Cons (-) Locks on door had loose screws, several outlets and switches had masking tape over them. Several holes in the wall were covered with masking tape, drain in shower seemed unclean and could have potentially caused injury. Did not feel safe in the environment.

Pros (+) Very close distance to pretty much all of downtown San Diego. We walked from the hotel to the ballpark, convention center, downtown, the waterfront and more. You can really immerse yourself in San Diego from this location. I liked the ice machine because it had no wait time and produced quality ice chips. The hotel has a structured layout with an elevator and staircase making it easy and accessibl...

Pros (+) Staff was friendly & opened breakfast early one morning.
Cons (-) Sketchy neighborhood to be generous. Sink was a slooooow drain. Smoking room has cigarette burns in tub. Not an attractive room at all!

Cons (-) Hotel room was dirty, carpet torn, internet did not work and bad smell in room. Recommend that the room be refurbished and up dated. Otherwise take the hotel off Kayak's list of hotels.

Pros (+) I love the fact that there was a lot of stores and restaurants nearby, and also the Marine Corps Recruit Depot wasn't that far either.
