Nicholas, Mar 2022 - Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Downtown
The room that I had booked (double queen suite with sofa bed and refrigerator) was not the room I was given. When I returned to the desk to ask why, the host said my room was likely given to someone else and there was nothing he could do. I asked to be refunded the difference, and he said he applied a $30 credit to my room. My guests had a odd sleeping arrangement, and all of our food had to be th...

Pros (+) I liked the friendly staff, clean rooms, and breakfast was great. They offered fresh fruit and almond milk, so I felt so happy to have coffee with almond milk each morning and oatmeal with fresh fruit.
Cons (-) The first room I was in had a strange noise that kept me awake all night. They moved me to a different location, and the noise was gone.

Pros (+) Our king room was very spacious. The decor was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was huge! The best part was the utter quiet. From the time we entered our room, we didn't hear another sound - no one talking, no TVs, and no doors slamming. We also appreciated the quiet air conditioning. The staff was very friendly, too! All Hilton hotels should at least meet the standard of ...
Cons (-) Honestly, there wasn't one thing that disappointed us.

Pros (+) Liked the room and bed. The staff was extremely helpful, they made the stay quite enjoyable as we were not familiar with the area. Breakfast was good with a friendly staff, again. Good location, within walking distance to quite a few venues.
Cons (-) The view was of some rooftops, not the best but you are in the city. The shower was bad as the water got all over the floor when you opened door to step out. Water collected on the door edge and soaked the floor. The air temperature was hard to control with the thermostat. The light switches were confusing. I am all for saving water by not washing towels but how about a place to hang the towels, t...
