Excellent, especially with a discounted price
Basic king room was $395 which would have been out of our price range. We payed $243 through on of the online sites (Hipmunk, kayak, booking.com, etc.). Stylish and comfy. Roomy for NYC.
We were unable to get a 2nd night at a reduced rate (it was a Saturday) so we moved to another hotel in the financial district that was even better - though not in as exciting a neighborhood.
Everthing was perfect
Large rooms and very friendly staff made for a very enjoyable stay. Location is great when doing things in the LES and adjoining areas.
Continental breakfast was included, which was great. Would have been better if we could have applied the value to a hot breakfast when desired.
Okay but noisy
The rooms were decent.
Rather noisy at night. Slamming doors from adjacent rooms. There was noise from people walking in the room above us. There was a lot of noise from outside.
The staff were great. Starting with Elvis at the door Darnell,, Christine, Alex, Eddie, Leo & the women with the nightly cookies. The fresh baked cookies at night & the restaurant/room service food were very good. Showers & beds fine.
(The sheer curtains could be laundered or replaced.)
Helpful, friendly staff. Great location. Spacious room with a balcony, great view of Freedom Tower and excellent temper-pedic bed.
