Pros (+) The bistro and courtyard outside were very good. The staff was super attentive. My room was spacious and clean.
Cons (-) The TV was not flexible. Couldn't watch it head on while lying in bed. Rather, I had to watch from a side view. It was tethered to the wall and could not change viewing angles.

Pros (+) Overall Hotel was pleasing in appearance, clean, and nice staff. Bed was soft and comfy, as were the pillows and comforter.
Cons (-) Bistro didn't open till 5pm. Also only had frozen pizza. Had to pay $5 for our 2 cups of coffee. No complimentary coffee in the lobby.

Pros (+) The staff did a great job at checkin. They set us up with a room right next to the pool on the fly. The salt water pool with sliding doors that open right next to it were fantastic. You basically get two entrances to your room. If your kids love to swim definitely stay on the first floor. The staff is responsive and friendly.
Cons (-) Unfortunately since it is family friendly if a football or other camp/tournament is in town you are screwed. Screaming adolescent kids running up and down the hall without supervision. Apparently some parents are only too happy to go get drunk and get away from their brats. Call ahead and see who else is booked there first.

Pros (+) Nice room.
Cons (-) Some kind of obnoxious rental event in the ballroom filled the hotel lobby with low-rent (non-staying) types. (No, not black) Also, this same event filled the parking lot to over-flowing so that paying guests had to circle the lot for 30 minutes hoping to luck into an open spot. Decide whether you are running a hotel, or a "special events" venue.

Pros (+) There are so many nice things about the Marriott Columbus west. It's a great location close to shop stores and leave my family's home. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Clean facilities.
