Booked thru Kayak and was delayed in picking up due to Southwest Airlines cancelling our flight. We picked up early morning the day after we were to pick up. Reviewing my credit card statement they charged me separately for another rental. I called Fox/Europcar twice to appraise them of my status and was told "no problem". I am now waiting on a response from Fox/Europcar to have those charges removed from my card as I prepaid in mid August for this rental. More to follow but disappointingReviewed Jan 1 2023

We've never rented from Fox before. After Hurricane Ian, the shortage of cars in Florida led us to their operation. We belong to a preferred rental program with another provider, so we usually walk to our car without waiting. That said, I'd say the wait (even at midnight) wasn't all that long. The customer service representative was friendly and got us on our way quickly. The staff member at the cars in the garage was upbeat and ready to help with many tips and hints. The car was in good condition and well-cleaned; even though the tank read full, it wasn't. The tank indicator dropped almost immediately upon leaving the rental center. The most disappointing part was when we returned our car; we waited for the one employee working returns to attend to us. A couple of cars in front of us, the renters said, "We must have done something wrong, and we were just thoroughly told about it." It took 20+ minutes to get someone to check us out, which is unacceptable at an airport return. During our trip, we commented that maybe we'd use Fox again, but not after the wait at returns.Reviewed Oct 19 2022

If you are in the Tampa Airport: There is no desk for "Europcar". Go to the "Fox Rental" desk and they will have your reservation. Experience was normal other than trying to find them.Reviewed Aug 18 2022

The counter is only open till 12:30 am and my flight got in at 11:45 so no I had to leave my family for them to get all the luggage so I could run to the counter before it closed. Also I rented with what I thought was called Europcar but in the airport they are Fox rental. If I had no called first to check the counter closing time I would have never known.Reviewed Aug 9 2022

Everything went smoothly except that check in agent didn't explain about prepaid gas... I said I'd use far less than a half tank but it wasn't explained that they charge for either a half or a full tank and you can't get a credit back if you don't use it all. At drop off, the drop off agent did agree to refund part of my money.Reviewed Jul 14 2022
