Cons: It was not listed that we had to have a roundtrip plane ticket to pick up the car at the airport. Thus, we never were able to pick up the car.

Cons: I was told that I was going to get a certain type of car. When I showed up they offered me a smaller car. I needed a car with a trunk that’s why I picked the size car than I needed. She said that there was nothing that she could do but if I want to pay $20 extra a day I could upgrade to a Tahoe. I had something for a free upgrade and she refused to do it because she said that there was no stock but yet she was offering me an upgrade. I had to upgrade because the car they gave me could not fit anything since it was not the correct size and turns out the moment I got it, there was a death bottle under the seat and all kinds of other trash in the car. Even though the car was dirty which should be clean especially with Covid they couldn’t give me a different car so I had to deal with a nasty car that smelled like smoke. Overall I don’t think I would ever want to use Avis again. The lady was so rude from the moment I walked in. It definitely made you feel like they did not care for you as a consumer. This is the worst rental place ever, don’t waste your time in try another company that actually cares about your business.

Cons: There were no cars available even though I was able to book one online. There is a big disparity between booking and actual available inventory at times via Kayak that needs attention. Please fix this. I had a similar issue last summer in Missoula, MT.

Cons: Drop off confusing. No one to ck you in or tell you what to do.

Cons: No one was there when our flight landed. Someone from Enterprise actually got us a car from the National stock. It would be helpful if someone were actually on the lot to assist customers with pick up and return.

Cons: Return vehicle in parking lot with no directions to customer. Ride back to terminal to turn key in. Nobody at counter.

Cons: There were no clear instructions as to where or how to drop off the vehicle. There was signage directing all car rentals to a lot with spaces numbered and organized by company. No other instructions or personnel were available to indicate where to go or what to do next. A simple sign saying to walk back up the hill to the airport terminal would have sufficed. There were five other people wandering around asking each other if anyone knew where to go. I had to call the Alamo phone line three times before someone could help me with instructions. Overall, the Lubbock location needs vast improvements to customer care.

Cons: The cars were parked way too far from where you pick up the keys and it was kind of confusing to find my vehicle.The underage driver fee is ridiculous.

Cons: No Cars to rent

Cons: Needed a child booster seat and the location did not have one. Other rental companies would not let me rent theirs so we were out of luck.

Cons: When I arrived at the rental agency I was told my reservation was a computer glitch. They said my reservation was real, but it was created in error. So, needless to say, I was without any transportation for my trip. I will not be making any reservations of this style in the future.

Cons: They refused to rent me the car even though we prepaid . I had a drivers license, debit card and a picture of my passport.

Cons: Hertz did not have the vehicle that I reserved, nor did they have the gps unit I requested. He did not tell me that the one he was trying to give me didn't have one until we were almost done and I asked.

Cons: I USUALLY get the car in the ad or in this case KAYAK, which would have been a Nissan Versa, which I am familiar with. I think, because this was a one way rental, they gave me their POS car that they wanted to get rid of. The seat was so high my line of vision was just below the top of the windshield and I hit my head several times getting in and out of the car. It was not comfortable, it was loud on the highway and there was no cruise control (which I anticipated, but hoped there would be). When I asked for the Versa, before finding all this other out, I was told I would have to upgrade, there were no Versas available. I wish I had. Due to time restraints I couldn't go back after getting in the car and change it.

Cons: my flight was delayed for 18hr but they did not keep the car....

Cons: The plastic headlight lenses had numerous cracks and were cloudy/glazed over so as to affect the brightness of the headlights. They were old and needed to be replaced.

Cons: The car had 68,000 miles. The condition of the car reflected the mileage. I was told that I would receive a Chrysler 200 or similar. Instead I got a very beat up Toyota Corolla

Cons: having vehicles ready (even replacements would have been better than nothing)

Cons: The site needs to be updated so that your potential renters won't waste their time going to wrong address. And if I place a reservation for a specific type of vehicle, then there should be one available when I get there and not just by chance.

Cons: Overcharged. Asked why. Told there was $100 deposit. There were no issues or other charges, but amount on my credit card was more than quoted. Asked about it at drop off. Was told they'd have somebody from customer service call. Nobody ever called. Sent messages but they have not been returned. Resorted to disputing partial charge with my credit card. Never had this happen before and it is quite disappointing.

Cons: Car had stains on interior and lots of marks on exterior. Gas tank was not completely full.

Cons: Confusion over coverage, which was accidentally charged to me, even though I rent cars often.

Cons: They didn't have a car to rent and when asked why they shrugged their shoulders! I asked for a recommendation on what to do and they offered no help.

Cons: I intensely disliked the Mitsubishi Mirage I was given. It is not a car, it is an under-powered roller skate with pretensions of grandeur. The gas deals were hard to understand and too expensive. Explaining them caused both the counter person and myself frustration.
