Cons: Needed to drop off prior to facility opening. Need a key drop box to allow for early AM drop offs.

Pros: Car ran great. Loved the fuel economy.
Cons: Sales person was very insistant and didn't go over the vehicle with me before handing over the keys.

Horrible wait times, will not use again
Pros: The rate was low, but was NOT worth the hassle and inefficiency of dealing with fox.
Cons: The vehicle type I rented (and paid for) was not available, the vehicle I received smelled like smoke and didn't even have keyless entry, the wait times for pick up and drop off were incredibly longer than other companies I have used, Ontario in particular did everything manually! Also trying to call either location it was impossible to reach an agent.

Cons: Despite having a reservation, upon arrival I was told there were no cars available.

Pros: personnel tried to help everybody
Cons: had to wait too long, waiting was not fun, no coffee or beverages.

Pros: The person at drop off was very friendly and listened to what I had to say about my experience. The car did have a low tire pressure alert (that I had to air to 2 tires), so he said that he would have the tires checked for leaks (nail in tire or ??).
Cons: Ontario Drop Off: The rental agency is not at the Airport. There are no signs at Airport/Rental Area on how/where the car is supposed to be dropped off. If I did not look up the information on-line, I could have been driving around for awhile trying to find Fox. Also, the shuttle bus can not get you to the Airport Terminal (3-5 minute walk to terminal from closest drop of point) as Fox does not pay access fees to Ontario Airport.

I don't think that the Ontario location will last
Pros: The second car was fine. The shuttle drivers were very friendly.
Cons: It's a two bus system, first you have to shuttle to the rental area then Fox shuttles you off site. Not too bad. When we walked in the employee just stood up and left, no greeting, nothing. A second employee arrived and gave us a very high pressure sales pitch on additional insurance and buying a tank of gas that we didn't want. (We already had the damage protection insurance purchased through KYAK in addition to our personal insurance) After much eye rolling and "I guess I can't help it if you want to waste money" comments we were assigned a car. I felt like I needed to note any and all tiny scratches or nicks or we would have a problem upon return (I have never felt that way renting a car), it was dark and difficult. We had a small dog with us and I pulled the car up to the office to load up, everything good we headed out. First thing I hear is some wonky noise from the right rear tire area, possibly a bad belt in the tire or a wheel bearing starting to go out, so back we went. I was willing to take the car but I wanted them to at least hear the noise and note the issue because I felt that I would be charged for something. They didn't want to hear much about the noise but instantly offered me another car. The cars were fine, KIA Optimas for a full size. Ours was fairly scuffed up with 45k miles or so. We drove out saying that we felt bad about our choice in companies and the customer service had been terrible. Upon return at 5:00 am several days later the first thing that the check in person said was that she could see some dog hair on the seats and we would be charged $75 - $250 for the removal. Nothing had been mentioned when we took the car (she said that they did the same thing for sand). We took off and finally found a gas station that had a lint roller. A couple of minutes with the lint roller and we went back and checked in with no issue. The shuttle driver was very nice and helped load the bags, upon unloading he set my very heavy laptop case balanced on a suitcase and it fell to the concrete breaking my usb and the plastic edging, now late for our flight we had to just move on. In the end it wasn't worth saving a few dollars for such substandard service. It's a shame because with a few changes in attitudes the business could be nice.

Cons: The fact that we could not rent because we didn't have a credit card. would not accept our debit card. The SUV was also not the one we were expecting

Poor service, complicated rental, old cars
Pros: They were able to give me a car. Was cheaper than many other rental places
Cons: Poor service. Complicated and time consuming to get to the rental place from the airport. One has to take the airport shuttle to the rental car center. Then take a second shuttle (that runs once in 15 min) to the fox rental center. Their computers were down and it took 1.5 hours to rent a car. When I finally got a car. They did not have the category I had reserved and gave me a smaller car.

Great Van Driver!!!!
Pros: On the evening of February 7 my daughter accidentally left her wallet under the seat and we didn't realize it was missing until we were on our way to the airport. The driver called the rental office and the person looked in the car and didn't find anything. So the driver took us back to the drop-off and we located the wallet under the seat. HE WAS SO HELPFUL AND NICE, THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Not using Fox again
Pros: Good rate, seemingly. Was a brand new car, didn't have issues there
Cons: Wasn't clear that this was a offsite/offsite... meaning take a shuttle to the car rental location, then take another shuttle to the fox facility. The second shuttle was left open at the car rental facility with no driver, waited for 30 min till one showed up after I called the office. Car I reserved wasn't available, pushed on insurance 5 times in the process, tried to force me to use their gas service, and then tried to run a credit report on me as I gave them a debit card (No thanks, here is a credit card). Definitely a bottom tier company, won't be renting from them again.

Quick Service, Fast Shuttle
Pros: Great Service, Free Upgrade to Hybrid, Quick Shuttle
Cons: Bathroom could have been nicer

Good car, bad location
Pros: The car is in good condition and the price is very low.
Cons: You have to take a bus to the car rental center. And then another bus to the Fox office. I'd rather pay an extra few $ to stay in the main rental center next time.

Poor overall experience
Pros: Female Agent was pleasant enough.
Cons: Woekers clearly stressed, over worked, and office is under staffed. There is never anyone outside to receive car. Office line is always long with one person tending to everyone's needs.

Great place! Friendly and honest staff :)
Pros: Always have the best rates. I also left an expensive personal in the car and one of the staff chased me while I was on the shuttle to the airport to return it to me! Very thankful.

First time using them...
Pros: Drop off was very easy.
Cons: The Jeep Patriot we got was VERY under powered, and we were hoping for 4x4 which this Jeep wasn't. But by far, the MOST annoying piece of this experience was the very pushy rep that was trying to push Insurance, gas, and road-side assistance down my throat! With lines like "I guess you don't like saving money" and "I hope you don't regret this", it was not a good first step to my vacation. If there were other car rental places around, I would have walked out (They aren't at the airport).

Read fine print
Pros: Customer service was excellent as was the facility
Cons: When I booked the car I didn't know that I couldn't drive it into the States I was planning on visiting. Returned the car immediately after decided I didn't want to modify my plans. Contract was voided with no charges. *Not allowed to drive into any States east of SD, NB, OK or TX.

lousy inventory, poor service
Pros: Nothing except the advertised price
Cons: The advertised standard-size car was a Camry. They didn't have one. Offfered us a Kia, which my wife, who has a back condition, found uncomfortable. THE ONLY OTHER FULL-SIZE CAR, beside 2 Mustang convertibles, WAS A DODGE CHARGER, 10.6 inches longer than a Camry and thus harder to park. Having no other choice we took it, and were charged an additional $117 for a larger car. Check-in and check-out was chaotic; they did not have enough staff at San Diego, as well as too few cars. I will not do business with Fox again.
