" was very friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in the door. Not only was I greeted by a smile but she took the time to give me directions and locations of some key places that I needed. I felt kind of bad for asking so much but she did not seem to mind at all.
Cons (-) House keeping would come by and check to see if someone was in the room before check out time. I use that time to sleep.

Cons (-) comforters had seen better days...were very worn down. Further from airport than I would've preferred.
