I was billed twice.
Pros: The car was OK, and Hertz at the Airport was fine, but I got billed twice. I am trying to sort it out. The site I used was a bit confusing and somehow I got billed for a car I did not use.

Cons: Couldn't find the location was on phone got 10 minutes untill they picked up had to get other transportation to get to my appointment the rental park was further than my appointment lol they said take the Bart to rental yard lol

Pros: Toyota Yaris was good little car, speedy enough, good on gas, a bit small for 2 suitcases tho. Pickup site away from airport was considerably cheaper than airport pickup site but required BART and Uber to get there.
Cons: 1. Pick-up location: chec-kin on ground floor of downtown site, get car on 4th floor, going thru pay garage. Car return was quite confusing. 2. Yaris had door key only [no remote key] and manual sideview mirrors. Trunk area barely accommodated 2 small suitcases.

Bad service, multiple locations
Pros: I'm still dealing with Hertz and my trips been over for 24 hours now. My girlfriend and I rented a car to go to the Grand Canyon over the holiday. I had a reservation for noon at the Oakland Hertz on Webster street. When I got there I was told (along with others that had been waiting ) that there were no cars available. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me while renting from this location. They told me come back and after getting some lunch and walking around, there was a car available for me. The car was fine, no issues there. I rented the car for a week and when the car was due in the location was actually closed for the new years holiday at 1pm. Well there was someone there but they said they could not take my car anyway. They sent me to the downtown location, which was also closed but had a drop off. I dropped the car off, put the keys in the drop box and figured I was done finally. I woke up today and another 60 dollars was charged to my card as if I still had the car out on rental. I called both locations and after 24hrs since dropping the car off the return still hasn't been "processed". I think the keys are still in the drop box even. I foresee me having to talk repeatedly with both locations to make sure I don't pay for the additional rental day. Perhaps renting from the airport location would of been a wiser move. :(
