Extra fees and long wait at return
Pros: Clean car
Cons: Long wait at car dropoff. Charged more in local fees than shown on Internet but refunded the difference when requested

Pros: Turning the car in was fast and easy. Site was busy and under staffed both for pickup and drop off.
Cons: Thought I reserved car for airport. When I got there, they said it was a different location, but don't worry, they will reimburse me for the taxi ride there. When I got there, they said that they do not reimburse and that the other Hertz was wrong. I Paid for the car in advance. When i arrived for the pickup, they told me there was a problem with my drivers license. They said that they couldn't help me, that I needed to call Hertz directly, even though they were Hertz. The Phone # they gave me was for a call center. They couldn't help me either. After an hour of trying to get a car, another employee tried again from scratch. This time everything worked just fine. Total time spent getting car 1 hour 25,minutes, extra cost: $32 (taxi's to and from airport). I will think twice about using Hertz in the future.

Worst Rental Ever
Pros: Website failed to disclose the business hours and when they closed. Employees were also unsympathetic and uneasy to talk to and claimed that website sales are a constant problem and not their concern.
Cons: I arrived to my destination to pick up the car at the airport only to find it had been confirmed at an "offsite" location. After immediately taking a cab and arriving at the new location, I found the business to be closed at 12pm on a Saturday. I knocked on the door and an employee came out to ask what I wanted. And I told her I had a prepaid reservation....her response was, "Well, it's 12:06pm and we're closed." She then told me to wait outside to she what she could do. She returned 5 mins later to tell me her manager said there was nothing they could do and to come back in two days when they open. They claimed that this had been a reoccurring problem with online booking and there was nothing they could do. I then took the cab back to the airport and had to book a new rental.
