The decor and grounds Pool was a bit dirty
Terrible service. Rudest manager Jackie Vega. We will neve be back. We didn't even check in we just left and booked elsewhere.
Loved the literal wonderland that you enter into when inside the property.. It feels like Through the Looking Glass (complete with outdoor chess!). The pools are nice, the lemonade stand drinks are excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Kind of disappointed about the room (on the small size, and teetering on the brink of shabby and chic - but I guess if you like shabby chic, this is great!). I overheard someone complaining about cookie crumbs (not theirs!) in their sheets when they climbed into bed.. those better have been some damn good cookies (no, sorry, I'm kidding - that is just disgusting). I was also frustrated by the booking process.. Granted, I used a third party site ("not the responsibility of the Parker"), but you know what, I have two words: quality control. They do not have to let every last crummy travel site book their rooms for them (and shame on me for using said crummy travel site!). Oh and lastly, the prices are kind of ridiculous here. It doesn't matter how wealthy you are (not that I am), but I think anyone would be insulted by $36 for juice and coffee (which I overheard someone ELSE complaining about at the pool--wasn't even me!).
The hotel is unique with a lot of character. One of the best hotels I've stayed at. The entire staff was amazing as well as the food. Every meal I had there did not disappoint!
