Insurance payment at booking time was about 400 dollars, but at counter desk raised to 1200.... crazy. Free additional driver at booking was about 80 dollars at pickup. Only few states are included, moving to the most states you have to pay daily, you drive toll roads, you have to pay to daily processing due. The rental facility is not run by Ace but rather by a servicer who employs poor quality reps. The person I death with tried to upsell me on a much more expensive car than I ordered, tried to slip an exhobitantly priced insurance policy into place and then demanded a $500 deposit on top of the full cost of the rental on my debit card, or $350 on top of the rental on my credit card, when other rental companies require only a $200 deposit. A completely unacceptable performance. I went to Avis and got a better car for the same price, with a lower deposit.Reviewed Apr 17 2023

Horrible service. Forcefully tried to decline my own insurance and sell their own for $25 per day. Had to wait for 2 hours to pick up the car when there were no customers waiting. Gave me a car that had no smoking sign but had horrible smoke smells in it. I was told by the reception that if they find smoke smells in the car, they will fine me $400 for cleaning purposes. When I told the car check out person about the smoke smell, he replied, “don’t worry, it’s ok.” It seems the entire facility is there just to scam peoples money!!!Reviewed Feb 16 2023

The worst, after the quick bait and switch to nothing. They told me that all of their cars were returned last night with damage and they had no cars available to fulfill my reservation and left me stranded. They suggest ed another service for close to $500 a day! I’m looking into actions I can take legally or follow up with a government protection/watchdog agency! I will never rent a car in this way again. The car company was actually "Drive-O" - never heard of it, never want to have anything to do with it ever again. Way too far away from airport. Had only 1 shuttle so the wait for that was way too long. Processing took way too long and was chaotic, overly complicated, and ridiculous. Customer service consisted of confusion and rudeness. This outfit is utterly sketchy and suspicious. Needs to be completely revamped or shut down.Reviewed Oct 16 2022
