Okay
Walter, Aug 2025 - Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla
Very well located to UCSD university and medical center, as well as shopping/restaurants. Just a few miles from the beach. Smoke alarm was hanging by the wires, toilet handle was missing a plastic nut so it was tricky to flush, two basic maintenance items. Bed very firm. Cute koi pond, very good breakfast in a classic Embassy Suites atrium building. Staff helpful. Didn't check out the pool but you...

Jordan, Sep 2020 - Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla
Pros (+) Love the hotel in general and rooms
Cons (-) Called ahead for an early check-in but ended up waiting about 3 hours before finally getting into a room and we were in a time crunch to make it to a wedding. Also we paid for parking but there was no parking available so we had to call someone to help us who instructed us to park in the handicap parking

Ketul, Jul 2019 - Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla
Cons (-) The cleaning staff started they vacuuming right outside of the rooms at 5am. Also, none of the promises that were made to me in terms of service were taken care of. They lied to appease me and then no follow thru.

Amber, Mar 2019 - Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown
Pros (+) The staff was friendly and accommodating. The Location was awesome.
Cons (-) Parking/Valet rates are insane. Wanted a King room but were put in a room with two very short beds (my husband is tall so he was very uncomfortable). Room service did not have any vegan options so we ordered a pizza with no cheese and a side of fries...the fries came covered in cheese. It would've been helpful if they asked us about cheese on the fries since we ordered a pizza without it and didn'...

Pros (+) I love the embassy suites, awesome breakfast, and happy hour.
Cons (-) Downsides are parking is $30, which is ludicrous, and you have to pay for WiFi, it’s 2018, that should be included for free

Lynn, Apr 2017 - Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla
Pros (+) The lobby is beautiful with Koi ponds and waterfalls. The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating, which was fantastic. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room service was delicious and fast, and the staff that delivered it was so friendly! The complimentary breakfast was awesome as well, with made to order omelettes and such. There was also a free happy hour, which made it very easy t...
Cons (-) The bathroom. While it was clean, it was just "eh". For the price of our stay, I expected a bit more. It had a standard tub, with a standard shower head, that did have a few settings. It would have been nice to have a larger tub, or a jetted tub, with a removable shower head. It also seemed that the room above us was not carpeted, so we were able to hear luggage rolling around up there occasionall...
