We were "upgraded" to a Ford Explorer-too big of a car for us. We asked for something smaller and agent said she'd change the vehicle. When we arrived at the car...it was a Ford Explorer. We were tired from a long trip and didn't want to drag our bags back and wait in line for another hour to fix it. We took the car and then tried to call a few days later to arrange an exchange. Could never get through to a live person and got hung up on by the automated number 2x. Beyond this, agent kept forcing insurance coverages on us. We wanted the collision...she was relentless and literally forced us to buy more. We got tired of arguing with her about it. Will never use Dollar again.Reviewed Feb 23 2025

Car was unavailable at scheduled reservation time online so I had to wait in line to talk with agent to get the car. Car was washed but all windows were still wet leaving water spots on all windows and exterior mirrors.Reviewed Jun 20 2024

Had to wait 20 minutes for a mid size car since they were all out. Sales lady would only allow you to use a credit card with the driver’s name, not spouse’s name even though the reservation was made under me and they had already charged a deposit on that card.Reviewed Nov 24 2023
