Breakfast is not good. Poor quality and service.

Jessica, Dec 2023 - The Westin San Diego Bayview
Rooms were small. No convenience store to redeem food and beverage credits. Housekeeping did a poor job, including not emptying trash or refilling coffee station. When I complained, they didn’t honor my request to receive the points instead of housekeeping as they had originally offered. Overall disappointed with this Westin and won’t be staying here again.

Time capsule. Pay per view in rooms no streaming it’s eery. Room renovations way over-do. I miss the green lights comprising Emerald City - at least then it had a memorable identity.

Sean, May 2019 - The Westin San Diego Bayview
Pros (+) Location was great, so easy to get to all the attractions around San Diego.
Cons (-) Be aware of the DAILY concierge charge... When I check in it seemed part of your hotel booking charge but it is an additional fee. Really frustrating and sneaky of the hotel.

Cons (-) Communication with room service and reservations.... I wanted to extend my trip and I was on hold for over 25 mins and finally hung up and just went to the lobby to extend my stay.

Pros (+) When I booked I was not aware of the labor dispute with picketing union employees using bullhorns from 7AM-11PM everyday. The staff inside was amazing, but they cannot stop the loud protests.

Tris, Sep 2018 - The Westin San Diego Bayview
Pros (+) Location is fantastic, being only 2 blocks from the Amtrak and a short walk from Gaslamp Quarter and Little Italy. The bedding was amazing, and the deluxe room was very large and comfortable. Wifi was also good and fast. Service is pretty good.
Cons (-) Hotel is a bit dated in its decor, and some of the lifts have a slightly funky smell. They can only swipe your credit card so you'll need to activate it before going. Some facilities are missing, e.g. bathroom slippers, kettle, etc.

Santiago, Aug 2018 - The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter
Pros (+) The rooms the location and the beds
Cons (-) They charge you 25 dolars extra for a program where you can choose 2 beer or bicicle ride or an 1 hr tour on the bay but maybe just maybe you are not interested but you still have to pay. And the overnight parking is 50 dólares abussive.
