Was allowed to rent a car past the time that the rental car company was open. Flight coming in was delayed so I hopped on different flight to this location, planning on renting a car to drive back home. Ended up being stranded in JFK for a night as I was never able to rent a car and all other places were booked. When we got to the car rental place they said there wasn't any cars, we explained that we booked through Expedia and the last was very rude to us. We then booked through hertz and had brilliant customer service and a lovely car. I'd highly recommend Hertz and will be avoiding dollar.Reviewed Feb 21 2024

Pros:We arrived with 4 large bags weighing over 250lbs only to be told they were “out of cars” and they had no idea when more would be available. Didn’t matter at all that we had an existing reservation for an SUV. This caused us major disruption to our trip and a lot of stress. It forced us to take an expensive Uber to our destination and rent a car at a different location at a much higher prices. Will not be booking with Kayak or Dollar again.
